I got the all you can eat shrimp, wings and ribs. The wings were pretty good until the last batch when they covered every tiny bit in chili powder..... WAY TOO MUCH!! I think they wanted me done. The shrimp was terrible and the ribs were ok. Definitely not something I'll ever get again. Not sure why they chose to cook the ayce badly. Parking. Plenty of parking. The parking lot is shared with other nearby stores but there's a lot of room to go around. The main entrance is on the west side of the building, if you want to find parking close to the doors. Upon entering, we weren't greeted right away. There wasn't a host at the front. But a waiter waiting other customers saw us and greeted us, assured someone will be with us right away. It wasn't too long of a wait. It looked like a slow night and only a few workers. It wasn't a big deal. We stopped in before hitting the road again so we weren't in a rush anyways. We got our table and were told our waiter would be there to help us. Maybe 10-12 minutes after sitting our server came. Took our drink and appetizer order. Service was quick and food was hot and fresh. I have my usuals at certain restaurants (I need to learn how to try new things lol), and the square cast iron for my blonde threw me off. But I realized that it was WAY better than their usual pan the bring it in. The sauce actually stays with the cake and not scattered all over the pan. SO, GREAT idea on that change. Our server was awesome. He cleared our table quickly, he was friendly, young but still professional and served with a good attitude. Even with all my many confusing questions about his name. lol! The tables were clean, windows and blinds were dusted and cleaned (YES! I look at these things too). I enjoyed my meal knowing that the area around me was clean. I don't like looking at the dust next to my food while I'm eating. I will dock stars for that. It's more of a sanitary thing for me and I'm sure, for everyone else out there. Keep up the great housekeeping, Orem Applebees. And keep up the awesome customer service. I did realize that tonight, there was a different manager on the clock. Not the usual one who always talks to my husband about football. I also realized the manager on duty never came to check on us and our food. I did see her address another table about a sandwich not being properly made. lol! But who's "spying"??? Not me ;) I hope the on duty lady manager takes more time out of her (very slow night) schedule to greet or check on her customers like the guy manager does. It doesn't take more than 2 minutes. 2/26/24 Received my order through Uber eats and when I got my order the salad looked like crap and was warm with lettuce that was brown. I hadn't been here for years but my husband and I decided to check it out since it had been so long. We had about a 10 minute wait to be seated but the host was very nice upon getting us checked in. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip to start. The chips were crispy, the salsa was very flavorful, and the dip was nice and hot. It was a great way to start the meal and it was tasty! I ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp. The food came out piping hot. The chicken was very tender, juicy, and flavorful. The shrimp were seasoned nicely as well. The mashed potatoes were pretty good as well. My husband got a steak and said it was a decent steak. Not the best he's had, but decent. I will say, from what I can remember, the portion sizes seemed a lot smaller. However, the food was good and I can see myself going back more often than a few years! Great service too. read more

I haven't been here in years and it was a pretty decent experience. The staff was nice and friendly and the place looked clean. Maybe more smiling would be better though. The fires were delicious and crispy. The cheese sauce on them was also really good if you like cheese. I would say they need more dipping sauce though. The Mac and cheese with the honey pepper chicken was pretty good as well. I think the sauce on the chicken was super tasty and the chicken was moist and crispy. Well a family fight did not break out and the cops were not called, so we off to a pretty good Applebee's start. As a party of three, we went in at about mid-noon, between 12:00pm and 1:00pm. It was surprisingly quiet and sparse considering it was graduation week for Utah Valley University. Our server was a little aloof and unengaging, simply wanting the orders and making a hasty egress form the table. The following is the line up of our appetizers and entrée's: Appetizers: Spinach & Artichoke Dip - The dip was temperature hot, yet the chips broke apart easily. Pro-tip, use two to three chips when dipping, this prevents the breaking of a single chip. Boneless Chicken Wings - The Buffalo flavor was low to moderately spicy and easily palatable for those who do not like a lot of spice. However, the boneless wings were rubbery and had a similar texture to wings that have been twice fried. Fried once to cook them, and then fried again to heat them up. Entrée's: Bourbon Street Steak - It is not that I am a Steak Connoisseur the steak was not too bad. I had requested a medium rare, yet received a medium. Not the end of the world, because they do season their steak. So many places forget that salt and pepper compliments the flavor and brightens the taste. The mushrooms and onions were grilled well and had plenty of flavor. I opted for the mash potatoes and they were a little thick, but still okay. I question if they were yesterday's batch because they were a little cold in the middle. Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp - I tried the chicken and shrimp. The chicken was a little dry, but still had decent flavor. The shrimp were a tad overdone, as they were a little on the rubbery side. Four Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders - the Mac & Cheese was very good and full of cheesy goodness. Those turned out to be the star of the show. The chicken tenders had a great sauce and flavor, yet again the chicken was a little rubbery, as though they have been twice fried, maybe three times. In conclusion, was it okay? Yes, however I would rate the service and food quality as mediocre. I was hoping our server would have been a bit more attentive considering there were only three other parties in the house. The food quality could have been better. Yet, I would suggest going a little later in the afternoon or early evening when everyone is awake and the cook/chef has brought out the fresh meats and produce. Will we be back? Probably not, as we did not feel that it was worth the $135.00 bill (Including a tip). read more

Enjoyed the food here when I went here this week. Currently trying to lose weight and get healthy so I decided to go with the 8 ounce steak, garlic mash potatoes, and broccoli pared with an unsweetened ice tea. It was very filling and the waitress who served us great as well. Plus we didn't need to wait that long for the food to come out. Eating at Apple Bee's is like over eating Fish & Chips, sounds like a good idea but you regret it later. The waitress took our drink order and then delivered 50% of the drinks, one of them was wrong and said they had to open another bottle of wine for the 3rd drink (15 mins later) I ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast, please see pictures of the advertisement vs reality: Chicken Breast-more like a large chicken nugget with meat compressed together to form a chicken breast appearance/shape. It was extra dry & I asked for some BBQ sauce to help swallow. Mashed potatoes-I got two ice cream scoops of potatoes, not appealing. Broccoli-one piece with a lot of little pieces trying to make up for the white plate. It was a good thing I was hungry; I would have returned this plate as it was FRAUD. I saw more of the plate than food. I just need to remember next time somebody says let's go to Apple Bee's I will be like No thank you, it's a step up from fast food and that's a small step. read more

So yet again I try to try Applebee's,,, as good as their menu looks, just never fails to be horrible. I left maybe three or four bad reviews in my whole entire life and I'm pretty sure all but one of them are Applebee's. This is just so freaking pathetic and such a shot in the face to a customer. I don't know what to say and that's why I'm including it I got an 8oz sirloin and this is how it looks and I'm not even going to get into a horrible serving of chips and queso and how horrible the garlic mashed potato was. The food here was typical Applebee's food. Nothing great or bad just what you would expect from a typical Applebees. The servers were all cordial & friendly. This particular Applebees had a 3 drink alcohol minimum. Apparently that's the part if you go to a "restaurant " and order beverages either alcohol in it. Had a bunch of money left over that they wouldn't honor even a third of. Waiter took forever was a chill guy. Jessica the manager who clearly had bare minimum leadership experience barged into the conversation like a pitbull began to be snippy about it and making slick remarks. I seriously love those chicken wonton tacos. And I get so frustrated that it keeps bringing me back because continuously the service is just terrible. And somehow seems to get worse every time. I mean, I understand a busy night. Or an off night. But every time? Let's talk about tonight. I literally never got a fork or a napkin. We asked our server. Never came. We walked up to the front and they said they would bring us some - never came. Drink refills took at least 20 minutes. Our server came out maybe one time. (And you would think to go would make up for bad service but I have had times where I wait for 10-20 minutes to even be talked to when getting to go.) Then add on to that, most of the food was overcooked. Never saw a manager to be able to try to address some of the concerns. It really just makes me sad. read more

I don't think I've ever had to wait to be seated at Applebee's. We are usually always greeted right when we walk in the door. Store is usually clean and staff friendly. Most always our server comes over as soon as we sit down and takes our drink order. If we order an appetizer it is hit and miss on when or if we will even get it. Today it came out fast and fresh. There have been times that we have waited on it for quite a while and once where the server forgot to even put in the order for it. The menu choices are not my favorite, I usually always go for some type of pasta there. It's comes with a breadstick, again hit or miss if we actually receive one or not. For the price the food is.. at best.. just okay. It is nice to be able to go to a sit down restaurant and get right in. read more

I never write reviews, we came on a Monday at 12 or 12:30. Our waitress didn't come for 20 min to get our order. Food did come out quick i'll give them that but food was terrible. I'm saying i'm expecting 5 star meal im at least expecting to like it somewhat no meat on the ribs and the boneless wings were meh. They got two of our orders wrong, but there weren't any servers to notify, and by then we were late to our next appointment and didn't want to wait any longer. Burger was edible but made me nauseous. One piece of bacon was NOTHING but fat. Onion rings were ok. Appetizers were awful. The cheese with the pretzels had a thick skin like it had been sitting out a long time, the artichoke dip had several chips in it like it was recycled. Only came because we had a gift card.
