I am used to going to the Vernal Wingers and have been to other locations. The difference in vibe and customer service was crazy. It felt almost as if it was a completely different company. The Orem location feels more like a diner than a restaurant experience. If you are looking for a restaurant vibe this Orem location is not it. Server seemed quite annoyed he had to do basic things for us. Never asked to refill drinks. Finally had to flag him down to ask for water. Food was not Good. Items I have ordered many times in the past at other Wingers. Wish I took photos. Buffalo cauliflower was more scraps and barely covered in the buffalo sauce/ crispy fried batter. Mostly white with hints of orange. Spicy Mac and cheese was absolutely inedible with how much spicier it was compared to other locations. Wow!! Okay Wingers - you surprised me! I hadn't been to Wingers in YEARS and was blown away by the great service and delicious food. The sticky finger salad was so refreshing! I came in tonight with a couple of my buddies everything was going well at first until I noticed a man with a different uniform I believe to be the manager. He was an older man with black hair and glasses. We asked him over to our table because our food was cold. Like, really cold. He talked over us, and would barely let us get a word out. I love wingers, I've been a wingers fan since the early 2000s. And it's still good. The Orem location is the one I visit most often, but all the ones I've been to have been fine. Portion sizes are pretty generous and the service has always been good. The tenders are always my go to, but their wings are so friggin big, I'd get their wings over BWW or any other place any day. I'm a great big fat guy, and if you are too, sit at the table.and not the booth. Wingers doesn't have those crappy metal chairs that my fatness can't fit in, so that's always a plus. read more

POSITIVES: to start, let me just say that our server (Anika?) was wonderful. She was attentive, quick, and completely on top of serving our rambunctious family crowd. She was knowledgeable when it came to the menu items and friendly. We love that they served complimentary popcorn while waiting. The wings were very good! We got to try the garlic parmesan, teriyaki, buffalo, original amazing, ghost pepper BBQ, double barrel BBQ, and possibly a couple others. My favorites were the original amazing (awesome flavor), and ghost pepper BBQ (which wasn't too spicy and had fantastic flavor). NEGATIVES: the rest of the food was mediocre. It lacked any sort of wow factor as it was incredibly bland. We had the Garlic Breath Burger and Avocado Chicken Club Pounder. The garlic parmesan chicken fingers were more garlicky than the garlic breath Burger, a disappointing reality as you'd expect enough garlic to ward off a pack of vampires with a name like that. Also, I am picky when it comes to my ketchup. The one bottle we had contained ketchup so dark you would've thought it was bbq sauce (see pictures). PRICE: expect to pay about $15 per person. VERDICT: while the service and atmosphere are very welcoming, the food was mediocre at best. Stick to the chicken and you'll be safe. Meh. That's exactly how I feel about this place, I was excited to try this out and hopefully find a new burger and wing spot. I ordered the cowboy burger as well as the 7 piece wings to try them out- amazing sauce-, and was just let down. The burger had VERY little BBQ sauce on it, other than that it was decent. I should have just gotten a regular burger instead. The fries were nothing special, I would have preferred shoestring fries with this kind of place. The wings were actually decent! I would have loved the wings and given 5 stars if they just had more sauces. The amazing sauce was not what I was expecting. Overall the sauce didn't keep me coming back. My husband and I attended a comedy show in the area and were excited to find a coupon on our tickets for a free Asphalt pie. It's been years since we've dined at this restaurant because the location closest to us closed down years ago. We often crave the sticky finger salad and each ordered one. It definitely wasn't as good as I remember. There was way too much cheese and dried cranberries, I had to remove a lot of it to make it edible. The service was far from good. The waitress acted like she was in so much of a hurry even though the restaurant wasn't busy. She was nice to give us our pie to go because we were full. The worst part was the water. The service was all over the place and what I mean by that is at first the server was fast, to fast he took our drink order and within a minute came back to take our order. When they finally came back we asked if they had the local beers they brew at the Provo location and the server looked at us confused and said they only have bottled. They were out of the first beer and came back with another and a cup that could have easily fit 2 bottles of beer. Luckily they brought out the sodas and beers within a couple of minutes. There was something off with the tap water, it had a distinctive taste to it, not normal. My son ordered the bacon Mac and cheese and the cheese bread was squishy and the dish was extra cheesy. We had a terrible experience at Wingers recently. We ordered a large platter of wings and husband ordered a salad. When they brought the wings out, about a half hour later, the waitress told my husband they didn't have "the stuff" to make his salad. My husband asked if he could see The menu again. She came back and said the kitchen was closed so we couldn't have another menu or anything else and best she could do was a meatless side salad. They said they would make it right with free dessert (for a man who ordered a salad and didn't get dinner,) a $10 voucher to come back (after that experience?), and they gave us the side salad for free. We've come to wingers for a while and have always loved the taste of their house signature sauce and homemade ranch for their sticky finger combo. However last night we were incredibly disappointed and don't know if we'll ever be back to this location. My husband and I met a friend for dinner and were seated for about 15 minutes before our waiter came to take our drink order. We ordered our food at the same time because we had plenty of time to look over the menu. We waited about another 10 minutes for our drinks and then our food came out 5 minutes after. Our waiter only came over to check on us once during the time that we were eating and only refilled one of our drinks. After we were done eating, we waited about 20 minutes for our waiter to come over so we could get our check, all three of our drinks were empty and the ice had completely melted- just for reference. The irritating part is that we watched our waiter completely neglect us and go to the other tables in our area and stand around and talk at the register with the other waiters. When we finally got our check, my husband asked if he could get a drink in a to go cup. But when we got our check, we didn't get a drink to go. We paid and waited for the drink for about another 5 minutes before we flagged the waiter down and asked again. Our waiter seemed incredibly annoyed that we would ask for something like that. Honestly, Winger's is nothing special. It is your typical 3 star, mediocre, average Joe, American restaurant. So what is worth bumping it up an ENTIRE star? The sticky fingers!!!! Now those are not your average chicken strips. My family orders a platter of them almost every Saturday to eat while we watch football. You can call in your order and then go pick them up to skip waiting in line. This last batch that we bought on Saturday was especially delicious. We ordered onion rings because they are out of date on their understanding of Utah State liquor laws. They said they couldn't give us a beer without ordering first. A15 mins before I was even greeted after being sat down. Place was not packed only 4 tables including me. Another family of 3 Sat next to me (sat just before me) already had their food before anyone even spoke to me. I had to wave one of the servers down as hey huddled chatting about random stuff. Asked for water and placed my order for Naked wings and they brought me breaded wings. While that came out quickly the order was wrong. The corrected order took nearly 10 more minutes. No refill on my water. Really was excited about another wings place when I visited but I'll likely never return to this location. Poor service. The guy who finally helped me was nice but a little too late. Offered me a discount for the issues. Unfortunate that the service took so long to surface. Kind of ironic that the wings at Winger's is not what I would come her for. I have been here multiple times and have never been amazed by the wings here. We ordered a large order of wings with the cajun spice and garlic parmesan seasonings. The Cajun didn't really taste like cajun at all and despite having 4 peppers on the pepper scale, I would have rated it 1 pepper Cause there was honestly not a ton of flavor. The garlic parmesan was not bad though and had a stronger flavor; however, the chicken itself was still dry, particularly the drumsticks. I also ordered the cowboy burger and felt that that was a better purchase than the wings. Also, even if they say the side of fries is not large enough to share, it most definitely is large enough to share. Between the 6 of us, we had roughly 3 orders of fries leftover.
