Even my toddler knows his classic Chick-fil-A order: nuggets with a fruit cup and milk! The only thing that can be improved is the way the line wraps around the parking lot. This review is exclusively for this mall location. The Chick-fil-A brand is pretty much impeccable and the top of the heap for fast food IMO. The reason for my two star review of this location (they lose two stars) because of sloppy service and repeated confusion in this mall location. Several times I've been there and it seems like each time there's a problem with my order or they take forever on my mobile order. No reason to order ahead because it will not be ready and you'll wait just as long or longer because they have lost your mobile order. They'll accuse you oh being at the wrong location. That is their go-to opening line when you have the audacity to tell them you made an online order. This has happened to me the past two times I've ordered here. I won't be back. If you're trying to get a mobile order you're better off to just drive a mile north or a couple miles south to the Provo location or the Orem location on State Street. Skip this location unless you plan to eat in the mall food court, and don't mind having your order filled wrong. Now if you want a free dessert card - go here, experience what I have mentioned, and then tell them of your experience and they'll give you a cookie card for a free cookie on your next visit. The staff was polite and quick taking your order and calling your name for your food pickup. There is something about the chicken that keeps me coming back for more. Staples are the chicken sandwich or nuggets, but my to go is the avocado ranch dressing with a cobb salad. read more

I did not finish that half of the grilled cool wrap and decided to eat the other half, and there was another long hair in that one as well after taking one bite. I owe one to Nicole!! I came in looking for some food to get quickly because I was in a rush, and when I asked to get a chicken sandwich. Nicole told me "listen there's nothing wrong with a chicken sandwich, but I have a feeling that we're going to be backed up on them. If I were you I would get the chicken nuggets.". "Ok I'll have the chicken nuggets then!" As I went to pay, Nicole stopped me. "Do you have the app? Don't forget to scan the app for rewards!!" I always forget to scan the app, so I was so thankful she reminded me. I scanned the app, ordered my food, and only had to wait 2 minutes for my food while all the people in front of me that got chicken sandwiches were still waiting for theirs. As a fan of McDonald's Southern Chicken sandwich I was excited when I saw Chick-Fil-A at the University Mall In Orem.Southern chicken sandwiches yumm...That's what they are known for so I pass the Japanese, Chinese and Mexican booths for Chick-Fil-A. Gosh, I thought it was a total let down. It was o.k. not better than McDonald's not to mention that their sweet tea wasn't sweet and their lemonade was way too sweet (I finally opted for water). The criss cross fries were umm normal (not salted !!) If I lived near a Chick-Fil-A I would give them another try. Maybe it was an off day or maybe this location just isn't good, who knows but I'm not giving up on this fast food joint just quite yet. read more

I am of the opinion that Chick-fil-a is the best fast-food chain in existence. Some would argue that this is akin to being called the politest assassin or the most pleasant-smelling corpse, which I would counter by pointing out that the word "assassin" has the word "ass" in it twice. That usually derails the debate rather effectively. The chargrilled chicken sandwich is outstanding, especially with a squeeze of their Texas Pete's hot sauce. The chicken strips are way good, the spicy chicken is tasty (although not particularly hot), and the chicken salad sandwich is toasty and nice. This particular location also has some of the friendliest service I have ever encountered. They remember my usual order week to week (I visit frequently), and they almost never call me unpleasant names. read more

I waited 10 minutes to place an order because there was only one cashier. The couple in front of me was elderly and was taking a long time (which is fine, they're elderly). I'm upset because there were 2 people employees doing other things, and 3 literally doing nothing. So the whole line became subjected to the elderly couples time frame. So I had never been to a Chick-Fil-A until just the other day when I was jonesin' for a chicken sandwich while shopping. I was sort of put off by the commercials I had seen in the past - Cows holding up signs demanding people "eat more Chick'n" - clever. But I was surprised at how decent the food is. It's essentially just your standard fast food joint with a narrow focus on chicken, but I love chicken, so it's all good. They actually use chicken breasts instead of mashing up parts of a chicken until it's unrecognizable...what a concept. While at first I didn't think it looked appetizing because of how dark the breading was, it was really tasty. Even better - they serve the sandwich with criss cut fries. So tasty. In addition to my "entree", I was served some entertainment, albeit annoying. The dude ahead of me in line was trying to shmooze up on the girl taking the orders. Why he thought that telling her he just received his teaching certificate would be a turn on is beyond me, but he thought he was the absolute shiz. Anywho... I've never been the biggest fan of eating at mall food courts, but this was a good experience at a reasonable price. I guess I will be eating more chick'n - damn, that advertising worked. read more

My sister and I were visiting from Hawaii, where a Chick-fil-A location is not (but one is coming soon!). We stopped here in the food court during our shopping break. Same taste as other Chick-fil-As but different customer service. Chick-fil-A always has amazing service but this one I felt like they could step it up. The food was great and all and I had no problem ordering, but when it was time to get a refill, I was waiting on the side forever. There were 3 workers--one taking orders and two disassembling the lemonade machine. I know all three of them saw me because they all made eye contact but none of them offered their help. It would have taken 10 seconds to just get me a refill and have me back shopping around. A nice man who was in line showed so much aloha to me. He noticed I've been waiting for a long time and told the cashier that I needed a refill before he started ordering. read more

I love Chick-fil-A. I am ordering food at this one of the places around the valley at least once a week. The food is fantastic, the service fantastic. I am writing this to offer an opinion about handling messed up orders like the one I had 2 days ago. I was in the drive thru at like 10:40, I had missed the breakfast sandwich I wanted so I ordered grilled nuggets instead. When I paid they said pull into a stall at the front of the restaurant, we will bring it out to you because the grill was not ready. I waited 15 minutes and finally flagged a girl down and told her. She immediately went inside to take care of it. She came out with my nuggets and explained that they had written down the wrong kind of car and never took my name or anything, so I guess they thought I had driven off without the food I paid for?!? They made the nuggets fresh for me and gave my a free cookie. My thought is that they should have given me a coupon for a free meal. I didn't want a cookie, that was a nice gesture, but like I said, I had been waiting 15 minutes, or more, I didn't keep track of the time until I had been waiting a while. Free meal was definitely in order especially considering all the money o spend at that place! Just thought someone should think about that! read more

I often find the prospect of a fast food restaurant giving you food that looks like what's on the menu to be a fantasy. But this store, however, pulls through somehow and remains extremely consistent in their food's quality and image. Their spicy chicken deluxe sandwich looks almost exactly like the delicious sandwich I see on the menu board overhead, complete with pristine buns, crispy chicken, and healthy, green lettuce and unblemished tomatoes. Many of their other food items, including the chicken salad sandwich, the southwestern salad, charbroiled chicken, and many others also fit this amazing "picture perfect" standard, with only the basic chicken sandwich suffering from the "crumpled burger" syndrome most people associate with fast food. (doesn't detract from the taste!) Even the fruit in the fruit parfait is completely fresh! On top of the food quality, the service has been nothing but polite, fast, and very friendly as is standard for most Chick-fil-a stores. I've rarely had to wait for more than 5 minutes at the very most, and ironically, the busier the mall, the faster I get my meal. Even though I'm not always in the mood for a chicken sandwich, when I am, I go here. Simply because I know they'll do it right. read more

This is my first time eating at Chick-fil-a and I made the mistake of ordering something not deep fried in diabetes-inducing goodness. Instead, I opted for the new grilled chicken sandwich that is being marketed as a healthy, low-calorie alternative. When I opened my container, the first thing I noticed was the unappealing green of the lettuce. It seemed to be half-way cooked by the heat of the chicken. It lacked the juicy crunch of fresh lettuce so I took it off my sandwich. Not surprisingly, the tomatoes were soggy and warm as well. It's as if this sandwich has been made for a while. The grilled chicken was decent but the rest of the sandwich was utterly lackluster. I should've just ordered a signature breaded chicken sandwich and forget about eating healthy! read more

They Know how to make great Chicken. Waffle fries are some of my favorite fry's out there. Sandwiches are good although the chicken strips are my favorite. Kids love this place too. This Chick Fila store's ownership recently changed. I have found the food to be excellent, the wait times short and the employees have super customer service.Thesecret to Chick Fila is the sauce! I would have never used mustard on fries before, but this makes them super good! Also love their wrap with Avacado dressing and of course the Lemon Aid is fresh squeezed. We are loyal Chick Fil A customers. We eat here at least twice a week and have for quite some time. It's always our go to place. We have two kids who are 1 and 5 and they both eat it so well. We normally go to the location on state street in Orem and I would give them a 5 star every time! I would also give the other many many locations we have been to a 5 star review. The food, customer service, everything is on point all the time. My son is 1 and loves fruit but has a hard time eating apples especially with the peels on. He chokes every time. So for the past 3 or 4 months I have been asking if they will make a fruit cup with no apples. The workers are normally so nice and make it with no problems or complaints. It been great because before we just threw the apples away, which I hated doing. Tonight we were at the mall and I got both my kids a kids meal. I ordered the fruit cup with no apples as usual. The guy who took my order seemed a little bugged that he had to go put fruit in a cup instead of grabbing one out of the fridge. (Also they were not busy at all, no one was even behind me in line). He tells me that he isn't substituting anything for the apples, which was fine. In the past the fruit wasn't ever filled to the top but it was still worth it. When I opened the bag, the fruit cup was pathetic. There was 1, yes, 1 slice of strawberry, 2 mandarin oranges and 7 or 8 blueberries. It didn't even cover the bottom of the cup. My husband thought this was ridiculous, and I agreed. He went over to ask if they could put a little more fruit in it. The manager, Jared said no, that if he puts more in they wouldn't meet their price point. He was being very sarcastically "nice". Which obviously comes off as very rude. My husband said that if they couldn't make it right, he just wanted his money back. So they refunded him 2.15 (the price of an single fruit cup) The kids meal only cost me $2.65. So I paid .50 for the nuggets, toy and chocolate milk. I would bet they lost more money refunding it than they would have if they threw in a few more slices of strawberries or a couple more canned oranges. Plus I'm assuming they just had to throw away the fruit they gave us. So I hope Jared being rude and worrying more about price point than customer satisfaction was worth the loss of money and the loss of a loyal customer. There are plenty of places to eat at the mall and we will not be eating at that location again. Hopefully this was a week moment for Jared and not the normal. Chick Fil a prides themselves on great customer service and they deserve to, but managers like Jared are ruining the perfect record they have. read more

Spencer, Chick-fil-a worker who was taking our order, asked what brought us to University Mall that day, was very kind and friendly during his conversation with us, and patient with our many orders for a family with 4 kids. Chick-Fil-A is the best place to go when you are craving a succulent chicken sandwich. And the shakes are the absolute best I have ever had. With all kinds of different sandwiches and delicious fries this is one of my top fave restaurants. My ideal order is the chocolate shake and the spicy chicken sandwich.
