Aubergine was a great fast casual restaurant that had yummy healthy food options. The amount of flavor and range of Mediterranean and Brazilian cuisine was unexpected but lovely. With every order you received a Pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) that will make you crave more! I ordered the tri tip madeira bowl and the steak was well seasoned, and well portioned. The sweet potato bites stole the show as they had both white and jewel sweet potatoes. I did order an extra side for my toddler but be warned they are a little spicy. I recommend asking without spice. We also ordered the chai, excellent spice to sweet ratio. The servers were very accommodating and even helped us when the toddler made a tiny spill. Came here on a weekday and it'll be my go-to salad place when I'm in the Provo area. I was very impressed with their variety of options and also the quality of the food itself. I had the equivalent of a kale Cesar salad and the salad came with a spicy mango dressing. I wasn't impressed with the dressing and neither was a fan of the salad based on the dressing alone. But the salad was redeemed by the Parmesan crisps and the many other delicious toppings that went well with the salad. I might just ask for a different dressing next time. The cheese bread that came with the meal was delicious and warm. I think their menu could also be more readable. There's a lot of items up there and it can be hard to read. One thing I do like is that once they give you the number when you order, they will find you and bring your food to you. There's a few tables (around 4) outside, so this place is conducive to having pets with you at lunch outside as well. read more

I love Aubergine. They serve really healthy and yummy food. They have a bunch of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options. I got the Better Earth Bowl, which contains quinoa, mushroom, brocooli, avocado, etc, with a mango dressing. Each salad or bowl comes with a piece of cheesebread, which was so delicious. I loved the crispy skin with a chewy texture inside. The service was pretty quick. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The place is clean. I think the tables can be moved around, so this location can accommodate big groups as well. They have bakery items and desserts available. I haven't tried them though, because they are REALLY pricey. I guess that's one reason I've only gone to Aubergine like once a year. The bowl I got cost $15; note that it didn't contain any meat. Other places that sell healthy bowls like this are cheaper. I think they need to either lower the price or increase the portions. read more

I usually stay away from the more "basic" places in Orem/Provo, but Aubergine is a good one. Service is fairly fast, and there's a lot of seating inside. It's decently priced (~$15/bowl), portions are fairly big, and the variety of food (veggies, protein, carbs) you get in a bowl is great! Our go-to's are the Tri-tip Madeira Bowl and the Mediterranean Bowl. The tri-tip bowl has a light sauce that covers the rice & mushrooms, and there's sweet potato in it too! The Mediterranean has SO many different veggie components (so colorful and flavorful!) and the falafel is pretty good! And it comes with a lot of hummus and two sauces. The cheese bread was a bit hard/dry this time, but it's usually better. Overall, definitely come here if you're looking for a well-balanced and decently-priced meal! read more

The food is normally good sometimes great depending on the day. Today too much salt in the omelet and smashed avocado. The Sriracha was filthy and always is. Never clean. The lid was absolutely disgusting. It almost made me gag out loud. I couldn't look at it and it got under my nails when I tried to open it. There are no extra napkins so I had to use mine to carry it. Also it's freezing outside and I felt lots of cold air blowing on me inside and freezing me out the whole time. I'm ALWAYS shivering when I leave and yes I wear warm clothes and a coat. The drinks are delicious. I like to mix mine with mostly water. I love aubergine. As a brazilian, I love the many nods to our local cuisine with the Rio Bowl, pão de queijo, The açai bowls and etc. the Rio bowl is always guaranteed to be 5 stars. I love that dressing over the turmeric rice, beans and the chicken. The reason why I'm giving this review a four stars and not five is because I come here so often, I do see some minor inconsistencies: - there have been a couple of times where they forget to ask or completely fail to give me the complementary pão de queijo - I had to ask for the dressing for my bowl a couple of times in the past month because someone forgot it.: - carrots and sweet potatoes need to be cooked a bit longer, in my opinion. I got a tri-tip madeira bowl on December 30th and the sweet potatoes were super cold and not fully roasted and the carrots were basically raw inside. I like raw carrots but if you advertise roasted carrots, give me those. Like I said, minor things. Aubergine is a great spot for anyone who is looking g for a healthy and filling meal. They offer a variety of salads, bowls, and a few sandwiches/flatbreads and healthy desserts. The food isn't overtly Brazilian but there is a Brazilian flare here (they offer cheese breads and açaí.) This is the closest thing to sweet green in UT at the moment. It's pricey so I tend to only order filling items like bowls that come with grains. The salads and flatbreads don't seem to be filling enough for a $15 plate. I always get the Mediterranean bowl with the signature basil vinaigrette a fresh lemonade! The hot fresh cheese bread is delicious and we enjoy their vegan chocolate desserts as well! read more

Update: So appreciative of the swift action to address the experience and know that the brand I have come to love, continues to be one of my favorites and know that as a whole, they are amazing! I have eaten here for years, pre-ordered food during rush hours and have always had a fantastic experience. Today I had the worst customer experience because of one employee. I preordered on the app, so I wouldn't be late to work and it could be ready early. There wasn't a soul in the restaurant and I got there early and asked if what I ordered could be made earlier (now, instead of 15 mins so I wouldn't be late for work) since I couldn't mark asap on the app and also if i could sub feta for goat cheese since I am allergic. He said no to both (or he'd charge me extra-never ever have I been told that) and then I sat there waiting for 20 mins until he finally decided to start making it. I could have just ordered right then & it would have been made immediately so I couldn't understand why he went willing. I work where he send large volumes of travelers and business to local eateries and constantly recommend Aubergine as I can put my name on it.
