Went to Texas road house to celebrate my wife finishing her masters today. We arrived at 4:00pm. we checked in the sat us quickly. But took 15 mins to even see the waitress to help us. Then it took about 45 mins to get our food. The place wasn't even busy and we watched people who arrived 10-15 mins after us get their food before us. They didn't have rolls ready for us, the waitress wasn't helpful we ended up just paying the bill via table computer and left because we never saw her. I ordered chicken critters with the double side of fries. When I got it, it was under cooked chicken with half a side of fries. Very disappointing. After leaving Texas road house within 3-4 minutes I got bad stomach pain, which caused me to rush to the nearest bathroom holding my stomach. This was my first time at Texas Roadhouse and it was cool. People rave about the bread but I get it with the cinnamon butter on the side, come onnnn!!! We ordered kids chicken strips and fries which was simple and good. But the shrimp meal was VERY TASTY!! And let me tell you about that apple pie that they bring some vanilla ice cream for you. Mannn I must've had a half of the pie because the serving size was .. well you know what, everything is bigger in Texas but its Utah lol... But the size was HUGE and I LIKE IT!!! Honestly I was very disappointed in the service that we had at this location. First of all when we were seated there was so much food underneath our table and when we asked if we could get someone to sweep it our waiter said, "would it be ok if we don't sweep it? Just because we do that in an hour" who wants to sit in a pile of chicken and Mac and cheese on the floor? We then asked another person there if we could get a broom and she said that she would have to ask a server. Well our server came eventually with a broom but literally just put it by our table. Well didn't know if she was expecting us to clean or what? We ultimately took the broom and ended up sweeping everything from under our own table. While we were doing all this by the way we just saw a group of waiters just standing around not doing anything just talking. I get that you have a schedule but it would be nice to have someone come and clean after someone has just eaten. Anyways towards the end of our meal we were still talking and our waitress comes up to us and says hey is it ok if I ask if you guys can leave? I'm just trying to wrap up the night. Mind you it was still packed in there and we were all shocked with that based on the service we were given tonight. So the waiter Brian, from the very beginning addressed us as "kiddos" I'm in my 30s and my partner is in the 40s. Quite inappropriate but we didn't say anything. He's a kid in his 20s and we just figured that's how he communicated in general. We ordered two old fashioned, because it is a restaurant I understand I needed food to go with it. He said it's ok if I order a side but I'll only get one drink for the night, okay fine. My partner ordered a proper entree with two sides and as he finished his drink, he ordered another old fashioned from Brian, Brian said this is for YOU, you cannot share it with her. If I catch her sipping your drink, I'll take it away from her! WOW, I wasn't going to "steal his drink" and my partner at this point was quite annoyed by his accusing tone when he just wants another drink ordered. He basically made assumptions that he's ordering this drink for me and because I only ordered a side, he will be watching me and making sure I don't drink it(and he's making sure we understand he WILL take it away). anyway we wanted to talk to Brian and letting him know how accusing his tone was and it wasn't customer service like at all, he wouldn't have it and walked off and said to have a manager talk to us. Manager was a no show until later when we asked for him again. Now manager Hunter was quite unbothered and basically did nothing and showed no empathy. Overall, one person can make or break the experience and it's quite upsetting Texas road house would hire incompetent people like Brian and hunter. And for Brian, if you wanna catch me "stealing a sip" from across the restaurant... (or you assumed I would), go be a cop. You seem a little power hungry. Or maybe seek therapy. read more

Our server was very sweet, helpful, and considerate. Our order here is always correct. My wife loves coming here to get the kebabs and their loaded potatoes. I love the 8oz sirloin with shrimp. The environment is very friendly and lively. Definitely our favorite location in Utah county! read more

The food here was yummy. They cooked my steak to a perfect medium well. Their seasoned rice was delicious, but the fries and buttered corn were average. Our waitress was really nice and was fast with our order. They also moved us to two separate tables instead of one which was very kind of them since we came in with a lot of people. Steaks were overcooked and undercooked. Server was good to keep our waters filled but never checked back to see how our dinners were until we were done. He was in a hurry from the start. The manager came over after a while to ask how things were and I told him my MR steak was well done and my wife's medium steak was rare. He said he was sorry and that I he next time I should let my server know. There won't be a next time, but o told the manager that the server never stopped by after bringing our food. The manager then gave us certificates for free appetizers next time. Again there won't be a next time. The rolls were awesome as per usual at Texas Roadhouse and the music and noise and mood was classic roadhouse so all good there. Final straw was that the server didn't remove our dishes and then tried to push the automatic 20% tip! Must be outside of his mind to think he'd get more than about 10% and a complaint to the manager. read more

I was very happy with our visit last night, given we haven't always had the best experiences at this location due to running out of food, overcooked steak, etc. Our sever was good for the most part. He didn't fill our drinks up when they were basically empty and wasn't super friendly though. The rolls are delicious. They were hot and so pillowy and sweet. The house salad was crisp and fresh. I always love their ranch as well. The filet was cooked perfectly medium rare and had an amazing flavor from the seasoning and grill. The mashed potatoes were hot and I enjoy the brown gravy. Everything was delicious. This was one of the best food experiences at Texas Roadhouse I've ever had. I was so impressed. Can't wait for next time! read more

well bit of a wait and the place was busy the worst thing about being a single diner is they rush you out quickly. I ordered the red chili soup which after a long wait came out cold . the new York steak was good but too much salt on it and the bake potato was over the top. atmosphere was electric with yeehaws for people's birthday was a change and the staff line dancing . shame Josh one of managers visited the tables around me but by passed mine completely like I mentioned single diners get poor service sadly read more

This was our first time at a Texas Roadhouse. We did have to wait for about an hour after putting our name in the queue to be seated but there is a very nice mall next door so we had enough to keep us busy. As it was our first time there, the manager came over personally to welcome us and they gave us 3 samples of appetizers for first time guests. Nice touch! For dinner, my daughter had Andy's Steak from the teen menu which came with a side and she had a loaded baked potato. For me, I had the Combo of a 6 oz sirloin and ribs. I also had a loaded baked potato and cup of wonderful chili as my side choices. I had a $5 Long Island Ice Tea which is a bargain price for this drink. One of the highlights are the sweet rolls with cinnamon honey butter! Delicious! These rolls are on par with Olive Garden breadsticks and Red Lobster biscuits. Very good! We really enjoyed our visit here as the food was great, service was wonderful and the atmosphere was loud and boisterous as you'd expect from a roadhouse restaurant. We went here mid week early in the evening so that it wouldn't be quite so busy. We didn't have to wait long, about 15 minutes. The host sat us at a table but never engaged in conversation with us at all which we thought was unusual. Our server came out and we gave her our order and water to drink. She also brought lemon and lime slices which I enjoyed. Our food took a bit longer than normal and they didn't have any rolls or cinnamon butter until just before our entrees came. I asked for a cup of BBQ sauce which the server promptly forgot so we had to ask someone else to bring me some. Our server never checked on us to see if things were ok. I needed a box to go and when we did finally get her attention, I asked for a box and mentioned that we were both seniors and my spouse is a veteran. We usually get a 10% discount. My meal got 10% off but my spouses didn't. My entree was quite dry and did not sit well at all. I don't normally tip so poorly but considering we didn't get the service we are used to, I did not tip well. Rather disappointed in this visit. I only ever have good things to say about this place. My husband and I love eating here because we love the price and the quality/quantity of food you can get here. The unlimited rolls are our favorite and we usually fill up on them before we even get our food so yay for leftovers! Depending on how busy the night is can depend what kind of service you are going to get. We have had awesome servers, and meh servers, it's the luck of the draw. But overall we love it here and the vibe. It's a loud and fun environment so if you are looking for more of a chill sit down place, probably not here. But for us it's a perfect go to date night. Also though my husband loves steak and always asks for it medium but always ends up with a different type of pink on the inside. Sometimes it's too well done, and sometimes it's raw. I've been to this location more than a few times. In fact, I had my first date here with my now husband. It seems to be a go-to place for lots of people, and is always busy no matter the time of day. Being next to the mall is probably a great location, however it does make parking very difficult as there is no restaurant only parking. I've had servers who have gone above and beyond, and ones that just suck. But here's some feedback from my most recent visit. This was probably the least busy I had ever seen it, although it was back to normal by the time we left. They originally walked us over to a nice quiet corner with only a few guests, but then told us our table was "taken" and we got sat in with a bunch of large families with kids. This was pretty annoying, but whatever. It is what it is. Our server was okay. She seemed nice, but was pretty spacey and had to be reminded of what we ordered multiple times. Our food came quickly, and she was good about bringing the rolls whenever we were out! I've had the pulled pork before, but not the sandwich. The bun was soft and nicely toasted. It had tons of pork on it, enough for two sandwiches realistically. It was nice and flavorful and enjoyable to eat even without the BBQ sauce. I have a huge texture issue with fatty meat and I've never had an issue with it. The fries were nothing spectacular, just fries. There was a mix of crispy and soggy ones though. My sister and mom did complain that they were cold. I was fine. I wish they'd add an exit door or expand their entrance/waiting area so it wasn't so difficult to leave. read more

Another good Texas Roadhouse [Orem UT] We were able to dine inside the restaurant and it felt nice to have some feeling of normalcy. We were ushered in to our booth... no wait. We picked out our own 20-oz bone-in ribeye steak which included two sides. We chose buttered corn and rice pilaf as our sides. We shared the meal between hubby and I. This place doesn't mess around when it comes to steaks. Always tasty and cooked to perfection. Soft, tender, and juicy meat. I believe Neil was our server that evening. Friendly and fast. The restaurant made some changes to comply with social distancing guidelines. The booth next to ours was empty. We love Texas Roadhouse because the food is reasonably priced and good quality. Texas Roadhouse has been consistent all across America for years. We live in California but this dining experience was in Utah. The place is casual, we don't have to dress up, and we can relax. They are supportive of our military and provide free meals for our troops on Veteran's Day (awesome!). And they are supporters of The Special Olympics too... most importantly, those rolls!! Oh man!
