This is my first stop back to this location in three years and I'm pleased to see its still just as busy and just as good. Even with how busy it was we were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. Our server was great and we never had to ask for anything. Food came out pretty quick. It didn't stop us from loading up on rolls and butter. Yum! We also added an appetizer of their fried pickles. Usually I'd say no, but the ones here are so good! Tonight I had the 8oz fillet cooked medium with my usual go to sides... a baked potato and green beans. My steak was cooked exactly how I asked. This was honestly the worst experience at a restaurant I've ever had. I waited on hold for over 40 minutes to get on the wait list because I had a large party and could not be put on the list with the app. When I did get to talk to someone, the manager assured me that they could accommodate us, which ended up being a lie since when we arrived and were finally sat almost 2 hours later, the service manager, Josh said they cannot accommodate parties of 10. He then proceeded to argue with my husband in the middle of the dining room that we were told this information over the phone (we were not). He then told another manager that we swore at him, which we did not (we don't use language). I called to talk to the store manager, Clayton, about this who then told me that if he had known why I was talking to him, he wouldn't have even made the call. Clayton then proceeded to tell me that we were the ones that were misunderstanding everything and that he will believe his manager over me (way to hear both sides of the story). He then told me that I was lying about it and that we were lucky to have been allowed to eat there. He said that he didn't see anything wrong with how we were treated and didn't see a reason to try to fix anything because the miscommunication and misunderstanding was all on us, no blame on any of them. So my recommendation first of all, go to the Lehi Texas Roadhouse if you must have their food, but definitely don't go with a party larger that 6. I was not looking for anything from the manager other than a bit of understanding and perhaps an affirmation that he would have his staff explain stuff MUCH better to others than they did for me. You know, fix the cracks in the system. But to be called a liar and to be told that my experience wasn't something that was worth his time in hearing was a huge wow moment for me. This is a great place for good quality steak at a reasonable price. Staff are extremely friendly, energetic, and will make sure you are accommodated properly. My daughter always has a great experience here. For first timers, try any of the steaks from the main list. Loaded baked potato or yam are great side options. Be careful about filling up on the bread early on though. They're just too good with the cinnamon butter. The only thing that kind of irks me here is the crowd. Most people are okay and are very accommodating of "implants" or people of different ethnicities. The students are all chill and loud in a good way. But on several occasions me and the family have gotten stares from other people (of Caucasian descent), like something is on my face. A part of me really wants to put the address on the table: it isn't polite to stare. At least say hi or something. But maybe hearing a bilingual family communicate is weird? I have no idea. Anyway this place is great for steak and an awesome value. Just bring extra situational awareness given the peculiarities of the crowd. read more

I don't normally have a bad experience at this Texas Roadhouse, but unfortunately we had a bad experience here today. Since the pandemic, Texas Roadhouse has tightened up its wait list by having you sign up online and come in when your turn is up. We love being able to sign up at home and head over right in time to go inside! When we got to the restaurant we still waited a few minutes to be seated, and then waited a while more for our server to come. Waiting could definitely be a theme of the night, as all of the service was quite slow. When we got to our table, the previous customers check was still there, along with some trash, which meant our table could not have been cleaned and sanitized before we got to it. When we finally got our food, we were very underwhelmed with our dishes. We ate the 10 oz ribeye cooked medium, which came a bit over cooked, was super salty and a little cold; like it had been sitting on the plate for quite a while. One of the sides we ordered, the applesauce, had quite a few pieces of shredded cheese in it... we were pretty disappointed overall. Aside from that, the ribs had a nice crust on them, and the pulled pork was flavorful and saucy. The bread, of course, was perfect as always. Maybe it was just an off night for this Texas Roadhouse. I came here with some friends for New Years Eve dinner and Kineley was such an awesome server! She was friendly, smiled, laughed and jokes with us and was personable. She made the experience one of the best ones I've ever had. I would come back here just to have her as the server again! The food is always good and cooked well. The rolls are a total fav of mine here. They have changed it since I was last there and the seating area no longer exists. So if it's cold outside, you might want to just wait in your car. I've eaten here a few times with a close friend and have been very pleased with it. I love their complimentary bread with honey-butter. We usually order "rattlesnake bites" for appetizers because they're delicious. On our most recent visit, I ordered their filet medallions on rice covered with portabello sauce, which were lowfat and tender and utterly delicious, while my friend ordered a bone-in ribeye steak, which was both fatty and flavorful. I'll almost-certainly order those filet medallions again, although I usually order their smothered chicken, which is also excellent, and I hope to try their grilled salmon next time. Last week, we went to Texas Roadhouse in Orem and we had the best experience we ever had with that restaurant. We have been to a few locations but, the service there was outstanding! Food was consistent to what we expected, which is really good. The ambience was vibrante and it was super busy! Now I understand why... our server was very patient and very nice. A shout out to Aaron, the manager that came to our table to say hi to us and to make sure we had everything that we needed. Aaron went out of his way to help us with a friend that was with us to get in our truck. Our friend had a surgery on his foot sometime ago and he was having a difficult time getting in the truck without a ladder. We forgot to bring a little ladder. Aaron brought us a chair to solve the problem! Thank you so much, Aaron for bringing us a chair to help our friend. That's what I call legendary customer service. Been here several times and it's always been fun, delicious, and clean. Dining room was spread out and clean due to covid, and they had sanitizer stations all around the restaurant. Service was incredibly fast and friendly. Portions were huge and delicious. No complaints here. I usually end up ordering the New York strip steak grilled shrimp skewer. The flavor if the steak was excellent and the seasoning on the shrimp was amazing. Towards the end of our visit the music volume went up significantly which I thought was strange. But then the servers and other wait staff broke out in a line dance to Boot Scoot and Boogie. Great fun. read more

If you are in the military I absolutely do NOT recommend this location. Clayton the managing partner was absolutely brazen and rude. This was the most embarrassing dining experience I have ever encountered. I am waiting on my replacement drivers license to arrive. I provided my Federally Issued Military ID, Passport Card, etc. Clayton flat out said they were fraudulent. I said the. Go ahead and have Orem Police respond to verify them. Clayton the. Misquoted Utah DEPARTMENT IF ALCOHOL AND BEVERAGE CONTROL Approved identification laws, rules, etc. This is not the first negative experience at this location. On to go orders I have had burned steaks, missing food and items. I have never used their waste if issue e-mail credits. Because I don't don't believe in being "bought off" for bad service. I will be forwarding this interaction to the Utah DABC Compliance Division. As it is ALARMING that the "Managing Partner" of and Alcoholic Beverage vending establishment does not fully, completely and accurately understand the rules, regulations and laws that apply to verifying Identity Documents to serve Alcoholic Beverages at his Establishment. He wouldn't even allow me to order my food to go. Definitely will not be returning. I will further be in communication with the Brand Owner first thing Monday Morning. As Clayton's behavior does serious and irreversible damage to the Texas Roadhouse Brand! Too bad there is not a ZERO star option to rate this location! We had Texas Roadhouse TWO months ago during the COVID pandemic for our anniversary and are still thinking about it. We ordered online, and were pleased to see we could choose when it would be ready for us. We pulled into the parking lot at the allotted time, and were immediately approached by 1 of 5 workers in neon vests to usher us into a parking spot and to track down our order! Within 2 minutes, we were back on the road again, with our hot, accurately cooked steaks and delicious sides to boot. My first time to any of these places and I'm a fan. My wife and I were on a road trip this past September and we got here not long after opening, just before the lunch crowd arrived. The place filled right up, fortunately we'd ordered already. We both got a rib-eye and may I say that who ever cooked our steaks was a genius at making a magnificent steak; might be one of the best in my 60+ years of dining. I come here occasionally when the family wants steaks and the famous rolls. Until this last time our experience was never the best. They would always be out of food or drinks by the time we could actually get in and get seated. This time it was different. I signed up online for the waitlist and received the first text. We ran a couple errands while waiting thinking we'd be receiving another text to let us know when we were getting close. The waitlist is vague, so I called into the place and asked if they could tell me where I was on the list. They didn't find me and asked if I text HERE I told them I did not because I was under the assumption that I text that when I actually arrive not the moment I sign up for the waitlist. They told me that you don't show up on the list until you text HERE. The hostess told me to hold since I had been waiting for a long time and she was able to get my family on the list next and told us to check in at the hostess station in the next 5 minutes. They were very helpful and quick to get us seated. The service was exceptional quickly refilling our drinks and removing items from the table. This was the first time my husband was able to order the prime rib, it was the last one for the night. The prime rib was medium to medium rare and delicious with the horseradish sauce. The salmon was really good and love the tartar sauce, so fresh. The only drawback on the weekends is how loud it is, you cannot hold a conversation without feeling like you are yelling at each other. read more

For this chain, this location does surprisingly well. We were seated promptly for a Friday night. And the server was very attentive. My husband had the chicken fried steak and it was cooked perfectly. Huge portion. Not the most amazing meal but for this chain they did it well. I tried the burger and it was okay.
