We came to Utah to visit for the week (from Michigan) and looked up a few places to try. My husband is a big motorcycle guy so I thought this was perfect. We came in about an hour before closing. Planned not to order anything too complicated since it was a late lunch for us. There were two other tables occupied which another server was tending too. Right off the bat it felt like we were being rushed by ours. The server was a little high energy and was zooming around the dining room. Very adamant about wrapping silverware but our drinks (waters) went empty for a while. I think the atmosphere was the best part. While we waited, we went to check out the motorcycles. James was an amazing server! We were just driving through on our way to Vegas and needed some breakfast, it was busy but we were able to sit at the bar top which is next to the kitchen. My husband and I both ordered the biker breakfast I got eggs scrambled with Ham Steak and he got over easy eggs and bacon. Super cool brewery, well-designed with lots of character! Themed for the original Harley Davidson strap tank motorcycles, there are lots of interesting things to see, particularly with the museum next-door. I had the cheesesteak sandwich along with some onion rings and slaw. Food was outstanding, coleslaw was a bit spicy, but very tasty. My friend had the salmon and he said it was the best he had ever eaten. The beer is where it fell short for me. My friend had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. She didn't quite enjoy it like she thought she would. The meat was under seasoned and the bread was quite hard. She actually did not eat the bread. It is an open kitchen to watch the chefs from the bar, or you can sit in a booth/table. We came on a Saturday morning, so it was extremely busy, but the servers and chefs handled it like champs. There is also 2 floors of motorcycle museum (free admission if you are a restaurant customer) with everything from vintage bikes to vintage posters. We visited for brunch and enjoyed it so much that we returned for breakfast the next day. However, our first experience was definitely better than the second. During our initial visit, we had the breakfast burrito and cheeseburger, both of which were great. The breakfast burrito was one of the best I've ever had, and the classic cheeseburger was delicious. I also ordered orange juice, which came in a small, thin glass, and we shared a side of tater tots that were very tasty. The tots were seasoned with a blend that included seasoning salt, which tasted amazing. While we waited for our table--about 35 minutes--we strolled through the attached museum. It was a fun experience with an incredible collection to explore. After about 20 minutes, our table was ready, and the first meal was so good that we couldn't resist coming back the next day for breakfast. For breakfast, we ordered another side of tater tots, orange juice, an omelet, and country fried steak. This time, the tater tots came plain, without the seasoning we enjoyed. Don't miss all of the vintage motorcycles next-door, dropped in a great, aged-looking interior. I might give them a 4.5 out of 5, but again, I think they're underrated. I normally don't give five stars for breakfast, but this place was so unique. There was a 20 minute wait so we decided to sit at the bar. I had a biscuit breakfast sandwich which consisted of egg cheese and bacon and a side of crispy hashbrowns. My husband had basically the same thing except with ham And egg over easy. We didn't want to eat too much because we're on the road. I had a cup of coffee and we had a cup of fruit which consisted of blueberries and strawberries. Later I found out all 3 buildings are owned by the one owner-- hence all the antique road signs and motorcycle/ bicycle statues scattered about. They were quick to allow this swap and for no charge! My omelette was perfection. Hubby had theCountry Fried Steak and Eggs plate-- and I stole a taste of that gravy and it was so yummy! He commented on how the breading on the steak was seasoned well. We stopped in mid day and enjoyed a really good breakfast. Omelette was solid. Croissant French toast was tasty too. Service was perfectly friendly but a bit slow. It took a few minutes for our server to speak to us despite being mere feet away across the counter. And our food sat in the window for a few minutes while she chatted with a regular. The vibe is copl and the decor is unique, right down to the shop rag napkins. My wife raved about how perfect her omelette was. My chicken fried steak plate was FULL! The seasonings were just right ,enough to make this country fried steak memorable! The gravy tasted homemade. I even noticed the eggs were seasoned and I really appreciated that. Not just some bland scrambled eggs on the plate. Another thing that stood out was a Raspberry jam that was with both of our breakfast plates. We inquired about it since we found it so yummy, we were savoring it. It turns out it was not homemade but a local brand. After we ate we asked the waitress is we can go up to the museum (sign says to ask first). It was quite an interesting collection! Even the art on the walls were part of the theme. I am really irritated with this place. I came in and ordered to go. I asked if the a la cart pancake I added to my order would come with butter and syrup and was told yes. I get to my destination, and find that not only are there NO UTENSILS in the bag, but also no syrup and butter. So, I'm eating a plain pancake with my hands. And a tip was still solicited??? This is not the first time I've had issues with this place. I think I will be moving down towards my list of places to go. Awesome place to visit. You walk into a restaurant with an open kitchen and watch a biker chick with pink hair throwing pans around with both hands, and the smell is American diner 1950. The servers were quick and kept the place spotless. Prices are fair and portion sizes are all we could eat. Everything was good, the cook scored major points for this review. High marks for the onion rings and country fried steak but even the potato hash was kissed with fire by a real pro. The attached museum is full of Harley Davidson bikes, choppers, and a couple war time trophy's. There are Indians and a few old brands I didn't recognize; even some early drag racers worth appreciating. Even the vines growing on the patio have some history if you know who to talk to about them. There is also a shop attached, you can look in on the mechanics through windows by the bathrooms. Excellent choice for breakfast or lunch. read more

This place was quite a treat. Not only were the eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancake exactly to my liking, but the friendly service and being able to sit just inside the motorcycle museum was something special. As for the pancake, this was prepared an average thickness and size. I wouldn't call it thin or thick. I tend to avoid pancakes and prefer them when they are thinner, but this was fine to my taste. I was satisfied with just the one syrup packet and pad of butter provided. I find that to be a good thing as with a coffee that doesn't need to be doused with sugar to make it palatable or a steak that needs no sauce. Their attention to detail in this place is amazing. They have gear lever mechanisms for door handles and actual red shop towels for napkins wrapping the eating tools (utensils). I was hoping for a good breakfast, but I got more than I had expected and would highly recommend this place (and already have) to anybody you know who appreciates the history of cars and motorcycles. read more

Poor service from the start. Hostess practically ignored us and waitress was not friendly. Entire staff looked angry and like they didn't want to be there. A plus was many menu items weren't available, but we didn't find that out until they had already taken our order. Then we were told they couldn't make what we ordered. The food we could get came fast though, but my $16 burger was lackluster. Bathroom was messy, and the roof was leaking. I knew breakfast on a Saturday morning would be busy and these days nearly everyone is short staffed, so I wasn't surprised by the line at the door. My friend and I arrived at 9:45am and left around 11:20 am. Luckily we were able to get a table and drinks pretty quickly and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The wait for the food was long but easily passed talking with my friend. Once our food arrived it was hot and delicious. I had the country fried steak which was amazing with sourdough toast and jam. That jam made all the difference for this protein heavy meal. Tried their sausage and it was good but a bit on the oily side for me. Shout out to our server Nathan for being such a super star. The table next to us had 12 people and he easily balanced getting their orders while taking care of getting the check for us. the rating i give is for the ambiance but more importantly the service me and my friends recieved. I would have given Sidecar a 5 star rating if i didn't have to send my eggs back. It frustrates me that a cook can over cook (burn-fry) eggs when you ask for sunny side up and or overeasy. Eggs should be fully white with NO sign of brown burn and the yellow yolks should be yellow and creamy NOT yellow/brown and hard in the middle. A fun diner that has a great personality--it's attached to a automobile garage with a museum of old motorcycles and auto collectibles (museum is currently closed for COVID). In the back, you can see people working on cars in the garage. Definitely a unique, but awesome experience! The food was great--pancakes were fluffy, and the country fried steak was one of the best I've ever tasted! Portion sizes are generous. On top of great food and a unique atmosphere, the service was great. We were seated at the bar immediately, received our food quickly, and were attended to while we ate. Not sure why, but they only seat you when someone leaves.. meaning, my wife and I went on an a Sunday mid day visit. Yes the motorcycle museum is worth the look after putting in your name for the reservation after being told it's a 30-45 min wait, even though a dozen open tables.. And according to the up & up.. They only seat you to what the kitchen can keep up with, which our name took approximately the full 3 mins.. But the chicken fried steak!! 5 stars!! While the French toast was terrible.. wife and I barely ate half of the French toast! Place like this need to have the best everything... like Hawaiian bread French toast.. and offer it with a crème brûlée syrup.. not maple syrup.. (see Kneaders) As the pancakes too.. offer fresh blueberries but not a blueberry compote. Why only maple syrup.. and look into sourdough bread/toast.. while the "raspberry jam is out of this world...& the coffee was perfect!! And COKE PRODUCTS SERVED HERE. Not nasty Pepsi.. We had fun exploring other shops and peeking in the windows of the nearby motorcycle museum. Once seated we were served relatively quickly despite how busy it was. The food was delicious. Our party mostly chose breakfast dishes--all different. The enjoyed each one. I got the chicken tenders and onion rings which were very good. If you want to spend two hours here solely waiting on a table + your food to come then this is a great choice. Our visit started out great because we noticed how cool the interior was since it was connected to a Motorcycle Museum. Then, we started noticing that people that came in behind us were already being seated and some even had food. We noticed that there were several tables not being bussed and that the workers were extremely stressed out all over. Once we finally sat down, many parties at the bar got their food long before we did, and when our food came, we still were left waiting on the toast to come after we were halfway into our meal.
