Update after today's visit. Been a few weeks since here last and this visit did not go well. Now service is not the problem, it was top notch. The issue was my food. Now typically order the Filet tips and they are great, this time they were grizzle and only ate one of three and looking the other two they didn't look any better. Our server was really friendly and did a great job keeping drinks filled and checking in throughout the meal. The food was good! I don't go to Texas Roadhouse often so I wasn't sure what to order, but my sister-in-law recommended the grilled shrimp. Typical location. Staff was very helpful and took care of our table of 7. Food was a little late coming. It all arrived at the same time which has been an issue at some locations. Everyone was happy with their orders. As always my big complaint here is the noise level. Thought that with lunch it would be less than at night. I was wrong. The food and service was great. I was impressed, especially considering it was Saturday at dinner time. It was a pretty cool environment, and this is coming from someone that strongly dislikes loudness and large crowds. My first set of utensils was dirty. So that's something that needs better quality management. I've had both in-restaurant and takeout. The takeout needs improvement. Order pickup estimations can be off by as much as 30 minutes. Additionally, the customer service for takeout is really poor compared up in-restaurant service. So please take a look at that! I will be following up with another visit soon. read more

First time going to a Texas Roadhouse on a road trip from Canada on our way to Vegas. Had to try it. First off the service was great. The manager was told it was our first time and set us up with a free appetizer! That was nice. Secondly, the complimentary (and bottomless) buns with that butter is amazing! We were there a little before 6p for dinner. This was a disappointment for me since I'm normally very impressed with the texas roadhouse chain, this was definitely a disappointment that I did not expect. My buddy and I ordered prime rib 12 oz medium and 14oz medium rare. When we got the order we got a 12oz medium rare and the 14oz medium. The server tried to convince us the 14oz was medium rare which certainly was not the case and the 12oz got sent back because it was medium rare. Well the "corrected" orders came back but the supposed 14 oz was supposed to be medium rare but it was clearly not and on topif that it appeared to be 12oz and the 12oz was medium but appeared to be 14oz. I made the comment that the orders were reversed and I was shortly replaced with another piece which clearly appeared to be the correct size but still medium. I was also told that it was weighed by the manager. I was told another friend was also there the same evening at another table and they were equally not impressed by the prime rib and the service also, so this mishap was not just my opinion of this location. Usually our visits here are pretty good. This last one wasn't the best. There were several "little" things. My spouse never received one of the sides he ordered with his entree. The appetizer that we ordered didn't set very well for either of us. The sauce on the ribs was much too spicy for me. The service was ok considering they were busy. It was A Very busy Saturday night !! No one enjoys a long wait, but they handle it professionally. Yet Once we were seated, the food rolled in quickly and immediately we were attended to !! This is a hard working team, well trained. This is impressive is how they handle themselves in this crisis. The overall experience is amazing. The front end manager is quick to come over and smooth it all out as we had a few minor issues, an excellent bonus talking to management. The steaks were all done right, shrimp and salad were excellent, rolls plentiful and hot. The blooming onion was great too. It is amazing how they are able to deliver our food so quickly despite being incredibly busy. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He earned a nice tip. This is a dedicated staff. Came in tonight for my birthday dinner. The first blooming onion we received was burned and most of the onion still had the skin on it making it so tough. They brought out a new one no problem but that was the first mistake. Then we ordered a bone in ribeye medium. The steak comes out so thin, I've never had a steak so thin at Texas Roadhouse, and it's cooked well done and soooo dry. After finally 10 minutes we were able to wave our waitress down and she says she'll take it back and bring out a new one. 20 minutes later we finally get a new steak and this time it's completely rare. We're annoyed at this point and ask for the check, she apologizes and says she'll talk with her manager. She comes back and says the manager will comp $25 and said that they're super busy so these mistakes happen. Which I get but we waited over 30 minutes for a new steak just for it to come back so rare it doesn't even look cooked. We ended up just taking the raw steak home to cook ourselves. We love Texas Roadhouse but this particular location needs some cleaning. I wore flip flops and my flip flops stuck to the sticky floor. The bathrooms were dirty and need a deep cleaning. We ordered a medium well steak and I cut it in half and it was bloody I sent it back to be cooked more to get it back ten minutes later tough and over cooked. Shes smiling ear to ear and is visibly excited over the death of someone who left behind a family and did nothing to deserve being shot. I make steak at home regularly but sometimes it's nice to just... not have to. We came to this location for my birthday. It was.. lacking. The kitchen manager/head chef person was really nice! He came out and spoke with us after we sent back three steaks. I'm NOT someone who sends things back. I hate it. It makes me feel awkward, it puts stress on the waitress and kitchen staff, and you end up eating your meal after everyone else has finished. But good lord. We had 2 medium rare steaks that came out well done (beyond well done, they were basically brown char) and 1 medium steak that came out rare. It happens, I get it. But our waitress? At least she gave us a laugh. She asked if we were 'from Utah.' Uh, well no not technically but we've lived here for 25 years. She goes 'oh so you're not -from here-from here. This is how we do steak in Utah, it's different I know.' Pardon? I've lived in Utah 22 of my 31 years on this planet, and we are regulars (once/month) of Texas Roadhouse. Having a beyond well done steak marked as 'medium rare' is definitely not a Utah thing I'm aware of. Utahs got its oddities, but cooking steak isn't one of them. I'm not going to bother going into great detail about all that took place, but suffice to say there was nothing redeeming about our experience here. Food - Terrible. Tasteless. Overpriced. Just in general. Steaks, salads, desserts...all of it. Service - table service wasn't bad (very slow but friendly), BUT the younger bearded beanie-wearing hipster dude at the front check-in desk dished out some of the rudest treatment with attitude I've ever seen anywhere. For Veterans Day they offered a silent dining option for a few hours to help make it more comfortable for those with PTSD.
