This is our favorite local Mexican food restaurant! It never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and there is such a great ambiance. We love the egg burritos, birria tacos con queso, Molcajete (the sauce and shrimp and steak and chicken wrapped in a warm tortilla and big enough for everyone to share is the best!), and the fried steak with avocado. So the service was OK and the ambiance in the restaurant was nice. Unfortunately, neither of those can overcome the quality of the food. I was there with my wife, daughter and grandson as well as my daughter's mother-in-law and sisters-in-law. My daughter's in-laws had eaten here before and liked it, which is why we opted to eat there. The presentation of the food was nice. It actually looked appetizing but when we started eating it, the experience went south pretty quickly. It just honestly tasted bad. It was not good at all. The molcajete was around $35 but it really didn't have $35 worth of food in it. Additionally, they used chicken thighs rather than breasts, which are cheaper, fattier and greasier than white meat. I ate about three bites and wrote the whole thing off. It was just gross and the flavors were way off. Even the salsa tasted wrong. I was told that my kid's mother in law actually complained to the staff about it but I wasn't there for it. I had to go out and reposition car seats for my grandson. I would have sent it all back but my wife didn't want to make a scene. To sum it up, it was awful, no one liked it and none of us will ever eat there again. Mi corazón left my heart broken. From reading all the great reviews and seeing all the good pictures I was way excited to try this place out. The pricing is about moderate to pricey, compared to similar restaurants. I don't mind price, as long as the flavor performs as well, and unfortunately here, the only thing that made my taste buds happy was the fountain Dr Pepper. The complimentary chips and salsa made me question whether I had COVID, (which I do not have ) but the salsa lacked flavor. And I mean any. The chips were complimentary so I couldn't make fair judgment until I received my food. And then. We got our food. It looked super yummy until you take your first bite. Then. It's disappointment. No flavor. And then second bite. Same thing. It didn't matter what we ordered, it all tasted plain. So sadly. I will not be coming back. The money wasted, or the food wasted was worth it read more

Well, the queso fundido is the clear winner here and hands down what you should get. Next time that may be my meal. And with those homemade flour tortillas! Delightful. Probably one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. These guys great cooks! Perhaps slightly expensive, but honestly, worth it. It's easy to post an order online and just pick it up in a reasonable amount of time. The website has every possible option to add two or take away from your order. That's pretty cool! The restaurant itself is an old Magleby's and the building is quite nice and clean. These people really know how to do it right! Food is amazing, the service is excellent. I highly recommend this place! Our second time here and we tried different dishes to compare, thinking that the first time could've just been luck. It wasn't luck, this place is delicious. The chile verde pork burrito is big and tasty, with a balanced ratio of juiciness to filling. Barillio is new to me, but slow-roasted brisket is right up my alley. The flavor is beefy in a natural, not just bullion, kind of way. You know how some places toss in concentrated beef cubes thinking that's "flavor." Not Mi Corazon; they know what they're doing. Warning on the pre-meal chips and salsa... it's a tad spicy for this weak-sauce mouth of mine, but probably not for most people. I'd say it's a 1.5 star for heat, if you want to gauge my level. The food was average. The service took a long time but it seemed like there was just one server so we didn't mind since he was so swamped. I asked him for a substitution and he seemed annoyed with me. I got the enchiladas and they were very dry I had to ask for extra verde sauce (the server also seemed annoyed with me at this request). The queso was not like the queso I'm used to, it was a bit orange and not the white kind I like. The chips and salsa were good but you had to pay for refills. They do give a soup with the order of an entree that was a 10/10. The soup was included with the order, but they forgot to give it to us so we had to request it. I saw they were having a BOGO on burritos deal on Facebook. I got a fish burrito and a California burrito. I ordered online and picked it up, and it was ready right on time, still hot so I know they didn't do it 15 mins before and just let it sit. I thought when I ordered fries they were going to go in the burrito, but no big deal, the fries were good though. The red and green salsa that came with the burritos were really good. The burritos themselves were good, they weren't amazing, and they weren't bad, they were good, but good enough to come back. The tortillas were soft, the vegetables inside the burritos were fresh, the rice and beans had a great texture and flavor. I serendipitously went on a Monday night for a quick bite. It was a pleasant surprise how delicious everything tasted. From the chips and classic salsa with the Fideo that tasted like my Nana had made it, I was pleased. The mole smothered chicken enchiladas were so flavorful that I ate every bite. The rice and refried beans were classic style. My husband got the spicy chili verde smothered burrito plate. The meats were moist and flavorful. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean. Great food. Great price. Large portions. Authentic rich chili flavors. Spicy, as Mexican food should be, but not too hot that you can't eat it. Service was attentive. I'll be going back. read more

I had the pineapple fajitas and chimichanga, it was great. I have been back several time.

We ordered the Family Taquito deal, which included 20 Taquitos (got 10 shredded chicken, 10 shredded beef) + rice, beans, chips & salsa (salsa was AWESOME) and 16 Oz containers of sour cream and guacamole (which was DELICIOUS). We also added eight $1 "Taco Tuesday" street tacos: all for about $43. ($50 exactly after tip and tax). I feel like this was an awesome deal, the food was enjoyed and I really loved their execution of delivery (the trays the food came in, how organized it was in the bags, etc.) and super bonus that delivery was free! The guy that dropped it off was nice too. I appreciated that he left it on the porch as we requested, but he stayed and waited to be sure that we got it. My ONLY "complaint" is that the meat was dry and I'd definitely recommend the carnitas or al pastor tacos over any of the chicken, which was slightly bland.... but considering that we've never had their food IN the restaurant, I'm not sure if I can give it an adequate judgment just off of take out. We came here after looking at some of the Parade Homes in the area. We got there about 5:30pm on a Tuesday and it was empty. The employees were nice and took great care of us. While we were there, a couple more couples came in, which was good to see. Their chips and salsa were a little too much on the hot side for me. I got the Tuesday taco special. I got a carnitas taco and an al pastor taco. The carnitas was delicious! They were so juicy and full of flavor. The al pastor was also good but I was expecting more on the shredded side when it was more like carne asada style. But it was still good and full of flavor. I would definitely get the tacos again. I wouldn't travel to Spanish Fork to come here but if I'm ever in the area, I would definitely come back. It's in a great location right on Main St. read more

I'm pretty particular about my mole poblano enchiladas and this place manages to nail it. Mole is a dish that is extremely difficult to make and can take hours. Most restaurants make it with a premade sauce that you can buy in a grocery store. Not this place! It totally tastes like it's made from scratch witg multiple layers of delicious spices. If you're looking for a unique authentic Mexican dish with a nutty flavor, a hint of cocoa and beautiful rich spaces, then this is your dish and this is your place! I had a great experience at Mi Corazon in Spanish Fork, UT. The service was amazing! And the portion sizes were huge. All of their dishes were so tasty. I would order the Chilaquiles again, for sure. They had several breakfast options which were hard to choose from. They have a parking lot right behind the building with close and easy access to the restaurant that is also handicap friendly.
