It was plenty of food for all of us, and we even had leftovers. The food here is seriously so yummy. The sesame chicken is so crispy and I loved the lo mein. The fried rice lacked flavor to me, but my husband loves it with some soy sauce added. Their cream cheese wontons are good!! They have a Pepsi soda fountain, and their Diet Pepsi brew is good. I did feel like I was annoying the man by asking for a refill, and he didn't even fill the cup to the top. The service overall was intense and almost felt like I was in trouble. The inside is cute, and they have a good amount of tables. My only complaint is that some of the tables are filled with cleaning supplies and other restaurant items. Not cool, considering we had driven 20 min to get there. Now we have a 40 min round trip drive to go back and get them. They did throw in a free mango sticky rice, but we'll get to that in a minute. The chicken satay seems like the new partially artificial pressed meat that restaurants are using now. It had little flavor and was quite rubbery. Peanut sauce was ok, not enough for the 4 sticks of meat. Penang curry was ok, not a creamy coconut Penang sauce that one would normally expect, had very little chicken or other ingredients. Except lots of onions. When we finally tried the fresh rolls, they had hardened a bit and so were difficult to chew. These are costly but contain no protein to offset that cost. Most fresh rolls have shrimp or chicken options, there were no protein options for these. They did have a small stick of avocado inside but not worth the money. And again, not enough peanut sauce for all 6 pieces. And I ought suggest they cut these rolls in half instead of in thirds. The middle one is terribly difficult to eat without making a big mess, as there is no "end" to hold the contents inside the rice paper. The mango sticky rice had unripened mango slices and the rice was pink. We weren't sure if the rice had spoiled (rice turns pink when it's old because of bacteria growing on it) or if they had colored it with something. It was inedible. The fruit was bitter and we didn't know if the rice was safe to eat. All in all, not a great experience at Yummy Thai. Very little of our food was actually "yummy". And we wasted gas having to go back to pick up part of our order that they didn't include in our bag. I could understand the oversight if it were a busy weekend night, but this was a Thursday night.
