I love Saigon. I've been dining here since moving to Utah in 2015. This is your traditional Chinese place. Nothing fancy, just a ton of flavors from some of their dishes. I order two things here every time: spicy Singapore noodles and the sweet and sour special combination. So much food with great pricing! Don't let any negative reviews scare you from trying Saigon.

Beef Flat Noodle Broccoli with Beef

It was overall a pretty good experience. We loved the Beef Flat Noodle, as well as the egg rolls. However, we ordered the broccoli beef and it was flat out disgusting. It tasted like old fish which is odd given that it's basically just beef and broccoli. It was bad enough that my wife couldn't eat more than one piece of broccoli. I tried to muscle through it but only ate a couple bites. Felt bad to waste the food but it was frankly horrendous. I would recommend eating here still, but definitely stray away from the broccoli beef.

"Hole in the Wall" restaurant worth finding!

When my son told me he was taking me to his new favorite Asian restaurant, I had no idea that I would be taking a trip down memory lane. My very first job was when I was eleven, washing dishes at my dad's newly opened Chinese & American restaurant, The Rickshaw in St. George Utah. Call me biased, but I have not met its equal in 30 years. I ordered what was a staple at The Rickshaw, Chicken Chow Mien, Ham Fried Rice and an Egg Roll. As I took my first bite, I was thrown back in time! The taste and texture took me home. However, my dad's egg rolls still have not met it's match (he had a secret ingredient). The portion size was amazing for the price. My other boys got to try a little bit of Grandpa's cooking! I highly recommend Saigon Cafe (named after "Little Saigon" in Hong Kong). Your food will be prepared by a Chinese chef from Hong Kong. Enjoy! This was the kind of food I grew up with. Delicious In memory of my dad, Jon Jon 2001

Great food for a reasonable price. The General Pso chicken and sesame chicken are both amazing.

My picky daughter loved her food. Many of us thought it was too salty. That atmosphere and service were great.

Ask the Community - Saigon Cafe

What's the difference between lo mein and chow mein?

Lo mein are soft noodles and chow mein are crunchy noodles. The more American Chinese places like Panda Express tend to call soft noodles chow mein when lo mein is the more correct wording.

My wife wanted the pork belly pho, which didn't make sense to me. I wasn't sure what I wanted because I wasn't sure what they specialized in and wanted to hear them speak before ordering. When I heard the hostess/waitress speak to me in Mandarin after entering the restaurant, I immediately knew I would order their beef noodle soup. After waiting a few minutes, I paid and left with my food. The noodles were better than I expected for the Orem area. My wife enjoyed her pork belly pho. It was more of a Chinese pork belly rice noodle than a pho like at a Vietnamese restaurant. My beef noodle soup was a hearty beefy bowl of noodles. Both of the noodle soups were perfect for a cold night. The price was very reasonable, cheaper than anything I can get in California. It was a good meal. Brothers Hotpot...I don't think they have hotpot here. But, they make some pretty good noodles at a reasonable prcie.
