Nov 30-this place just opened 3 days ago so they are still working out the kink's on the flow of things. Came in for dinner with 3 family members, waited awhile for the waitress to come over. We all ordered different Chinese Dinners which comes with rice, a spring role, soup and your main dish. My dish was the sweet & sour chicken. The flavor was good, however it should have had pineapple chucks, bell pepper & onions in it for the counter balance of for the sweet & sour. My father ordered the orange chicken which had these items. He is a local and said it was very good as they don't the current place they go to. This place has a Sushi bar and I saw some of the amazing rolls coming out of the kitchen a better place. After they figure out the flow they place will be hopping even more then the liquor license is approved in 3 weeks. I will be back!

Sushi rolls were great!

Great food, friendly staff, but limited dining area. Ordering out is the key for this establishment.

Really wanted to like this place, but as others have noted the service isn't good. Food is ok, but there are better options in the area.

The egg drop soup and the hot and sour soup were both wonderful. We've gone twice now and greatly enjoyed the food both times.

Good food, worst service I've ever had. Never left a bad review in my life, but it needs to be said...

In terms of attire, it's a mixed bag as with other places here.. we were pretty casual but some were dressed up a bit more. Our server was wonderful, and the food and drink was phenomenal. This was, hands down, the best meal we had in Park City. We started with cocktails. The gin cocktail I had was the perfect combination of floral and citrus and left me wanting more. My husband enjoyed his as well. The wine menu here is insanely overpriced, so next time I'd ask the corkage fee to consider bringing our own bottle. They brought out a bread that was cooked with a Japanese seasoning on it and a side of butter, and it was delicious. The bison was the best thing we ate; incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, if we lived here we would be back often for this. The elk was very good as well, with fresh herbs that helped bring out the flavor. Can't go wrong with either of these dishes but the bison was the star to us. My daughter ordered the kids pasta with butter and parm, and my son ordered the kids chicken fingers which came with potato wedges. Both were a good portion for children. For the sides, we ordered the Japanese sweet potatoes and the fried rice. The sweet potatoes were something different and were tasty but not our favorite or something we would order again. The fried rice with egg was delicious; it was full of sliced garlic and amazingly seasoned, we could not help but finish it all. At the time of the check, our server offered cotton candy for the kids. It was very flavorful and soft. It was a nice finishing touch. We'll definitely be booking this restaurant for our next trip to Park City.

I recently dined at KITA and overall had a fun and flavorful experience…read more We started with the Firecracker roll, which was excellent. The spicy tuna on top was really flavorful and well balanced, bringing just the right amount of heat without overpowering the dish. The miso soup was also a pleasant surprise -- the portion size was generous and perfect for sharing. It was warm, comforting, and a great start to the meal. We also ordered the karaage. Unfortunately, this was the weakest dish for me. The chicken itself didn't have much flavor, and if it weren't for the dipping sauce it would have been quite bland. It was also made with dark meat, which I'm personally not a big fan of. The hamachi nigiri was fantastic. The fish tasted incredibly fresh and clean, and the simplicity of the dish really let the quality of the hamachi shine. Another standout was the Wasatch roll -- a true dynamite roll with lots of flavor and fresh hamachi. Every bite had great texture and balance. To end the meal, everyone was given a small bowl of cotton candy, which was a fun and unexpected touch. I hadn't had cotton candy in years, and it was a playful way to finish the night. Overall, there were some great highlights, especially the sushi and fresh fish, and the experience had a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.

Very disappointed in tonight's service. Sat at the grill within 5 minutes of entering. Great! But…read morethe server never came around to get our drink order. A gentleman finally got up to go strike a match under someone's year end. The young female server comes over half grumpily with a slight wannabe smile, and takes our drink order. She brings most of the drinks fairly quickly. But doesn't even attempt to ask if we're ready to order and we've been there 25ish minutes waiting?! The grill across from us got sat after us and by the time she came back to see if we were ready to order, they were done with the show and eating. *InsertEyeRoll*. She took our orders, repeating them and went on her way and shortly returned with our soup and salad. A few more minutes go by just barely before our cook shows up. He gets asking about everyone's orders and meat preference. Awesome. He starts his show, as always... scrambled eggs and rice first right?! Unfortunately, out of 8 of us 7 ordered fried rice, one steamed. Server brought out steamed rice to the one, and cook dishes out 5 bowls of fried rice. Two of us question where our rice was. So they have to prep and cook in the kitchen. Like WTAF?! But whatever... Cook was good, but not overly funny. He didn't even use the funny oil peeing boy (IYKYK) which my 9yo old always gets excited about. Food was cooked just right IMO but server never came back to refill drinks or see if we needed anything. They don't have yum yum sauce it's something much runnier which was disappointing. After the cook was done, they were practically rushing us out, by picking up plates, offering boxes, and setting new clean dishwater near the grill. I'm glad that they are efficient, but where's my server? Where's my water & wine refill? For a Friday evening and NOT very busy, I was really bummed for how horrible our experience and service was. This is one of the best teppanyaki restaurants around. This server didn't do her job and our last 5 star experience turned to a 3 star and was underwhelming sadly.

Not feeling like sushi and big fans of tonkasu and ramen, we decided to order those two items. The ramen and the tonkasu came out with decent presentation, but that's where it ends. My tonkasu instead of a decent piece of cutlet, it was a sliver of meat as thin as a piece of cardboard fried to the point of it turned to a piece of jerky. I did complain to the server and they replaced it with another small sliver of meat but better cooked. There were not much vegetables with the meal, some sautéed bell peppers and onions drowned in soy sauce, and a small scoop of rice that is hard. $15.90. The ramen was nothing special, not even sure if they actually made the broth themselves, but when you marinated Hard boiled eggs in soy sauce for however long with the well cooked yolk soaked in the soy sauce, they are just salty, and the piece of egg we got was exactly that, we also got three slices of uncooked fish cakes that came straight from the package, sliced, cold and in the bowl. $14.50. The ambiance is modern and clean, but I do wonder how a brand new restaurant's ventilation can be so bad that after the meal, we smelled like we were cooking in front of a fryer all day. Service was decent, there was only one server running the whole show. She was friendly but maybe overwhelmed, served us the appetizer without plates to eat on, asking if we needed forks and forgot to bring them when we said we would like to have forks. Maybe the great reviews are for the sushi? We are not going to go back to find out after today's experience though. One star for the decent service and one star for the veggie tempura which was the only thing we actually enjoyed. Why we finished our food? Because we were hungry and didn't think we'll get refund if we just leave the food untouched.
