This business is amazing, the food was well and the servers can see into the future. I ordered some of their mango cake to be delivered to my home, and deliver it they did. with a nice big side of one thousand napkins. I did not understand the reason for said napkins, and was annoyed at first... but fast forward to the next day, and it turns out i needed all one thousand napkins. I was defeated by a messy burger, but the napkins were able to revive and save me from a horrible and aweful fate doomed to being covered in ketchup. I thank each and every one of those thousand napkins, and i thank my psychic future-seeing server who provided me with those wondrous napkins. Food was decent. Food was good however shrimp was not devained, except for the honey walnut shrimp was. The food was good but a pretty small but solid selection, workers were kind and friendly and stayed on top of things and were patient, however no gloves and few people wore hairnets, poor fish up front the tank was too small for that many large fish :( but they were cool, didn't like the idol by the front desk but good luck finding any Asian place without one lol. We don't attend here very often because it isn't very clean and the food on the open banquet line isn't very good and is often dried out and looks quite unappealing. The service could be improved, The booths have not been very clean and have need of repairs. Because of the variety of better Asian places, we rarely ever go here any longer. The people don't seem to be very friendly but perhaps they are just comfortable with people. We can't say for sure. read more

Once upon a time OG served reasonably good - albeit sort of mediocre Americanized - food. We stopped going there several years ago because of a decline in quality. Went there last night and was disappointed, despite low expectations. My wife and I ordered kung pao beef and orange beef. Two very different dishes that somehow managed to taste nearly identical. The sauce on each was whitish, sweet, and very bland. Also ordered the cream cheese wontons. They were tough, a bit bland, and the sauce was mostly tasteless. Portion size was generous. A family friendly place. I really don't like to talk down anyone trying to make a living in the restaurant business in Utah county, but we won't be going back. Sorry guys. read more

I can't say I was impressed. The food was cheap which was nice, but my bag in my car wreaked of cigarettes. When you're going to eat that's the last thing you want to smell. The food was sub par as well. The rice was bland and the egg drop soup wasn't anything special. The lunch combo of the sweet and sour chicken was not my favorite. I love their buffet. It's moderately priced and the food quality is high. They've added so new shrimp dishes that are very tasty. Just about everything was top notch. My only suggestions are to redo the sweet and sour sauce and the orange chicken sauce. There is no sour to it! Real sweet and sour has ginger as an ingredient, but this has no flavor of ginger. The orange sauce doesn't taste like orange at all. I put these aside and devoured everything else. Also the waiter did not once offer to refill my water. In fact as I visited the buffet a second time I came back to my table to find the table cleared!? My water, soup, utensils were all gone! I asked the waiter and he had no idea what was going on... it was a different waiter too. Seriously pause a few minutes before clearing the tables! After eating here fir the first time as if this review, this becomes the best Chinese food restaurant I've found so far in the area. Restaurant is clean and simplistically decorated in the usual cultural artifacts you'd expect to find in a Chinese restaurant. We were greeted and seated almost immediately and given our menu. Found the selections well laid out and reasonably priced. We ordered cashew nut chicken, lo mein noodles and Kung Pao chicken with white rice and vegetable spring rolls. Server brought out a complimentary fried won ton strips with sweet and sour dipping sauce. We've barely finished our appetizer when dinner was served. Portions were beyond generous. The lomein noodles were delicious! Daughter loved her Kung Pao and we both enjoyed the cashew nut chicken. Very impressed with the generous portions of chicken included with the entrees. Sprind rolls were good rbut didn't care so much for the rice because it was served cold. Would have sent it back however our server did not check back with us and we could never get his attention. While eating I made a note of the special pricing on take-out as several customers came to pick up their orders. Love their dinner combination dishes, especially the Mongolian Chicken! The level of spiciness is perfect for my taste! Also, if you really want to have left overs to take home upgrade the ham fried rice for the low mein, it's definitely worth it! Tried the Kung Pao beef tonight and it delicious as well. What business doesn't have a listing on Yelp? There was a Salem and Nephi location, but not a Payson location listed. Probably because they didn't want bad reviews left... tough. It's like they didn't even take the effort to make it look appetizing - oh, and bytheway, my wife's food came out way before mine did. Pathetic. We love the Oriental Garden in Salem, so assumed this place would be just as good. Boy, were we wrong. Biggest complaint wad the almost non-existent service. We waited for drinks, we waited to give our order, we never got refills, we had to ask for to go boxes, we had to ask for check, which was never picked up and we had to go to front to pay. Food was overly salty, mom's shrimp dish had maybe 4 shrimp in it. So, lesson learned. Stick with the Salem Oriental Garden. Better on all counts. read more

We went there for lunch. While we were boxing up the leftovers we saw a mouse under the table running around. We got up without taking our food and told the man at the counter. He said, "oh its ok we are going to do new carpet. It will be better". And made us pay. He didnt care there were mice and acted like he already knew. So if mice are by the tables you know they are in the kitchen as well. I turned this in to the health department. Please come support this small business during Covid- they deserve it! The service was beyond excellent. Our server was super kind and accomodating, even though we had to change our order a couple times (indecisive eaters ). Great portion sizes! They are doing Covid- friendly dine-in (plastic barrier, disposable menus, utensils, and boxes that the food comes in). I suggest the potstickers- YUM. Food quality has gone down. We went there recently. I previously left a 5/5 review but something has changed. The sweet 'n sour chicken is over-cooked and not tender like it has been in the past. Also the egg spring rolls plus their pork spring rolls are over-cooked. We did not finish our food and did not take any home. Quite sad... because we liked it the 1st few times, but not anymore. We have been going here several times even before they had a Yelp listing. Very positive review. We always get the sweet 'n sour chicken, egg rolls, egg-drop soup, and spring rolls. Also the Mongolian beef and ham fried rice. I'm not really sold on the rice, but my daughter likes it. They are great. Absolutely NO complaints. The chicken never has gristle, yet. Not sure why others were having negative issues here. Nice friendly staff. Nice handicap access for us. I WOULD recommend this restaurant to others. No problem. Right off the freeway, too.
