What a let-down dining experience. I had higher expectations based on reviews and the recommendation from the hotel manager. But if this is the best that Springville has to offer, I'll be going to Provo or Spanish Fork for my next dinners. The atmosphere is pleasant, airy and light. The pan seared lightly battered halibut, $41, was as listed but the texture was like it had come out of the freezer and was dry. The sauteed asparagus was fine. Salad was a lot of iceberg and very little mixed greens. It took over 15 minutes to get my glass of wine. Apparently, only the manager can go downstairs to get the wine which is locked up in a room. And then when it did come, I had to bring it up to the server station and ask for it in a clean glass...smudges and wong lipstick color were the clues. Chocolate cake was fine, but not outstanding as other diners exclaim. Springville, you got to get your game up!

Aubrey is, without a doubt, the best server I've ever had! She was attentive, kind, considerate, and checked in on us at the perfect times. Props to her for working while pregnant, as well! We enjoyed the food so much. We got the charcuterie starter, some raspberry lemonade, and then I got the blackened salmon. Everything was delicious, the salmon was perfectly moist, and the flavors were incredible! We enjoyed our experience at Magleby's thoroughly and can't wait to come back.

My husband and I have been here twice now. We have enjoyed it both times. Great ambiance and great service. Everything we have ordered we have really enjoyed. The food is very flavorful and filling.

We love coming to Maglebys! Their rolls are incredible and they'll bring you more if asked. Our food was high quality and the staff was very helpful. My only complaint is that I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and I don't think the noodles were strained well enough. The sauce was great but underneath the noodles there was a puddle of water. I'm still giving them 4 stars though because other than that the food really was delicious!

My family loves Magleby's! We love their ambience, their service, their food and their desserts! It's in a cute part of town. Parking is always available. Everything we order there is delicious! They even have entertainment. We enjoyed listening to the violinist, Derek Xia! When we go to Provo to visit our daughters in college , we go to Magleby's each time!

Magelby's is pretty hit or miss for me. Breakfast is ALWAYS a hit. Dinner is what's a potential miss. The wedge salad was so yummy and I wish I had gotten a full size for dinner because that would have been perfect. I also had the Alfredo which was pretty watery and not super flavorful unfortunately. The steak was good and mashed potatoes are impossible to mess up. As far as desserts go the Chocolate cake was by far the best! Service is pretty good especially for how busy they get. The ambiance is fun and a little more dressy.

We came for Breakfast, and this was my first time here and my wife's first time since she was little. We had the French Toast and she absolutely loved it. It was pretty good, but I prefer Kneaders French Toast over these ones. Y'all have to come try it for yourselves for sure. It's a nice restaurant to come sit down and enjoy a meal, it feels very at-home. They waitress was super nice and we loved her. She was kind to our daughter and was patient with us. Great experience overall!

Stopped in finally to try their end of the month seafood buffet. The food was great, but I don't feel like it was worth the $60/person. The staff were attentive and kind, and the platters with the food were constantly being replaced and restocked. Magelby's has an interesting decor. It's a nicer sit down, but I can't quite put me finger on what the theme actually is. I recommend sticking to the normal, non-buffet days of you want to visit Z

We arrived to a busy restaurant and even without a reservation for a table of 6, they were able to promptly seat us. Our server was on point offering recommendations and making sure our entire experience was good. We had a variety of food ordered from salads, seafood pasta, sandwiches and chicken. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was moist and flavorful - a good portion to fill my belly. It came with the option of soup or salad and served with steamed veggies. The veggies appeared to be fresh rather than the frozen ones many other places serve. Overall it was a great dining experience with good food, good service and a good atmosphere where we could easily converse and enjoy a dinner out with our group.

    Ribeye

For being on a higher end restaurant, the food was a tad bit short of being great. The ribeye was slightly over cooked on the medium request, but the flavoring was burnt a bit, it was difficult to adjust to what they were achieving for taste. I'm a big beef fan but was not a fan of the ribeye. Maybe the prime rib would've been a better choice for like flavoring . The potatoes on the side was a bit large and underwhelming, needed a bit more salt as it felt plainly boiled. The halibut was well cooked and flavored, needed more than a single wedge of lemon due to the abundance of almonds, absorbing the juice, but the batter was flavored well and light as it should be. Tartar sauce was average sauce, nothing spectacular but I barely dabbed my halibut in it. Rice pilaf was good and nothing out of the ordinary, paired well with the halibut . The desert was the best tasting, perfectly burnted topped sugar and crème brûlée was a perfect ending to the underwhelming entree unfortunately. Their bread was cooked well, flavored well, and wish it had a tad bit more to offer as far as offerings, waited for the 2nd serving but never came, which was a disappointment because it was really good. The ambience was nice, high ceilings, good soft music, a lot going on with decoration to keep your eyes busy but it was modernly refreshed with a tad bit of Romanian era. Service was highly professional to add, although 15 min wait time was a bit of a frustration but they did waiting 7-8 mins in to inform me they were going to serve us. The restaurant was about 30-40-% capacity. But overall attitude was definitely on the higher end of hospitality and professionalism. Well trained staff with a senior looking over them seems to be working well. Maybe would come back to try other items on the menu if I was we back in springville. It's a honest 3.8 stars to be fair.

Akra as the appetizer, it's a like a fritter or hush puppy made of yucca and yautia, super flavorful with a hint of spice. It comes with a tangy slaw on the side, almost a pickled flavor. I was a fan of this. There were wings and these patties that are like meat pies I wanted to order but I'll have to come back to try them next time. For my entree I got the fried goat. It comes with beans and rice and a sauce on the side. The goat was tender and oh so flavorful. Those beans and rice were rich and tasty. The beans were a bigger white bean, not the rice and beans you're thinking. Exceptional service and hospitality, I recommend giving them a try if you're in the area

I was able to park out front pretty easy but backing out onto the busy street was not my favorite thing to do in the dark. There is some parking past the light on the right, I wish I knew that beforehand. The little building is chock full of charm, definitely one of those hole in the wall places that has been around forever. That being said, I didn't find their menu easy to read. It was all over the place and when I looked it up online, it was better but still kind of hard. To order, one of the girls waves you over to one of two windows and takes your order, but doesn't have you pay immediately and when you do get to pay, you don't see the card being charged right in front of you, it's whisked away to the back. So you awkwardly wait around until she calls you over with a very polite "hey you". She will then give you your items one by one as they are ready. So while one person finishes their shake, the next one starts on theirs and if you order fries, it's going to take an extra 30 minutes of waiting out in whatever weather. But they do have white sauce, so that is a point in their favor! I was excited to have my guy try this place and he didn't think it was all that great and I had to agree with him. Our food was fine.
