My absolute favorite lunch spot in Utah county!! I love it so much. I come here often with my mom and sister. Who am I kidding I also bring my husband and kids ALL THE TIME. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Molly's is consistent!! Let me tell you how difficult that is to obtain for a restaurant. The service, flavor and quality is always spot on. Only open for lunch Wed-Friday with Grandmas home cooking style food. I always come on Friday for the ribs, they are fantastic I get the mashed potatoes with white gravy and pasta salad as my sides. My mother loves the French chicken, and pear salad, my sister the Wednesday special enchiladas and my husband the brisket or turkey. The chocolate cake and lemon cake are Devine as well!!! Had lunch on a work trip. I had the Turkey Meatloaf (with Mushroom Gravy on top, recommended by the counter-staff), mashed yams and the Pear and Gorgonzola Salad. I sat outside and other than a bee everything was great. The gravy on the meatloaf was a game changer and the salad was delightful and light. Probably a 3 or 3.5 but four stars for nostalgia. It's basically old fashioned cafeteria food, which isn't a bad thing as long as you go in with that expectation. The mashed potatoes and gravy are tasty, and the couple of mains I've tried were good. I was disappointed in the one dessert we ordered, but I would give a different one another try. It's pretty busy and a little noisy, so not a great place for a group unless it's nice weather and you can snag tables outside. read more

Another delicious visit to Molly's, this time on Thursday so we could try the chicken pot pie. We went early because they ran out the last time we tried to get chicken pot pies. There was already a line shortly after 11, but I called in my order to go and everything was ready in about 10 minutes. The chicken pot pie is delicious, as were the sides: mashed potatoes with French gravy, corn, and spinach salad (one side is included). The serving sizes are generous and I'm glad the pot pies are in a tin so they're easy to reheat in the oven. MOLLY's!!! Oh my gosh I get a little misty just thinking about this place - it's THAT good! The vibe is mom's good old home cooking and specials rotate daily. I'm a sucker for their chicken pot pies but that's a Thursday special and we went on a different day. Their French Chicken is tender and the gravy is to die for. If the stars align and they have their sugar cookies, buy at least two. These cookies won a blind taste off done by me and my foodie friends. The vote was unanimous. Molly's cookies are the cookie to beat. Their hours are kind of the worst, so beware. But it's worth it to catch them!! They're not open Mondays. Period. For a cafeteria style restaurant this place is fantastic. The food is good, and what it can sometimes lack in terms of flavor or complexity is more than made up for by the home made characteristics of the food. Really does feel like eating a home cooked meal. Prices were reasonable. But even above the tasty food was the service. SO DELICIOUS! I just ate here for the first time today after driving by. The line was about 15 people long but I didnt mind waiting because the food smelled amazing! I wish this place would have more opening hours! As I came for dinner on a Friday night, there was a relatively long line. I would recommend coming earlier during dinner hours to get in line and grab a seat, as there is a 'no saving seats' policy! The brisket here is my favourite. However, all the meats are all super juicy and well-cooked. I also love the cheese bread that they offer as a selection with your entree and 2 sides! Wow. So we had a friend from out of state order us food. We've been in the area for about 6 years and have never been here before. How?? The food here was delicious! The brisket was surprisingly tasty with barely any bbq sauce, the pot roast was so tender and the carrots cooked perfectly with it. Their tomato bisque was very tasty, and we loved their flaky bread. But above all else, their chocolate cake and bread pudding were out of this world. Now we didn't order so it's possible I may have some of these items described incorrectly but bottom line, you've got to try this place out. They have done in but I can vouch for their to-go. Food: I ordered 3 entrees! 1) The 24hr Smoked Beef Brisket with baked beans, Dutch Oven Potatoes, and a Cheddar Biscuit. 2) Grilled Chicken, with Dutch Oven Potatoes, and a Ceasar Salad. 3) Chicken Pot Pie with green beans. I don't even deny that I can eat monstrous amount when at Molly's! So, the Beef Brisket is seriously delicious, it just melts in your mouth! Then the Chicken Pot Pie well done! I was only disappointed that the filling sat in an aluminum dish with a single layer to top it. However, flavor-wise it was wonderful. The grilled chicken was good but I like the Brisket more. Also, the baked beans, potatoes, green beans, and cheddar biscuit were just perfect. Location: Apparently Molly runs a successful catering business and doesn't need a restaurant to pay the bills. And only a successful businesswoman needs to be open for 3 hours, 4 days a week! I love Molly's! I guarantee you will never be disappointed when you come here! I want to get a few of my concerns that are knocking Molly's down 1 star out of the way so I can talk about how awesome it is. First of all, parking can be quite atrocious sometimes. Molly's is just off of a deceivingly busy street and if you can't find a spot right off the road in front of the restaurant, you probably won't be able to find one. When I went today I had to make up my own parking spot in the lot in back. Second, they need to rework the layout in the restaurant a little bit. The problem is that there is only one entrance in the middle of the line to get back behind the counter, so employees are always having to go to and from the kitchen carrying trays and dishes through a very high traffic area of the restaurant. Since Molly's is consistently busy, this is especially inconvenient. Besides those few minor things, Molly's is pretty darn near perfect. It is comfort food served cafeteria style. It will taste just like Grandma's famous recipes on a Sunday afternoon. You can't really find anything like this in Utah county. There isn't a bad choice on the menu, but I usually get the Carolina pulled pork. So good! My very favorite thing I have ever had here is the pomegranate chicken. Definitely recommend that! This is the perfect lunch spot to stop by with the people you love most and enjoy a meal together. I will definitely be coming back soon! read more
