I've only had takeout here, and not dined-in. The food is fabulous! My favorites are the chile verde burritos and the nachos, but that's because I'm more of a creature of habit. Everything is really good. The nachos are big and shareable. The chile verde burritos are made with tender cubes of slow-cooked pork, with the right amount of heat. One burrito with rice and beans will last for at least two meals for me. Takeout service is awesome! read more

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent value!!! This is probably the best Mexican food in Orem!!! Food is absolutely delicious, the shredded beef is perfectly juicy and flavored! My sister got the chalupas (mini taco salads) and they were incredible. My combination place was so tasty too. Their rice and beans are absolute perfection. On top of that, service was phenomenal! Raphael was top notch! I'm shocked they aren't rated higher, we had a great experience and are very very satisfied with our food! My mom compares her experience here like a Disney experience! I admit the place brings its own one of a kind experience. The decorations, the staff, the paintings, it is very well done. This place is taken care of very well and the place is always clean. My chimichanga was delightful! The presentation would've won first prize in a beauty pageant! I loved the wombo combo of flavors this plate brought to my taste buds. I downed this food like it was my last dish! The salsas were amazing and they brought life to each plate! My only complaint is that the staff couldn't keep up with the rush of people! We were seated but had to wait a while to get drinks and to take our orders, we waited longer for refills. I don't know if they were short staffed or what but that's how it was! The menu is really big and some of their items are a hit and miss so you do not know if you're getting something really delicious or not (it's not my first time here). This time I tried the supreme burrito with shredded chicken and it was terrible. The chicken was flavorless and the contents of the burrito were terrible. The guacamole wasn't good either and extremely overpriced. The service was fantastic Rafa took extremely good care of our large party. Their tip calculation on the receipt is wrong, but unlike other companies they aren't taking advantage. The 20% suggested tip was actually cheaper than it should have been. I did try some of the shrimp nachos someone else ordered and the shrimp was great. I would order shrimp or the wings next time and stay away from anything with shredded chicken or beef. read more

This is (and has been) my family's favorite Mexican restaurant for years. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and attentive, even when they're busy (which is always cuz they're great) The place is always clean, the music is fun and overall it's a great experience. They are good for groups (if you let them know in advance, they're even better) and if they're fully booked, they have a nice area to wait until tables are ready. The specials are very well priced and if you leave hungry, it's your own fault, the portions are definitely on the larger side. We love their chimis (pork is our favorite and it's always moist and flavorful), their nachos, enchiladas, tostadas, burritos and their tacos. Their guacamole is divine and we can't ever go without ordering a side of it for the chips and salsa they bring. If you're in a rush, you can call and get an order to go as well. I come to this place as often as I can since I just can't get enough. The enchiladas de mole are absolutely delicious and generally the food does not disappoint. The service is great. The salsa and chips were fresh and yummy! I wanted a gluten free ground beef taco and called ahead and asked about options- they were helpful but had two menus which was confusing because pricing was different and it was hard to read the tiny green dots that highlighted the options. My boyfriend ordered a cheese enchilada with beans on the side and loved his meal, mine showed up and I bit into it and it was shredded beef and super greasy and tasted like lime juice and the shell was oily. It was gross, when I asked our server (Kevin who was awesome by the way) about the ground beef he informed me they don't even serve the ground beef as an option only shredded pork, beef and chicken. I was super disappointed because we wanted to find a new favorite spot we can both enjoy with my allergy. My son and daughter in law love this place so we decided to check it out. First off, we loved the ambiance and atmosphere. The walls and flags hanging from the ceiling are really fun! We enjoyed the free chips and salsa that they provide for every table. Unfortunately they didn't bring any water out until about 10 minutes later so I almost choked a few times on either a chip or the spice from the salsa. We ordered the Al pastor nachos, the 3 meat fajitas, the supreme burrito and the Al pastor quesadillas. When they brought out my nachos I about died! They are HUGE! I only ate not even a fourth of the plate and I couldn't eat anymore. I really liked them though. There was plenty of meat on there and I loved the guacamole and pico. If I ordered it again though I'd get a different meat. There were several times I had big pieces of fat that I had to spit out which is always stressful when you're eating in a group. The quesadilla was really good and had lots of flavor! The supreme burrito was good but nothing special. The fajitas were pretty good. My husband didn't like that they cook tomatoes along with the vegetables because it released the juices onto the plate, and the vegetables didn't get a good char that he loves. We have Mi Ranchito's Monday's for a reason. The service is incredibly fast. The menu is absolutely massive, so everyone can get something that they love. A group of us often goes on a weekly basis for working lunch meetings. It is such a great place to get in fill up, get some work done, have a laugh and get out to the rest of the day. The daily specials are a great option, but on your first visit I would recommend taking a few extra minutes and diving deep into the menu to find your new favorite dish. read more

I am writing this review after being bed ridden for over 48 hours after eating a salad from here. I'm not even exaggerating. I wish I was. I've had food posioning through the years but never this bad and never for so long. But besides a piece of buttered toast for breakfast, the salad was all I ate that day so I know it has to be the culprit. I used to enjoy going here but I truly don't think I can stomach it again. I know finding employees is challenging but please please please make sure they are trained on proper food safely.
