    Salmon Taco

What an amazing experience. Not only is the staff incredible but BOY will your taste buds be dancing a happy dance. The salmon taco was incredible- a journey with every bite. Steak taco was yummy but beware of spice. (; Queso was a fan favorite! Highly recommend by the whole group. The fruit salad was another appetizer favorite by all 7 individuals in our group. THE CHURROS. Please pause for a moment of silence for this heavenly desert... Get it to share and see everyone light up! Finally, we had a chance to talk with the owner and hear his story. It's a beautiful restaurant where you will also be supporting a family with a beautiful heart and vision. Enjoy! Hope to see you there.

Fruta: the combinations were sweet with tart and it worked incredibly well! The green apples were cut in such a fun way!

The first Saturday of every month they do a brunch. We did not know what was on the menu, but we were pleasantly surprised. The chef is unbelievable, it's five stars every time we come. My youngest son ordered a quesadilla, the fresh tortilla combo with the rock salt was especially delicious. Not sure anything can beat the churros though!

This pace is small, run by father and son and super yummy. Service is great. But the food is so flavorful and the owner just kept bring us new dishes to try. Soooo good! It's really small, like maybe 10 tables, but it's good.

First time trying Oteo and it did not disappoint! The parking lot is very small and we actually had to park across the street and walk over. The restaurant itself is small, quiet, and minimal. However, it's creates a nice intimate environment which I enjoyed. We started with the queso and it was absolutely delicious. It was so creamy and the jalapeños were a great addition to have some spice. The corn tortillas tasted homemade and I loved how you spin the cheese and put it into your tortilla. Would definitely get that every single time. I ordered the tacos. I got one salmon and one beef. The beef is advertised on the menu as a hangar steak and cooked medium rare. I will say, although the tortilla and the jalapeños were good for the taco, the beef itself was disappointing. It was chewy and cooked more like medium well. Didn't seem like the best quality either. There wasn't much pink at all in the meat. Some bites were flavorful and seasoned well and other bites had no flavor. I have to say, I was expecting a lot better - especially because our waitress said that was the best one. In my opinion, there also needed to be some type of sauce. The taco, likely due to the meat, was dry. The tortilla was delicious though. The salmon taco was the saving grace for the steak taco. It was a big piece of salmon and had amazing flavor. It was cooked perfectly. The sauces were creamy and delicious and all of the flavors complimented the fish very well. I would definitely order this again. I was very impressed. The service was really good too and they made sure to refill our drinks throughout our meal. I will definitely be back here for the queso and the salmon taco. I would like to try the shrimp taco as well. Pass on the steak taco. There's better in the valley.

Stopped by when we had a taco craving, turns they're doing a Saturday brunch prix fixe for $30 so we decided to stay. It was fabulous!! Fresh, interesting flavors and beautiful presentation. Coffee or some other drinks would be the icing on the cake. We will absolutely be back for another meal!

I love the small, intimate, cozy ambiance of this restaurant in residential Lindon. The service is friendly and quick. The flavors are unique and contrasting. I love the presentation of the food, so colorful. Their queso dip is the best I've had, and the tortillas are thick and taste homemade. I've been here 3 times now, and I've been happy with my experience every time. Fresh, filling, and flavorful!

This was pretty tasty! I enjoyed the beef Molote. The beef was well cooked and the fried masa base was really good. We shared the queso and then shared churros and flan, all of which were good. Churros were fresh, warm, and doughy. The queso had a very unique taste and we all liked it. My only issue is it's a very small space and the waitress hovered a lot and we felt rushed, haha. But we overall had a good experience.

I have been here three times and have tried three different entrees. They have all been delicious and perfectly cooked. They also have wonderful service. I loved that they brought my toddler a quesadilla right away to help her stay occupied and happy. This is a small restaurant with a small parking lot, but they make up for it with big flavor and great customer service. It is very clean and well decorated. Very cozy and intimate. I recommend it to everyone!

Did the location change? Or are they closed? Came at 6:45 on a Tuesday and they were closed. No answer when we tried to call.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Alejandra in particular was amazing -- she made us feel right at home and took great care of us. The restaurant itself is spotless. You'd swear it was brand new. The booths are comfortable, the custom chairs are a nice touch, and it's clear the owners take real pride in the place. Everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully put together. The salsa and chips were on point -- perfectly seasoned and addictive. I tried pozole for the first time, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, the pork was tender, and the hominy was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered her go-to Enchiladas Suizas and said they were very good -- she was impressed. I went with the Chile Verde Burrito and a beef taco. Both were tasty, well-seasoned, and satisfying. My last review could all be wrapped up when I asked for a Mexican hot sauce and they brought Tabasco. Everything was wrong. While the food is still geared to the local palate. The atmosphere and menu feel true to the culture, and it's refreshing to find a place that doesn't overly Americanize the cuisine. Many of the dishes capture that homemade, authentic quality that fans of traditional Mexican food will appreciate. That said, the experience wasn't perfect. The wait time was quite long, even when the restaurant didn't appear extremely busy, which made the visit feel a bit drawn out. Additionally, while the food was flavorful and authentic, some of the dishes came out a bit on the dry side. Another consideration is the price. While the quality and authenticity are good, the prices are noticeably high compared to other Mexican restaurants offering similar dishes. Overall, Maria Bonita is a solid choice if you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine and don't mind paying a premium. With a few improvements to service speed and food moisture/texture, it could easily be a five-star experience.
