The breakfast burritos here are awesome. I'm a big betos and ranchoritos guy but those places don't make their burritos fresh, this place does. The rolled tacos here are also excellent. Service is pretty slow but the food is also pretty fresh so the trade off is fine for me. Ambiance is fine. It's a fast food Mexican place so relax a little. It's clean. read more

Find somewhere else to get some Mexican food! HORRIBLE service! Online shows that they are open till 11pm, so we head over there around 9:30.... Sign on the door says the close at 10pm.... Try the door at 9:45, door is locked, lights are on. So we go through the drive through and the guy says, "we close at 10 but we lock the door at 9:45 to clean." Told him that we'll be find somewhere else to get Mexican food. With an exceptional attitude the guys says "bye" and closes the window. Highly recommend you find somewhere else to get Mexican food. This place doesn't deserve my business. read more

decent food but they often get your order wrong and they have poor drive thru customer service

We went through the drive through to pick up some breakfast burritos, and the service was quick! The burritos are a decent size, and under $10, and they had lots of flavor. I especially love the salsa verde - has a nice kick to it, but still lots of flavor too! Yum! read more

DosPotrillos - Bacon breakfast burrito - Mexican Near Me - Saratoga Springs, Utah

Great breakfast burrito that was not dominated by potatoes. Flavor wasn't anything special but much better balance than others nearby.

The food and service at this place are absolutely terrible. The drive-thru attendant had an attitude about anything I asked regarding the food/menu. Their strawberry horchata drink tastes like Fabuloso, and the food is even worse. It's like a worse version of Beto's, with boiled steak and shrimp that are neither tender nor tasty. I would never return to this place. read more

My hubby happened upon this place a few weeks ago, and I tried his carne asada fries which were really good. Came back this past week for take out. Ordered the carne asada fries and they were really good. Very filing! Enough for a two person meal. I also got a bean and cheese burrito which was pretty good sized. The beans were grey which I don't think I've ever seen, and it needed more cheese IMO but it was good. My husband must have liked is chimichanga cause he scarfed it down and I didn't hear any complaints. lol. The gentleman who served us was friendly & helpful. They have a salsa bar. A few of the salsas looked frothy and I avoided those. I think others did too based on how full it was. I wish they had some type of lids on them tho, if we're on ice. The older I get the more weirded out I get by germs and things that go bad when not properly stored. The place was busy and isn't overly big. There is a drive thru tho. So looking forward to trying some new things next time. read more

Ok, let me be real - this place is good. I would eat here again. I wouldn't say it's fantastic, but the tacos were pretty good. Carne asada taco - 6/10 - I enjoyed it, but it felt like they had made the meat much earlier and reheated it for my taco. I don't know that I wouldn't get it again, but I ate the whole thing. Shredded Beef Taco - 9/10 - Now I would come back for this! Probably the best shredded beef taco I've had here in Utah. I loved how the shell was cooked. It was light and fried, but not hard and super crispy like they left it in too long. I could eat these tacos every day. Very tasty. Verde Salsa - 9/10 - alright, I have struggled to find good salsa in Utah. This has good heat and fantastic flavor. Without burning you into oblivion. Well done! I'd definitely say try it. I enjoyed the experience and it's always good to have another restaurant in Saratoga Springs!!! read more

This place is clean and has friendly staff. I have been there several times and have enjoyed their Food. Their prices are very reasonable and the quantity and quality is normally good Today i ordered 2 crispy chicken tacos The meat is soaked in red chile sauce like an enchilada sauce. Just a bit spicy. The problem is that the meat/chicken was terribly salty. It was not edible. I removed the meat and ate only the shell and tiny bit of lettuce and cheese. I recommend that the cook taste the salt content of the meat. I have had a breakfast burrito and carne asada torta in the past and both were very good. I may try their food again but definitely not their chicken tacos or chicken with red chile. read more

DosPotrillos is my new favorite fast Mexican food joint! The manager is very friendly and welcoming with great recommendations. We have been here twice now and were so with happy both experiences. The inside is fresh and clean with a good amount of seats. The fresh salsa bar has four wonderful flavors to choose from. I LOVE all but the avocado salsa is my top favorite! Our first visit I ordered the carne asada fries. The meat was flavorful and tender while the fries were crisp yet soft on the inside. My husband ordered the street tacos which he enjoyed so much that we came back this week to order more! This time we ordered carnitas which were tender, salty (in the best way), and probably one of my favorites. The carne asada is always tender and probably the best choice for those who don't like to explore new foods. The pastor is so good! The little chunks of pineapple add just the right amount of sweetness to help balance the expected greasiness of the meat. Lastly, we tried the lengua. While I'm sure it's not everyone's first choice, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it! The meat was juicy and packed with wonderful flavor. The portions are pretty large in my opinion, to where I can have leftovers later if I choose not to stuff my face while there because it's that good We are very impressed with DosPotrillos and will continue to be recurring customers. read more

The Service: Above & Beyond! The lady who served us was kind, attentive, and quick with her customer service skills. She was available to answer any questions we had about the menu and even went above and beyond to inform us of what we could find on the menu to our liking. The food: 1. A carne asada burrito, w/ side of rice and beans, and a horchata. My boyfriend says it was delicious, filling and exactly what he needed. 2. We shared an order of Chips & guacamole, the texture of the guacamole was creamy and between thick and thin. The flavor was on point and the amount was generous considering the price. 3. Dos Potrillos burrito, I was extremely impressed. The size of the burrito was way more than I expected, full of meat, had the perfect amount of guacamole and cheese ratio, and everything within it was perfectly cooked. The meats were juicy and the potatoes weren't under cooked or overcooked. Very flavorful even before I added the hottest sauce they had to offer. I ordered a Hibiscus Flower drink which I have to say was one of the best I've ever had in my life! It's a favorite of mine, so I can be pretty picky about it, but I could come back just for the drink if I weren't hungry. The restaurant itself: 1. The pricing to food ratio is worth it, they aren't crazy expensive and definitely give you your moneys worth. Expect to spend at least $30 for two people. 2. They offer a variety of items on the menu, many drink options, and the sauce bar is worth checking out. 3. Very clean and smelt like it's upkeep is done properly 4. They don't have music playing, but that's okay because it gives you the ability to have a conversation without having to yell at each other. 5. Even being there with other groups of people it was quiet and a peaceful environment to sit and relax while eating. 6. Surprised! The bathroom didn't even smell like a bathroom it was extremely clean and I felt comfortable being able to use a public restroom. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food I highly recommend this restaurant! Even if you don't like Mexican food I feel this restaurant would change your mind. I would eat here everyday if I could. read more

Leaving a bad review for something very specific. I always order the Camaron burrito. This word is very hard for my white Jewish husband to say/pronounce. When he has tried to order the Camaron burrito he struggles so much to say that word that the person taking the order hasn't even been able to understand him (this is over several different visits). I let my husband know the direct translation of that word is "shrimp" so it is not such a struggle to order. This place has a major defect on their menu where a "shrimp burrito" is apparently a completely different burrito than a "camaron burrito." I called them to ask for a replacement because I can't eat eggs and explained we said "shrimp" because that word is the same as Camaron but translated. I ordered two of these. I had to throw them away because they would not exchange them. They said they've never had a problem with this confusion before. They should consider that can and will be a possibility. They are Hispanic severs speaking Spanish and should be aware that some people can't pronounce some Spanish words and may translate them instead. I'm upset that I wasted my money on a place that we used to like and now I have to disavow because they wouldn't replace the order. The hours listed for a Sunday online also say they're open till 11pm. They claim they close at 9pm now and are trying to change what it states online. This review is being left because they would not rectify the issue or acknowledge how this menu item could be confusing. read more

What a great first experience at Dos Potrillos! My wife and I tried this new place out after not being thrilled with the Mexican food options locally and were glad we did. This place has flavors just like our favorite spots in California! Amazing beef hard tacos and the refried beans tasted amazing. We've learned that not everyone can make good refried beans but Do Potrillos definitely does. We also had the crunchy bean and cheese burritos which were also really really good. We will definitely be coming back to Dos Potrillos as it is EASILY the best Mexican food in the Saratoga area! Do yourself a favor and try it out! read more

Outstanding Mexican Food - My Favorite Local Spot This is by far the best Mexican food I've had in Utah. Authentic Mexican cuisine can be hard to come by in this state, but this place gets it right. The food is consistently delicious and offered at very reasonable prices. I've tried the carnitas, which are absolutely fantastic tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The burritos are massive and generously filled with meat, while the carne asada is perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The fish tacos are also a solid choice. The salsa bar is a standout feature, offering a great variety from mild to hot all of which are flavorful and fresh. This is the closest to real Mexican food in Utah. The food here is not covered and smothered in sour cream and cheese, like real Mexican food. I highly recommend this spot, if you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. It's become my go-to for Mexican food in the area. read more

This has the same vibe as Betos and El mexinquense. After my first visit, this is the best of the three. My wife got the chicken chimichanga. I got the dos potrillos burrito. Both were excellent, and high quality. My only complaint is that the burrito became very liquidy and messy towards the end of the burrito. If they can clean that up, I can't think of a better tasting burrito. I'll be back read more

We just went to Dos Petrillo, Mexican food in Saratoga Springs, Utah. This is a hidden gem. Their staff is amazing. Their food reaches beyond imagination and has that authentic Mexican love in every bite. Very rarely will I give this much love to one place., But this place is worth it. Anything you get will be amazing. PS. Ordered the flan on the way out. It will rock your world. read more

Best Mexican around Saratoga springs. It puts the Betos to shame. The food is amazing and affordable and the staff is awesome.

unacceptable for the money spent on what I ordered. younger staff highly untrained for the fact that they did not know how to make a #9 they gave me 2 small fish tacos not the right size fish tacos almost didn't give me rice and beans had to tell them going off the pics on the menu.. came out tiny very tiny portions for $14 and change???..also burned all 3 quesadillas like I couldn't taste the flavor just a burnt taste so I ended up throwing mine and my kids away was going to go back but I would be waiting longer...please do better not a good experience at all. read more

I hate to write this review for a new restaurant, but wow, this was terrible. I ordered the fajitas, and my wife ordered the chicken burrito. The fajita steak was flavorless and tough, the refried beans tasted like they came from a can, and the flour tortillas tasted rancid. My wife's burrito was a bit better, but still bad. We didn't finish our meal. Additionally, the soda fountain had no carbonation, and when we complained, we were told it was broken. I definitely will not be returning here, ever. If I could leave zero stars, I would. read more

The ambiance is fair, clean inside, a decent selection of sauces at the salsa bar and food was good! California burrito- 8/10 It was a huge size with alot of filling and tasty. Rolled tacos- 7.5/10 they were well cooked and crispy. Toppings were well portioned. Horchata- 10/10 SO GOOD!! I've been looking for a spot that has good tasting horchata and I haven't found a place in UT yet. It's either too much cinnamon or too sweet. Well until now, I'll be back just for the drink. read more

Tried this new place out. Will not be going back. The trashcan was full of dirty plates, with the trash overflowing. The salsa bar was messy. The service was VERY slow. My wife and daughter grabbed takeout from here today at around 11 AM 2/16/25. At home we found that they didn't give us a receipt and forgot a burrito that they charged us for. The refried beans were gray and tasted off. The rolled tacos were completely buried under a pile of off-collored guacamole. The breakfast burrito was good. The chicken enchiladas were just okay. Terrible first impression but I'll give them another chance and boost my review if the experience is better. read more
