My wife and I travel for her work. We've been to many Mexican places across the country and even to Mexico. This is the best Mexican food I've ever had. I got #15 combo the first time I went, and #14 the second time (pictured). Wish I would've got pictures of more but we came super hungry, the phone didn't get time to eat. My wife got the giant fajita quesadilla and didn't need to eat to for 24 hours. The tortillas they use for the tacos, etc are phenomenal. Sopapillas so so good. The staff is so friendly, we were warmly greeted by a multiple staff each time. Suzie was our server the first time and she was 10 out of 10. Very nice to our young kids and even knew to bring them spoons for their rice and beans. The manager or owner or whoever wears the shirt and tie was funny and friendly. A very warm individual. Inside is great you feel like you're in the southwest. Can't wait to be in Provo again to eat here. read more

Was craving Mexican tonight as we haven't had it in a while and a margarita also sounded really good. We were seated promptly upon entering.and within 2-3 minutes of being seated we were delivered chips salsa and the fresh guacamole gal also arrived. We decided on a half bowl of guacamole and watched her make it in front of us. Our server stopped by and we ordered waters and two margaritas. 25 minute after being seated we still had no waters or napkins/silverware!. My daughter mistakenly got a jalapeño in her guacamole and because we had no napkins or water she had no choice but to spit it out into the tortilla bowl. The chips and salsa didn't taste fresh. We finally receive our waters and margaritas about 35 min after being seated. We had ordered our margaritas on the rocks, no salt. They were delivered with salt. Oye! This place is so incredibly loud inside. I was ready to go before our dinner was served. Our dinners finally arrived and we couldn't fill up our bellies fast enough. We again asked for silverware. Our server Jaime never came to check on us. My husband flagged him down for a water refill, boxes and our check so we could get out of there. None of us finished our food as it was just way too loud for our liking. Food was decent but not incredible. I had the chicken flautas and they were plain just chicken no cheese and in flour tortillas. I did enjoy the side of beans. My husband had the Combination Guadalajara which was a beef tostada, a beef enchilada, a beef taco and a chile verde burrito . As far as food goes it tasted pretty authentic. Service was subpar and the noise horrific. Not sure if I would give this place a second chance. read more

We've been to Mi Ranchito a handful of times now. Today, we chose to dine here because we were celebrating our daughter's birthday and it's where she asked to eat. Mi Ranchito is a cute restaurant. It gives off an authentic feel, is pretty clean, the hosts/hostess are welcoming and the servers are patient and attentive. Their menu has a nice variety to choose from and their prices are average. The meal portions are generous. I cannot say this is my most favorite Mexican restaurant if I am being honest because the food quality varies with each visit but, I've only really ever been disappointed once. Their food does taste good. I usually get the combo with two beef tacos, rice, and beans. They do this weird thing with their tacos by putting on a dressing that tastes like Italian dressing in my opinion BUT it works and tastes great lol. My husband enjoys their enchiladas and our daughter really likes the chile relleno. Definitely worth checking out read more

Inside is cute, colorful walls and paper flags. Service was great. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food is where we had to dock several stars. The free salsa was good, but definitely missing something. Also needed salt. My husband got the carne asada thin steaks. They were soooo chewy. Horrible texture. He couldn't even finish it. I got the flautas which were yummy but I felt like I needed a sauce or salsa for dipping. The options on the table were not enticing. The rice was just terrible. Way overcooked and clumpy. Lacked flavor. Guacamole was brown. They offered tableside fresh made guacamole which was cool but I guess the guacamole I got had been sitting out the kids enjoyed their quesadillas. The vibe in here is really cute and colorful. Our wait was awesome. He kept bringing refills without us having to ask. The Diet Coke was incredibly crisp. I just want to let everyone know that the guacamole cart that comes around at dinner is going to charge you even if the person operating the cart says there is no charge. According the the very rude manager the customer isn't always right even though her employee told us something else. Is losing a customer worth the $10 you earned by being dishonest then treating your customers badly when they inquired about the charge? read more

Mi Ranchito is a classic American Fork staple. It's always nice to find a non-major-chain restaurant (especially in this part of Utah county!) The service, food and ambiance are all good. I wouldn't say they are amazing or much better than any classic Mexican joint, but they do the job and make it worth stopping in. The restaurant is clean and the menu very large! We ordered dinner to-go on a weekday. The order was scheduled to be ready at 6:45pm and we came 10 minutes to find it ready and were told that it had been sitting out for a little bit. We did have to reheat it when we got home as it wasn't very warm. I ordered chicken enchiladas with green sauce. There wasn't a ton of flavor in the sauce. I wish there were more chiles and flavor in general. It would've been better with flour tortillas. The beans on the side were the best part. The rice was bland. I don't think we will be returning. We were told this place was their favorite, so we tried it. The nachos were really good. I ordered Enchilada suitable, and my hubby had #10..it had an enchilada, tamales, and tacos. Mine was ok but not great. He really liked his tamales and tacos. But when we ordered, I included takeout so we don't have to wait long. But aa we paid put bill, that was the only time they made the take out order. We literally had to wait so long, which was upsetting. My FIL loves this place! It's his absolute favorite place to eat but every time I've been here it's been good but definitely not my favorite Mexican food. I've tried a few things on the menu and most recently got the chicken fajitas. They were good but I wasn't overly impressed. However there was still so much steam coming off the fajitas when they served them to me so I was very impressed with that. I did order an horchata and it was delicious! THE BEEF TASTES LIKE A SUNDAY ROAST! - The food here is absolutely phenomenal, there is a reason it is so highly rated on yelp! This was probably my 5th time coming here and this last time was soooo good, I was so impressed. I ordered the number 27 which is a beef and bean burrito in a flour tortilla as well a beef enchilada. Speaking about Mexican food this is hands down the greatest gem in Utah county. I know that a bold statement but it holds it own. This beef in there food is so tasteful and tender, I've noticed it can be very easy to make the meat dry and they do so good and making it as good as possible. The enchilada sauce is also pretty good, I would give it a 4/5 as well there beans would get a 4/5. There tacos are a must get as well so you might have grab one on the side. I LOVE this place. The food is amazing, and the servers are excellent. The ambiance is homey, quaint, and festive. I adore their Tacos de Alambre, and honestly I get it almost every time I am there :-). They also accommodate my special drink orders. I really like peach ice tea, which is not on their menu, but they make it for me anyway. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. My one suggestion is to go early, the parking lot fills up quickly due to how popular they are. read more

It was tiny chimichangas, taquitos, small quesadillas, and chicken fingers. All deep fried besides the quesadillas so not a healthy option. I'd say it's great for a couple kids to split. Today was no exception. Food was great. Service was wonderful, although the older lady who gave us drinks, chips and salsa and refills did more work than the server himself. However, my one complaint: when a customer asks for her diet coke to go, please don't tell her no. As a former waitress, I know how very little it costs to fill up a drink of soda. Was it worth it to leave a bad (diet cokeless) taste in my mouth which warranted me to write a sub-par review for your business? Me and my family love coming here and try to come on Sundays. Me and my husband both get beef enchiladas and every time it's the exact same and extremely delicious. The staff is always friendly and I don't think we've ever had to wait to be seated (3 of us) and the food comes out super quickly. We recently went to a park city restaurant, spent double the price and it tasted like they put spaghetti sauce on top of our food so it's very unlikely we will ever go to any other Mexican restaurant.
