Caldo de Birria with corn tortillas, salsa, and limes. This picture does not do the size of this bowl justice. It was huge.

Had a great anniversary dinner. Service was great and the food was delicious. We will definitely be going back.

    Arrachera Sandwich - so good!

This restaurant has changed a couple times, but wow, this is amazing! I would call it, gourmet Mexican food. The seating is nice, they have lots of windows and an outside seating area. Our server Michael was so nice and fun and gave us recommendations on what to have. Birria Grilled Cheese - 10/10 - if you want an upgraded version of Disneyland's famous grilled cheese Birria, come here! It was amazing! The beef is juicy, tender, and freaking awesome. Consommé was fabulous. And I didn't think I'd like the potatoes wedges, but they were just amazing. Arrachera Sandwich- 10/10 - phenomenal steak inside a tender steak sandwich. The role was supple and the flavor was on point! This is a place to try! I will be going back. I recommend to try this. Impress your significant other, you won't be disappointed.

Walking into Ocotillo Prime felt like an escape - The atmosphere is so calm and inviting!! We were seated promptly, and our server (Diana) was super sweet. We started off with the chips and salsa... Pro tip: ask for as many beans as you can! They are absolutely divine! Everything we ordered was insanely delicious. And even though we were super full, we still ordered dessert and it was so worth it! I'm already planning my next trip back... Can't wait to try more delicious food!

Beetroot Salad, Carne Asada Plate, Leña y Mar, and the last little bit of our Guacamole Ribeye

Best restaurant in Utah County! The food was fabulous, the service was excellent, we'll definitely be back. We had the Guacamole Ribeye and the Beetroot Salad to start. Both were so good and the ribeye came with the most delicious sweet, smoky, slightly spicy sauce with the creamy guacamole - the best thing you've ever tasted. I ordered the Carne Asada Plate (yum!) with homemade corn tortillas. My husband had the Leña y Mar as recommended by our server, Sebastian. He especially enjoyed the Lobster Enchilada that came in the meal. We finished it off with the Dubai Churros. Our server, Sebastian, was so helpful, gave great recommendations, and took his time answering questions and guiding us through the menu. It was fun to be near the open kitchen and see all of the chefs at work too. We more than enjoyed our first meal here and can't wait to bring our kids and friends back!

A Hidden Gem for Lunch! I popped in for lunch on a Tuesday, and it was wonderfully uncrowded. Part of me wants to keep this spot all to myself, but it's just too good not to share! The table service here was fantastic. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and offered some excellent suggestions when we asked for them. Appetizer: Pig Wings Al Pastor Style - 9/10 Our group of four started with the pig wings al pastor style, which are essentially delicious mini bone-in ribs. They were absolutely phenomenal! I regret not getting a photo, but I found one online that's gives you an idea of what they are. The only minor critique is that the blue cheese dip could have had a more pronounced "blue" flavor. Main Entrée: Baja Shrimp Tacos - 6.5/10 For my main, I opted for the Baja shrimp tacos. The flavor was definitely there, but I found the breading on the shrimp a bit too heavy, which overshadowed the delicate shrimp itself. On the flip side, the red and green salsas served alongside were incredibly flavorful and packed a perfect amount of heat. Dessert: Key Lime Cheesecake - 8/10 We finished by sharing a key lime cheesecake among the 4 of us - we were already quite full! The cheesecake was a substantial size, and the flavor was spot-on, though it could have used just a touch more key lime zing for my personal preference. The crust was a little unconventional, but it actually added a nice textural element that worked well. A Personal Touch: To top it off, one of the owners stopped by our table to check in, which was a nice touch. We asked if they were affiliated with the same group as Sol Agave and Del Mar, as there were some similar food styles and even furniture, but they clarified they are an independent establishment.

The meal was delicious overall. The only small drawback was that the steak and eggs were served a bit cold.

This one is a tough one we expect so much more from Sol Agave owned restaurant. The atmosphere was great you walk in and are greeted by a big wall with art. There is Art on the walls through out. The Service was fine at best. Appetizers were pushed hard on us after we declined, but they were very attentive. The food, we ordered 2 items that both included steak. The carne asada was bland not much flavors. The rib eye tacos were tough. It's hard to justify each plate priced at over $20 when I can get better quality and flavor from a taco truck. The Agua frescas as described were fizzy water with flavoring at best. No where near an agua fresca I take pride in Mexican food as I feel it is the best cuisine and has a lot to offer and I am struggling to justify visiting here again.

Food was great, we got the fried shrimp as an appetizer, the mahi-mahi tacos and the ribeye tacos. Everything was very good, a bit over priced, but very good. The chips + salsa + refried beans are micho muy good. I'd go back here again for sure. Service and ambience were also great.

    Ocotillo Citrus Salad w/chicken

Nice Mexican American brunch options. The chilaquiles were flavorful and yummy. Portion was quite large! The ocotillo citrus salad was also pretty big. Personally, the vinaigrette it came with was a bit too sour for me. Typically, that wouldn't be so much of an issue, but the dressing didn't have any other flavor component to it except sourness. Also, the salad was supposed to come with fresh pineapple, as described on the menu, but instead, it had no pineapple and just super sour mango. I did like the pig wings. Very unique option compared to regular chicken wings. Flavor was nicely sweet and tangy. The service was fine. Place is nice and clean. Very modern upscale feel.

We came for brunch and really enjoyed most of the food--everything we tried was delicious! The only disappointment was the ceviche. We asked for fish and shrimp, but the shrimp was overcooked and there wasn't much fish, so that dish missed the mark for us! Service was great and on top of everything until people started piling in. Great vibe and cozy inside.

I came to try this place as it looked so pretty! In my opinion, the quality of the food was not fresh; maybe it was canned or prepackaged? Idk but I was not happy for the quality. Some of the food I ordered and drinks I got did not taste good. I will say the pancakes and the chicken flautas were good.

Best breakfast in American Fork Ocotillo Prime Leña Y Mar has one of the best breakfasts I've had. The food is flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented, with a great balance of traditional Mexican flavors and a modern twist. Everything we tried was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The atmosphere is stylish but comfortable, and the service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. It's a great spot for a relaxed breakfast or brunch with friends or family.

I got #15 combo the first time I went, and #14 the second time (pictured). Wish I would've got pictures of more but we came super hungry, the phone didn't get time to eat. My wife got the giant fajita quesadilla and didn't need to eat to for 24 hours. The tortillas they use for the tacos, etc are phenomenal. Sopapillas so so good. The staff is so friendly, we were warmly greeted by a multiple staff each time. Suzie was our server the first time and she was 10 out of 10. Very nice to our young kids and even knew to bring them spoons for their rice and beans. The manager or owner or whoever wears the shirt and tie was funny and friendly. A very warm individual. Inside is great you feel like you're in the southwest. Can't wait to be in Provo again to eat here.

We were seated promptly upon entering.and within 2-3 minutes of being seated we were delivered chips salsa and the fresh guacamole gal also arrived. We decided on a half bowl of guacamole and watched her make it in front of us. Our server stopped by and we ordered waters and two margaritas. 25 minute after being seated we still had no waters or napkins/silverware!. My daughter mistakenly got a jalapeño in her guacamole and because we had no napkins or water she had no choice but to spit it out into the tortilla bowl. The chips and salsa didn't taste fresh. We finally receive our waters and margaritas about 35 min after being seated. We had ordered our margaritas on the rocks, no salt. They were delivered with salt. Oye! This place is so incredibly loud inside. I was ready to go before our dinner was served. Our dinners finally arrived and we couldn't fill up our bellies fast enough. We again asked for silverware. Our server Jaime never came to check on us. My husband flagged him down for a water refill, boxes and our check so we could get out of there. None of us finished our food as it was just way too loud for our liking. Food was decent but not incredible. I had the chicken flautas and they were plain just chicken no cheese and in flour tortillas. I did enjoy the side of beans. My husband had the Combination Guadalajara which was a beef tostada, a beef enchilada, a beef taco and a chile verde burrito . As far as food goes it tasted pretty authentic. Service was subpar and the noise horrific. Not sure if I would give this place a second chance.
