    Keiki bento breakfast
    Pili S.

Butter rolls? Yes please! We were warmly greeted by the staff and were excited to get some breakfast. With Hawaiian music playing in the background and the anticipation of a kind of breakfast we grew up with ...well we were excited. We got a spam, eggs and rice plate and a keiki plate. The vibe was chill, but nothing about the kitchen was! They were impressive to watch as they prepared the baked goods. We'll definitely be back for more!

We had a great experience here! Service was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was very clean and we were the only ones dining in. Food was good too! I ordered their French toast which was thick, (a little dry) but nothing a little bit of syrup can't fix! My husband ordered their breakfast bento and he liked it, But wished there was salt and pepper on the tables to add to his eggs. But the taste overall was great. We definitely want to come back and try more items on their menu especially their lunch/dinner.

I don't often find my self this far south, but now I know exactly where to go when I do. Budda's makes a fantastic meal and even better baked goods. When I was in, I got the locomoco burger. I'm a huge fan of Loco Moco and I think theirs is great. Plenty of flavor and made fresh. As a burger, it does add a few extra layers of carbs, so buckle up for a food coma that it will put you in. I'd definitely be up for trying some of their other burgers too though. Their rolls are fantastic. If you are taking any home, then you need at least one extra to eat in the car on the way. They are light and delicious. Really balanced rolls that aren't overly sweet, making them dangerously easy to over eat. The shop is clean, and themed with the Hawaiian vibes. The staff is super nice and made great recs on what to eat. Overall, it's a great little shop and a staple for the area.

So glad we finally got a chance to try this place! I didn't know you could get a whole meal here, so we'll be back to try those!! We got a free Budda roll for being first-timers (so nice)!! We got a sticky roll and a taro roll. Both soooooo yummy, buttery, and soft (And not too sweet)!! (I DO wish the taro one was more taro-ey hehe) I would still buy a whole bunch of these for gatherings. We also tried the butter chicken meat pie which was pretty hefty and delicious too! The workers were so chill and nice. The inside is more spacious than you'd expect and there's plenty of seating! We'll definitely be back with friends!

We stopped here on our last day after seeing the raving reviews. Did not disappoint!! I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet and savory options. To start, we were offered two Budda rolls and got the taro and the sticky. Bother were fluffy and warm. It was great being able to try these while we waited for our food. For Lunch, we got the Loco Moco Bento and Portuguese Sausage bento. The gravy on the Loco Moco ties the whole meal together, and the Portuguese sausage was full of flavor. Great stop. Deserves all the starts

Been wanting to try these budda rolls for some time, and they did not disappoint. Arrived at this Polynesian owned business when they opened at 8 am and ordered the classic budda role and a cup of coffee to eat in. When you join their loyalty program, you get a free roll. The rolls were freshly baked in buttery goodness, hence their name. Their coffee was not ready, so they brewed a new pot. However, when the coffee arrived it was lukewarm which is why I deducted a star. They have other food items which we'll have to come back and try. The baking area is open and viewable behind glass, so you can see just how much butter they use . The dining area is clean and bright.

This is a Hawaiian inspired bakery that serves different kinds of rolls and sandwiches. I've come to this place twice and both times did not disappoint. The rolls were fresh, adequately stuffed and delicious. Each roll had the right amount of filling to give that balanced taste. To add on, their customer service was equally impressive. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and were happy to answer any questions I had. Will be back again!

Oh my goodness. Delicious!!! One bite into the softest sweetest roll, and we found ourselves debating on whether we buy a dozen or two to take home on our travels. This is a unique place! Friendly and fun atmosphere. I'm just mad my tummy won't let me eat more rolls in one sitting!

This was our first time trying Buddha's Bakery and breakfast. Walking in I got the warm aloha vibe and made me feel like I was back on the island visiting a mom and pop shop Such welcoming great service. We got the teriyaki bento, which is heavenly !!!!! We will be regular customers!! The cinnamon roll and the coconut roll was sooo delicious!! We couldn't wait to get home we ate them right away and the sticky coconut was soo delicious! Definitely our favorite Hawaiian go to spot from now on!

    6 pack - 2 taro/ube, 2 cinnamon, 1 regular, 1 coconut

Tasty rolls but unfortunately, they weren't as soft as advertised, specifically the sticky cinnamon roll. I was sad when I bit into them and they were dry, but the more I worked toward the middle of the roll, the softer the bread got. I do like how they have different flavors! The taro/ube one has no taro/ube flavor - more so just butter - but it is purple. The coconut & sticky cinnamon rolls both had great flavor.

I just moved here and needed to eat something delicious and filling. I saw they did breakfast so I check it out. It was Amazing! I had it to go and when I opened the box, I audibly said "Damn!" They are also super sweet!

Was a little confused walking in because we could not see a menu. Finally saw it taped up and went to take a look. The worker behind the counter was very friendly and noticed we hadn't been there before. He offered some great suggestions and even gave us some sticky rolls to try! He was very kind. Our food was very delicious, the servings were a very good size. I got the bulgolgi bento. The meat was a good cut, wasn't chewy and flavorful. The Mac salad was very delicious, needed salt but once I added it it was perfect. The open kitchen was a nice touch. My kids loved the open window in front of the people working the dough. They thought it looked super cool!

If you're planning to dine there, make sure you don't have any pressing commitments afterward. On both of our visits, we spent an extraordinary amount of time simply waiting to be acknowledged. During our most recent visit, our group sat at a table right in the middle of the restaurant and could have driven all the way to the Draper location in the time it took for a server to notice we were there. We initially assumed the experience was a one-time issue, so we gave the American Fork location a second chance a few months later. Unfortunately, it was almost identical to the first visit. The pace of service was painfully S...L...O...W... The time from when we sat down until we got the special priviledge of actually ordering: 25 minutes! In contrast, the Draper location has consistently been a much better experience and appears to be managed far more efficiently. I'm glad they've expanded into American Fork, and the food certainly makes the restaurant worth visiting. I just hope they can improve their service processes so customers can enjoy a great meal without needing to set aside half their day to do it.

Another thing that was a huge turnoff was as the amount of gnats flying around. My guess is there is rotting food near the booths we were sitting in. The weather is cold, doors weren't wide open so something was attracting them. Restroom was clean and a small but decent sized parking lot.
