Worlds best San Diego burritos! We've came here twice now and I can attest that it is pretty close to what San Diego has. We've gotten the carne asada burrito, carne asada super nachos, carne asada tacos. The burrito had pico de gallo in it which was good! The flavor hits so different from other Mexican restaurants. The tacos were HUGE! Tortillas could've been cooked a little longer but was still good. Moving onto the nachos...just thinking about it makes me drool! Seriously one of the best I've ever had. I NEVER finish super nachos anywhere. I hardly can eat half, but Pacos? I've ate the entire thing, twice. Fat kid status? Totally! Felt sick after? Yes but every bite was worth it. The red sauce is fire!!! It's got a really good kick and is so good. The avocado sauce is good as well has a bit of a kick. The green sauce however wasn't that great. Hardly any flavor. Went out with the fam for dinner and did a quick search for Mexican and Paco's Tacos was at the top of the list. We were all surprised when we came to find it was located in a gas station convenience store! As a group of 6 we were worried if there was not enough seating but there was plenty. The tables and restrooms were very clean. We ordered a variety of different items and there was no complaints on flavor and quality. The styrofoam plates did cool our food a bit faster than expected but the delicious contents overshadowed that. I had a carnitas supreme burrito and the meat was crisp, just the right amount of sour cream, guacamole and sauce. Another one of those places that sounds like a mildly racist boomer named it but is actually autentico and good quality (like Ping Pang Pong in Vegas :P). It is a little pricey tho, $9.50 is the cheapest you're getting away with any burrito after tax, with no extras whatsoever (no salsa bar or anything). If this is the "value" taqueria in the area, yeeps, Lehi really is getting colonized by California. You get good quality and portion size for the price though. It's the So Cal "meat stuffed" style of burrito with just some guac and pico on top. My neighbor dropped off a sausage and potato breakfast burrito without me asking for it. I hate wasting food, so I decided to eat it. I had no idea that PT is actually in a gas station, or else I probably would not have tried it. I'm glad I did because it was a decent hangover-type burrito. I don't normally like potatoes in my burritos, but they were alright; I just feel that there was too much potato. It was quite filling. Other than that, there wasn't any pico, guac or anything refreshing in it, so it was pretty heavy. I could only eat half at a time, with hours in between. I need to give a huge shoutout to the Yelp app for this one, because there ain't no way I would have ever found it without the app (and you fellow Yelpers) telling me it was here. It's in a gas station, for crying out loud. Though I've eaten in many a gas station in my life, it's been a while. And it's usually more like a terrible sandwich chain or a bad fast food burger. Rarely do you find a local spot, so already I'm liking Paco's, as a good and unique alternative. The menu is pretty big, and it seems like it keeps getting better. There are daily specials, and there are add ons to the menu, and about 8 different categories. I don't mind, necessarily, but it was overwhelming. If you're concerned, however, you can look at the main menu board, and there are photos of each plate and what it comes with. Just point, and it will be yours. I tried a Utah Burrito, which is carne asada, guacamole, cheese, potatoes, and probably some other things I'm forgetting. What makes it a Utah burrito, I'm not sure. But it all came together. It does need salsa, but they leave that to you to dress. Their philosophy seems to be to underseason a little and leave the punching it up to you with their mini salsa bar. I also tried the Texano burrito, which was similar, sans guacamole and with chicken instead. Both burritos were hefty, heavy, and plenty of food for around $7. Mine got a little potato-heavy in the middle--they seem to just be french fries--but it was a nice texture and the meat was diced and really had a nice flavor. To top it off, I go the tres leches cake and tried some churro. The churro was a miss--probably not so fresh, but the tres leches cake was very leche-y. That's a good thing. They just bring it in from a local bakery, but it's a good change of pace as a dessert. It's a nice surprise here. I'd like to get a better feel for the whole menu, so I'm perhaps a little overpraised right now, but it's definitely worth a stop. I fondly recall going to another little Mexican place in Utah County earlier this year, and ordering one of every dang taco on the menu. That day, taco magic smiled down on me and it was a glorious day I would actually love to go back and Groundhog Day. That's probably what I should do here at Paco's, just to taste more of everything. read more

I could smell the food as soon as we walked in and it was amazing. The menu is a bit overwhelming as there are a ton of options and the font is really small. I stood there for a while before basically eeny-meeny-miny-moing my way to "plate #25," the grilled chicken plate served alongside refried beans and rice. It comes with a few tortillas (your choice of flour or corn) which are bigger than the traditional street style! There's a salsa bar with various picos, salsas and pickled veggies. The whole meal delivered delicious authentic, clean traditional Mexican flavors. Service was prompt and polite. And bonus: the portions were bigger than I expected! Would have been better without it. When I went to get marinated carrots and jalapenos, they did not look fresh and we're not very marinated. A disappointment. Tasted like they were out of a can and not fresh. They had several varieties of salsa to choose from but none seemed very spicy, which I like, and the containers were not filled nicely.
