Well went into this place to get some food. And was not that disappointed. The restaurant is in a great place out in Lehi on main st. I wish they had just a little bit more on the menu than just birria style tacos but I guess it does say in the name Red Tacos. Over all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The decor of the place was great. The Birria was good but I have to say the consommé was everything! It added the flavor and juiciness the tacos needed. Honestly I added a little bit of the super hot salsa in it and it had the perfect amount of spice I was looking for. If I could add their consommé to everything they have on the menu I would cause we ordered the chips and salsa as well. And I was dipping the chips in the consommé because I was not too happy about the salsa. Over all great place to sit down and have some good birria tacos next time I think I'll have to try the ramen.

Such delicious birria tacos! The queso tacos are so cheesy and flavorful. They have great salsa as well. Their side of beans is amazing. Everything here is so authentic. I am always so impressed!

Ambience: 10/10 gorgeous inside. Cactus center pieces Toilet cleanliness: 10/10 black toilet. New paint not sure how I feel about that. Super cool and different but I prefer to see if it's clean. Food: 8/10 - queso tacos very yummy and great value. They didn't have chicken but beef ones my husband loved. The quesadilla was filled with melty cheese. They are dipped in spicy grease and then grilled to crisp up. Salsa was great but no salsa bar. Which I prefer for hygienic reasons. Limes, cilantro, and red onions served with every order.

Man, this place is a HIDDEN GEM! I decided to take my family out for some Mexican Cuisine. The reviews and the pics looked promising. The restaurant was easy to find and there was adequate parking. The first question I had was what the hell is Birria. I am a picky eater and I thought for the review, let me try something I had never had before. Once we entered, the ambience and the smell made me so hungry, it was like eating the air. It was now time to place our order. There is a menu board right above the desk where they take your order. The menu board is very easy to read, and they have a 4-street taco plate for 4.99 Monday to Friday Special from 2pm to 5pm. I also ordered a Queso Taco on the side to go with my street tacos. The Queso Taco is made with birria meat and queso melted cheese. My lady ordered Combo 1 which included 2 queso tacos, 2 street tacos, and one dip called consome. Service was quick and even though we got it to go, we still sat down to see how the tacos were because the smell of the food made us sit down and eat to satisfy our anticipation and hunger. Let me tell you, we weren't disappointed. At first, I was confused because my tacos had meat and two soft taco shells and that's it. The waiter who took our order said that it's a salad bar that has all the fixings. They had everything but cheese at the salad bar. That wasn't a good start but when I tried that queso taco, I understood why. Hands down this was one of the most flavorful and delicious tacos that I have ever had. If you want cheese, order the QUESO TACO! Better yet if you want a yummy taco, order the queso taco! We were also shocked at how big the serving of birria they put on the tacos, there was so much meat, we were able to turn the 6 street tacos into 12 street tacos. This is one of our go-to spots in Utah County. My lady loved the experience of Red Tacos so much, she has since gone again and ordered the Combo 1 and Birria Quesadilla for the kids. If you love a classic taste of Mexican food, I will highly recommend Red Tacos for your next spot!

I have not been a connoisseur of birria for long, but I have recognized Red Tacos as the gold standard and one to which others are compared. Few places have me wanting to return to often but this is one. It has a simple menu but the flavor of the tacos is superb. The consumme is spectacular and so good to dip the tacos in. Aside from the tacos and quesotacos the ramen was really good as well. I am hard pressed to try anything other than their #1 Combo...birria tacos and quesotaco. Service is generally quick and the workers have always been friendly. It's a little hidden in a strip mall but worth the effort to get to. I will be (am) a regular.

I went to lunch here with a gal pal of mine back in April. I love tacos and wanted to try a new place. I'm so glad I did! This place was super cute! I loved all the decor on the walls. The food was super yummy too. I think I have been enjoying Birria tacos a lot more these days. I tried a bit of everything, and I was not disappointed! You got my vote, Red Tacos! :)

I had lunch here with a friend at 12:15 on a Monday. Ample parking and no line. I did some math and saw that I could get 2 queso tacos with consommé for $10 (if I bought each thing individually) or the same thing with 2 street tacos for $13 so I went with the combo! It took a little longer than I anticipated for how few customers there were. I know they aren't making that birria to order because I've made it myself and it takes all day!! It's okay though- I had a lot of time to chat with my friend. I enjoyed the tacos. The meat is really juicy so the street taco tortillas were a bit soggy. They didn't break though. The star of the show was obviously the queso tacos. I loved the double layer of tortillas with the cheese in the middle. Great crunch. The meat was flavorful and so was the consommé! Glad the consommé quantity was pretty big. I definitely took the consommé home so I can have gluten free birria another day :)

Loved the birria tacos and consomé here! So good! Glad we have another place nearby with amazing tacos ! As a Mexican person myself I especially appreciated the Lotería and Day of the Dead inspired interior decor. Highly recommend this place if you've never had a birria taco!

Based on a recommendation, we all tried Queso Tacos at Red Tacos in Lehi tonight. Red Tacos is located just east of the Main Street exit in Lehi. The tacos were fantastic - loved the crisp outside and cheesy, tender, beef birria inside! The consome was good. I enjoyed the tacos both with and without dipping them. Everyone was friendly and we were happy to see that they were pretty busy. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, but the tacos were still still piping hot and crispy when we arrived home to eat 10 minutes later. We ordered eight Queso Tacos. They were packed in two containers with three different hot sauces, red onions, radishes, and cilantro. I was completely full with two. Three each was plenty for my boys.

Best tacos in Utah County. Hands down. Came here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon with some friends and we were not disappointed. The service was FAST, the employees were kind and on top of cleaning the tables and floor. I ordered the #1, and would highly recommend. It kept me full for the rest of the night. I will take the drive down again to be back, they've got me as a customer for lifeeeee.

My father in law brings all his buddies here finally brought us! It was really good, the beef was awesome! I got the regular taco and a queso and beef taco. The regular one was beautifully made and tasted great! The queso was better, but hey I'm a sucker for cheese. The only con would be the amount of grease on the food.

The best birria tacos around. Their consome is super good too. If you want great queso birria tacos this is the place. They specialize in this and they got it right. We love getting the try and adding a few consomés.

I the tortillas weren't really cooked or heated through very well and there was literally no cheese. When I flagged down the young man who seemed to the shift, he very politely told me expensive and they were cutting back on it. When I showed him my taco with literally 2 to 3 tiny shreds of cheese on it, instead of the cooked cheese shell that I was accustomed to, he was like "oh whoa that's not enough!" no kidding. Additionally, the meat was overcooked, kind of crispy and crunchy as opposed to being tender or juicy. We each got two tacos, we each got the bird and my husband got a Memphis and I got fleeing Californian. None of them were up to smoked taco standards. I tried to leave a review through their website and what I got was "Sorry this seems like Spam so you can't submit this review." How to lose a in one visit. This would be the way. Step inside and you will find a beautifully decorated space with an open kitchen greeting you at the entrance and a staff that is genuinely enthusiastic about the food they are serving. Ocotillo specializes in the cuisine of Sonora, Mexico, a region known for bold meat and seafood dishes. They also offer a daily brunch menu that is worth planning your weekend around. We ordered the tres leches pancakes, a triple stack that delivers exactly what the name promises.
