Waited for over an hour and a half for our food on a VERY slow night and when it finally came it was so cold and soggy that we took one bite and left it there. When we went to pay I didn't realize that they charge you a $10 tip without you knowing. I will NEVER eat here again, I'd rather eat dog food then this crappy food. I mean- what even just happened??! I'm so confused by this experience. We waited about 5 mins awkwardly just to be acknowledged by anyone when it wasn't that busy & we were right by all the staff. I didn't scroll down far enough to the more accurate reviews is where we first went wrong. When we finally got a table- it was no joke 20+ minutes just for the waiter to finally take our order with zero talking to us after we were seated. It was another 25 minutes after that my Husband just grabbed our 2 waters & one kid lemonade himself since the machines were right across from our table. We seriously were about to leave many times by that point- being there nearly an hour with NOTHING on our table but silverware (surprised we got that). He never brought the chips & salsa until we had to ask for them- didn't get around to dumping those in a bowl til after we were finished eating & they were over cooked with watery salsa. Luckily the food wasn't as terrible as others have experienced- it finally did come out just when we were going to tell them never mind to not make ours as we figured they hadn't even started on it yet (we've never left a restaurant without eating before but came SO close today). But we got super easy meals so basically they just had to throw the ingredients on a plate. I ordered taco salad- which with no cheese should be vegan like I normally eat & is listed on the menu as the meat being separate (& an add on price of course) he took another 10 minutes to supposedly go ask (pry just play on his phone) to tell me they don't serve it like that anymore & I HAD to get meat- despite the menu having it listed as such. So they put it on the side for my Husband @ least with the up charge- probably just trying to get a bigger ticket total to increase his tip1 which at this point. Zero kids' vegan options which is pretty normal but just yet another reason to not return if we can't get anything slightly edited to fit our usual diet. He did give us a quick sorry once for the wait- but otherwise only stopped by the once to order & drop off the food- never checked how it was, never brought drinks or chips & salsa, only came back with the check right away after our mediocre food. In total we were there from 6:40-8pm just to get 3 very simple meals. Not sure how this place is still open when they obviously don't care whatsoever about service- I thought maybe people were just expecting better service in the other reviews & that we could deal- but it's pretty much nonexistent & they aren't concerned to make it any better. Too just messing around & chatting with each other to be bothered. Save your $ but mostly a huge amount of TIME & pick someplace else. read more

Came for dinner on a Friday night and got seated right away. Chips and salsa came immediately after! The chips are a little different but the salsa is awesome! My wife and I really enjoyed the food. We walked in and sat right down. We did go at 5:00 on a Thursday, but the service was awesome. Our waitress Dea, was extremely polite and very attentive. Have driven by the place many times when in Spanish Fork and decided to give it a try. Read the reviews after we sat down and are happy to say we did not have any of the issues others have experienced. Staff greeted us quickly and service was great throughout the time. They started us off with chips and salsa and the salsa was amazing, flavored just right with non overpowering heat. We had fajitas and birra street tacos and both were outstanding to say the least. My wife went there tonight and brought me home a chicken mole enchilada. I have never liked mole anywhere but I really liked this enchilada. It was super good and I'll go back to get it again. I'm not going to review the experience at the restaurant because I wasn't there. My wife said that the combos were supposed to have soup but it never came. She said they should just remove it from the menu because the combo is a lot of food without it. I almost gave this three or four stars because of the no-soup thing. By far the worst service EVER!!! I waited over 15 minutes & did not even get acknowledged by staff. There were plenty of staff members but not one seemed to care we were standing there. WORTH THE DETOUR! I have traveled through Spanish Fork on Hwy 6 more times than I can recall and have never been down Main Street until today. While there, Mi Corazon was recommended to me by a local for lunch and it is honestly some of the best Mexican food I have had. Salsa was spicy and fresh, and the soup that came with my Carnitas platter was awesome. Pork was delicious and not overly cooked or seasoned. I guarantee next time we travel along Hwy 6 we will be taking a minor detour to Mi Corazon for lunch! read more

We really enjoyed our visit. Our food was good, I had the #5. the carnitas was tasty! And the rellano was perfect. The refried beans are ACTUAL refried beans... not that goopy watery stuff that a lot of other restaurants serve. The rice had great flavor as well. The absolute worst restaurant I've ever been to. The worst part about it was that our waiter was TERRIBLE! I've been a waiter for years, it wasn't an off day for him. He was just terrible. He wore his mask on his chin, and when asked to put it on, he did for one minute, then pulled it down again. He was difficult to understand, and did not understand what we were saying. We ordered breaded shrimp tacos, and he brought out regular shrimp. No biggie, but we sent it back, he came out a few minutes later, slips the same plate on the table silently, and walks away. When he came back, we pointed out the issue, and he insisted that we were wrong and that they don't have that on the menu. He grabbed a menu to prove it. He was wrong; the menu proved it against him. We asked for more silverware, since we had one more person than expected. He rudely said, I already gave you silverware, and walked away. That happened three times. Finally another waiter helped us. All of our orders were wrong in one way or another, too many details to put here. They also charge a 4% fee for using a credit card to pay, which is not disclosed until after the purchase. There's a sign on the register, but they bring the reader to your table so you never see it coming. The manager gave us a discount, but one of us had already paid. She said it was impossible to do a partial refund, so they got no discount. The food was not good either for what it's worth. It was not even just basic food. It was gross. I get better food at gas stations. The only good part about this place was the other waiter, Jack. He stepped up to help us when our waiter was being unhelpful. Jack is great. read more

I also paid extra for a smothered burrito only to get a regular burrito with a spoonful of sauce splashed on the top. When asking if smothered normally includes cheese, the waiter said sometimes, but he could not take off the charge. Food was very bland. The shredded beef in my taquitos did not have any flavor at all. The chips and salsa were good except that the salsa was quite spicy and I could not eat much and you have to pay for more than 1 chip basket. That is absurd! I have never eaten at a Mexican restaurant that made you pay for more than 1 basket of chips and salsa. My wife and I ate here about a week after they opened. Overall, the food was excellent. The salsa was some of the best we've had. The chips were okay, but not great. We got a chimichanga and street tacos (carne Assad's and chicken). Both were really good. The service was okay, but a little disorganized and a little slow, which is understandable since they just opened. Only major complaint is that the first round of chips/salsa is free, but then $3.50 for subsequent rounds, and the bowl of chips is tiny. I work in Spanish Fork and this is one of the hidden treasures that I am always excited to tell my co-workers about. if you like spicy, try the Camarone a la Diablo (shrimp in a VERY spicy sauce). Also good is the Camarone al a Mexicana. this dish is not super spicy, but still has a nice flavor from the jalapenos and onions. The fideo soup is the best I have had in Utah. This is perfect for a quick lunch to warm you up and fill you up. read more

Excellent, authentic Mexican food. The tamales are the best I've ever had outside of New Mexico (where I grew up) or Mexico. We enjoyed the fideo soup, and the chips and salsa were "spot on" perfect. The chile relleno was one of the best ones I've ever had anywhere. We've been 3 times and service has been fast and the food top quality every time. No Stars. So disappointed. Dont come here expecting great customer service, I have never been treated so poorly. The first time I came here with a friend and it looked busy and we waited 30 min to be seated. Then, at our table we waited 25 min before we decided to walk out because no waitress even asked what we wanted for our drinks. My second time was with my husband and 2 daughters. I had told my husband about the horrible service and he insisted we give it a try. So we did,and again the horrible service did not disappoint. The waitress took our order. And we literally waited 35 minutes to get just our drinks!!!! If we didn't wave her down and ask for them I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have brought them(granted maybe she was new..okay. We decided to stay and really give this place a try). Then we waited an additional 30 minutes more to get our food. Apparently the waitress messed up my husband's order and we waited to get his order corrected only to wait about 25 minutes and my husband decided to leave and not eat. It was again another disappointing experience for me and now my husband (fingers crossed...he'll listen to me next time).
