Disappointing to see this approach to a price increase. Raise prices. Then raise wages. Just don't go about it this way. You've shifted the burden to the customer. I was pleasantly surprised that they were still open because I really wanted some good Mexican food with a drive thru today. I got the steak taquitos and a kids chicken burrito with chips and guacamole on the side. It took a little while and the prices seemed a bit high for what we got. I was a little hangry when I was getting the food but once I got home and was eating I was impressed with how good everything tasted. Very clearly made fresh and very high quality. Also the salsa was a funny color because they included avocados in the salsa which lent it a greenish/brownish tint... it tasted ok, but there just wasn't any heat and I needed to grab some retail habanero sauce to spice it up. In addition, there really isn't any other option with regards to heat... I asked them if that was the hottest salsa that they had and they replied that that was the only salsa available. This place boasts of having the best salsa in the world... I think that's a little reachy... but I do think it's probably the best salsa in Spanish Fork! I got a sweet pork quesadilla. It reminded me of Cafe Rio, but it's a local place so I felt better about eating there. The people who work there are super sweet and really willing to give you eating advice. Husband and I love Casa Salza! Although many have compared it to Cafe Rio/Costa Vida I don't really equate them. The food is always fresh and hot, portions are generous. Their salsa is freaking delicious!!! I've gotten tubs of it to go and shared it with friends & family. I usually order their version of a chimichanga, the pan burrito. Smothered, of course! Husband tries a variety of things and has never been disappointed. I really like that they give you a side of the salsa with chips when you order meals. Normally husband and I prefer black beans, but that is the only thing we don't care for here. We usually opt for refried pinto beans instead when we eat here.
