My husband and I went to dinner here with my SIL and husband's grandma. She loves eating here. The inside has tables and booths, and they normally have some sports on. It is a counter service. You all up and see the menu and then order at the front. They then take you to your table, and you have a server who brings drinks and food. There was a little mix up with our order and the server did correct the food runner right in front of us, which was a little awkward, but the manager came out afterward and offered us free dessert to makeup for it, which was really nice. The food itself is just okay. Every single steak was well done when people order them either medium or medium rare. My salmon had good flavor but was really dry. I'd still go back because it's a fun experience and good price, but the food isn't the best I've ever had. Diet Coke was good. Good service from management!! read more

Recently came here with family and honestly, I really liked it! Star of the show was a seasonal huckleberry lemonade, it was 10/10 and I would slurp that up any day of the week! You order in the front at the cash register before finding a seat. I ended up getting a quarter rack of ribs (3 ribs, which was perfect for me since I wasn't super hungry) with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. The food itself wasn't really anything to write home about, but I did love that it was the perfect portion for me! I always love it when restaurants offer smaller portions for cheaper. The older lady cashier Kim is rude argumentative to customers and every time I visit she isn't even nice period. She acts like it's a bother for me to be there at all. Staff is usually great food is good yet she starts the meal off badly and doesn't care. The nice thing about Sizzler is that it is consistent-you know what you're going to get. Maybe that's why it appeals to the older generation-they don't need surprises creeping up and inducing cardiac arrest. You order at the counter and then are seated at a table. If you eat from the buffet, which I recommend, you snag a plate and go to town. The salad bar has an ok variety of salad toppings along with a small selection of taco fixings, some soup and fried chicken. Service is low key-sometimes you might have to flag down your server to get a refill of a drink, but that depends on the luck of the draw and who is taking care of your table. Husband and I were in town for a family event and we saw this Sizzler location and had to stop in; the only Sizzler in our area had shuttered earlier this year. At any rate, we walked in and of course, the inside of the restaurant is set up the same way as our old Sizzler and we immediately felt comfortable! The restaurant had just opened so we ordered our food and found a booth. We were served our drinks and I started with the cheese toast that I missed. It didn't take long for the food to come out (definitely a perk of the restaurant having just opened) and we weren't disappointed. My husband had ordered the steak and lobster and I had ordered my favorite, steak and all-you-can-eat shrimp. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and so were our lobster and shrimp, respectively. This restaurant wasn't skimpy with the shrimp, they gave me more than enough, such that I didn't have to request more! Our server, I forgot her name, provided great service and I feel bad that I forgot her name. Definitely recommend and would return if I am ever in Provo again. read more

No way sizzlers has high reviews! Maybe like 15 yrs ago this would have been a decent place to eat. Only been twice in my life. And a few days ago i remembered why... extremely overpriced for the low low low quality food. Rather go to the frozen aisle and buy food there and cook it in the microwave and still be better. Salad bar is SAD and just.. ya, sad is all I'm gonna say. NOW, one positive, food comes out hot and quick! (Quick part might be cause restaurants is empty) Which I can always appreciate. Sizzlers was the "high-end" eating experience of my youth so on the occasion I stop in, it's usually because I'm feeling nostalgic. That said, with sweltering temperatures and no desire to cook at home, we ventured into Sizzlers in search of a respite from both the heat and cooking. We each ordered the sirloin, baked potato and salad bar and were promptly shown to our table and told we could go to the salad bar. Salad bar did not disappoint. It is stocked with an ample variety of fresh vegetables, toppings, pastas and potato salads and fresh fruit. Also included are chicken wings which unfortunately I experienced to be crispy on the outside and slightly frozen on the inside, soups and taco fixings. Steak and baked potatoes were cooked as ordered - no complaints. Overall, it was a good experience albeit a bit overpriced we felt. It's been a while since I've been here. We came here to take our dad to dinner because he likes it. The atmosphere is what you would expect for a buffet offering type place. The waitress was nice and did her job well. The staff was friendly and smiled. The food was decent but I'm not too impressed for over $20 for what I ordered. I asked for medium in the steak and it came out medium well. The shrimp and cocktail sauce was alright but nothing special. However, the sweet mashed potatoes where surprisingly better than expected. My boyfriend ordered a hamburger with a baked potato as his side.. the potato was severely dry, no butter or sour cream with it. On my hibachi chicken, I wanted no sauce at all and they still served with sauce smothered on it. Want a disease? This Sizzler is the place to go. I ordered a steak, well done. It was not cooked well enough, so I brought it to my servers attention. She presented a plate to put my steak on. I had cut this steak into bite size pieces with my used knife and fork, my saliva had been in contact with the meat. I had eaten off of the plate. I expected the server to throw away the steak, and cook a proper one. 20 minutes later, my server brings out a plate with my chopped up steak pieces on it, which had been placed back on the grill, contaminating it for other customers, and also cooking my steak beyond an edible state. Not only did they cook it wrong and contaminate the grill, but when I asked for a manager, the manager justified that it was not a threat to any other customers safety because the grill is "600 degrees." Would you want a steak cooked on a grill that had been spat on if it was 600 degrees? No. Mind you, this all happened the week that Utah had the biggest spike in Covid-19 cases. The manager, after justifying the grills heat, did say that the event should not have happened, and refunded us. But it was frustrating that they justified it in any way. read more

A solid salad bar, and the sassy sauce for my sweet potato fries was good but they said the sauce goes away next week. The sirloin was marginal and very chewy. I've been a server and I know it can be a demanding job, but I can also spot the difference between an inexperienced server, one that's swamped with tables, and one that's just lazy and terrible at their job. Awful food and awful service. First off we paid $70 for two adults and one child, didn't even order anything special or any add ons. The prices are out of control for mediocre food. We were greeted by our waitress, Te' as soon as we sat down and she was not very welcoming. She gave us our drinks and that was the last we saw her for over 35 minutes. Our drinks were empty the whole time, we didn't get bread even when we requested it. Someone else brought our food out but still did not offer us refills. My husbands steak was so rare, it didn't even look like it had been cooked at all. He ordered his steak medium well. It took forever to get someone to come back so he could get his steak cooked properly. We still did not get refills and our waitress had attitude when we finally caught her attention. She took my husbands steak to take back to be cooked but took it with her to THREE different tables to check on those tables before even taking the steak back to the kitchen. Honestly, I never would have thought that I would be giving a Sizzler a 4 out of 5 star review. Never in a million years. I swore off Sizzlers several years ago - I have never been a fan of "1 or 2 star" eating establishments. This afternoon I was especially hungry and for some reason I decided to give this particular location a shot. It was after the lunch hour rush and their parking lot was still packed. That's usually a good sign. It was clean. It was attractive. The salad bar was well stocked. My steak was perfectly cooked and quite tasty. My waitress was attentive. And it was Sizzler, so the price was definitely right. Is it a 5 Star restaurant? No it is not, it's a Sizzler for Pete's sake, But I will definitely be going back again. 5 Stars for a well oiled machine! We went the Friday before Valentine's so understandably it was packed. I was expecting long lines and longer wait times for food with chaotic service. What we got was amazing! The line moved quickly all night , the service was fast, and the food was really good. I looked around at the completely full restaurant and I was so impressed with the well oiled machine. It was clear they all knew their roles, by the manager and all the employees that night. Very simple menu but ask questions because the salad bar is actually more like a mini buffet and you could end up ordering more than you can eat. The place is busy but there's a reason for that.
