Imperial Pho is the best Halal Vietnamese restaurant in the city in my opinion! Offers tasty delicious food with a huge variety of options on the menu. The interior is huge with a lot of dining space with good bright lights ambiance to see the details of the dishes and music in the background to provide a friendly experience. The service was nice, organize, and very helpful with any questions or service request needed in which will be fulfilled in a timely mannered! Will definitely coming back here again.

I came as soon as they opened and walking in you can smell Fabuloso. It is a nice nice place that gives a vibe I'm not sure how to explain. They have music playing and a small strobe light. I got the food home and everything was still hot. The pho was good but nothing to scream about. I really enjoyed the egg rolls but not sure what the dipping sauce was as it looked like a mayo with Sriracha or something like that. I would have preferred the regular dipping sauce I get at other places. Yes I would go back, but I would order online or call ahead.

The workers were extremely well mannered, overall super polite and friendly. The displacement of the bowls and what sizes were available made it easy to figure out what selection would be best. I ordered a large Chicken Pho and a small Beef Pho. The only misfortune upon the visit was that I received a large beef pho instead of chicken however, the beef was extremely delicious regardless so not much to complain. The atmosphere itself was very calming and just had an overall very relaxing ambiance. Pricing was about standard for any pho restaurant as well. Would dine here again.

Ordered the Ly 's Halal Pho and was a solid pho option. Your average pho which is nice to have as an option with halal meat. Also ordered the spicy beef vermicelli noodles. The dish had a strong beef aroma that wasn't too appetizing. Also ordered the 8oz steak with mashed potatoes and was a good dish. Ordered drinks as well. Brown sugar boba milk tea was creamy and yummy. Thai milk tea was a bit too strong and not my favorite. Also ordered the mango lychee tea and was a good sweet fruity option.

Who doesn't love a good pho? On Google, it said the place opened at 11. Should've checked the hours on Yelp, but we got here a little before noon as it was opening. Pretty quiet place and nice music selection. Got the Ly's Pho with all the good meats.. Broth was excellent. Add some spiciness to it, and it was hit along with the Sweet tea. Ended up taking the broth home to use for later in the week. A good broth never goes to waste!

Wanted to try a new place to try a new Banh mi. Googled this spot and wanted to give it a try. It's right next to Kroger directly off of fry rd. This establishment is huge. Several areas of seating. Could absolutely have a party here if you were looking for somewhere different to do family pho. Anyways, I got the crawfish Banh mi. Won't lie, not the best I ever had. They did some kind of tartar sauce and it didn't sit well with the taste. It was still edible and well made just lacked flavor. The combo came with fries and a drink for all around $13 total. Fries were ok. I like a bit more crispy. The pho I saw others getting looked piping hot and amazing. Will go back to have the pho next time. Clean place. TVs. Good staff. Nothing crazy stand out but solid choice for lunch.

We usually eat at Pho Saigon or Pho Sapa but since we haven't been on this side of town for almost 10 years we decided to give them a try. Broth had some flavor to it but I just know for a fact that cleanliness is not their top priority. It might've been a bad day/week for them but unfortunately, it's a no for us. I kept smelling a weird stench coming from the food and It was their sauce packets. Y'all them things were stinky! The outer packaging reeked of urine. When my husband said that it could be roaches I immediately started gagging TT__TT That strip center has been there for a min so it's possible. PLEASE Get it together imperial pho. I won't be returning but get it together for the rest of the people.

Great atmosphere, speedy services and kind workers. I ordered the rib eye cooked Med with garlic mashed potatoes, a salad and a Sweet tea. The salad consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions. As someone that isn't fond of salad, it was prepared wonderfully. The dressing was delicious and had just enough of a kick to keep you wanting more without being overwhelming. The Garlic mashed potatoes were smooth, buttery and perfectly seasoned. You can actually taste the herbs. Ribeye cooked to a perfect medium was juicy, tender and well seasoned. So tender you could use your spoon to cut it. The juices from the steak paired perfectly as a gravy for the mashed potatoes. Definitely will be back to try more of the variety they offer on their menu.

    Gyoza-Beef Dumpling

The food was decent except for the fact that the dumplings were under cooked and the beef in the vermicelli was close to rubbery and didn't really taste like beef

We love Vietnamese food, and decided to give this place a try. It's very clean and pretty, and the prices are very reasonable, which I like. We both ordered pho. The thing that makes pho great is the broth. If made correctly, it takes a long time to get that deep, rich flavor. So yummy! I ordered the Imperial pho, which has meatballs, which I love. I had a conversation with the waiter about their banh mi, and I'm excited to come back and try their pork banh mi, and also their loaded fries with kimchi sauce. Sounds great to me! Come give it a try. PS, I'm holding back a star until I come back to try some other things.

This is a hidden treasure in the N Katy area! The atmosphere is really hip but relaxed. Service is super friendly and attentive, and they have a big menu to choose from! I had the crispy egg rolls and the Imperial pho. Both were tasty and generously portioned! I definitely did not leave hungry! Will definitely be back to this neighborhood place!

This place delivered where it mattered most, especially with the highly reviewed appetizers. Probably one of my favorite drinks here was the Thai Green Tea. It has a really interesting flavor that stands out from regular Thai Tea -- more earthy, but not quite like matcha (we guessed there might be pandan in it). Just a heads up: it's definitely on the sweeter side. My partner and I actually let the ice melt a bit before continuing to drink it, which helped balance things out. I came back a second time and still loved it just as much. The dipping sauce felt like a truly authentic representation of Vietnamese cuisine. It was a lightly diluted fish sauce with spicy red pepper and plenty of garlic -- simple but really flavorful. I also appreciated that the table setup let you customize it to your taste. In my first experience here, we ordered the Bánh Xèo, Bánh Khọt, and Bánh Bột Chiên. I was hands down a huge fan of the ginormous Bánh Xèo -- crispy, flavorful, and just overall my favorite (though I'll admit I'm a little biased toward it already). Meanwhile, my boyfriend completely fell in love with the crunchy Bánh Khọt. That said, I did notice a slight graininess in the Bánh Khọt, which took away a few points for me. The Bánh Bột Chiên was solid and got a pass from us, but it wasn't our top pick -- mostly because we've had better versions elsewhere. Other worthy notes: the herbs were fresh and crisp, and the pickled vegetables were refreshing as well (though my boyfriend thought they could've been a bit more strongly pickled). Eating everything the traditional way -- wrapping it in lettuce with herbs -- made the whole experience even better. Honestly, I would come back just to order two Bánh Xèo. I actually came back a second time before posting this review, this time with my family. We ordered the Bắp Xào, Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc, and a simple rice dish. This visit was a bit different -- across the board, we all agreed the dishes leaned too salty this time around. I could also tell the staff was overwhelmed, with only two people handling both the front and the kitchen, so it was tough to get their attention at times. That said, the Bánh Xèo still held its ground. My parents were genuinely impressed by the size, and for me, it's still an absolute banger -- something I'd come back for again and again purely for flavor and value. The Bắp Xào really stood out to me in a nostalgic way. I loved the use of traditional Vietnamese corn, and the sautéed dried shrimp brought back memories of flavors from dishes I grew up eating, even if I couldn't quite pinpoint which one. While my mom thought it was too salty, I actually felt like it would pair perfectly with a bowl of plain white rice. I also tried some of my brother's Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc and found the beef to be tender and flavorful, though not particularly standout compared to other places. I've had very similar versions nearby, but it's still my brother's go-to -- though I suspect that might also be his way of loading up on protein. Overall, even with the inconsistency during the second visit, I still really enjoy Yummy Quan -- especially for the appetizers. It's a place I'd bring family and friends to try, and I'm still curious about more of the menu... but realistically, I could live life on Bánh Xèo alone. At the end, you also get to grab some guava candy, and for anyone who's never had these, don't forget to pick some up -- they're simply delectable!

We saw on the door that they're BYOB? Thai Green Tea (4.5/5): Really sweet but with some pretty unique grassy/herbal notes! (Pandan??) Would recommend if they can adjust the sweetness down a notch. We let the ice melt a bit and it made for a great palatte cleanser. Banh Xeo (4.5/5): Definitely one of their signature dishes. I read the reviews on how large it was and it was still shocking! See my hand for reference. It's crispy and delicious. Two downsides: Not enough protein, and not enough lettuce to make wraps with how big it is. But overall, definitely one of the best I've had outside of homemade. Banh Khot (4/5): These little flavor explosions are a perfect bite size and are also a signature dish. Would definitely recommend. A few of ours were light on the pork. Banh Bot Chien (3.5/5): I was dying to try this since there is really one famous spot for it. Their version is very good, but misses on the crispiness. The inside texture and pairing sauces and radish were all very good, it just needed a little more crisp. I love that they give extra garlic and spice and basically let you customize the intensity of your fish sauce to your preference. Paid with no issues via inKind at the counter. We definitely left stuffed and would come back!

Service was prompt and quasi friendly. I thought the broth was good despite having an overwhelming aroma of cinnamon. I requested for pho tuoi (fresh noodles) which are slightly bigger than the standard noodles they give you. However, I regretted this choice because many of my noodles were clumped together, distracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Additionally, I think there's a heavy usage of MSG in their broth because I felt loopy and very thirsty for water halfway through. Needless to say, I was only able to eat half of the generous serving. For those who are a fan of pho and appreciate generous portions, this place is definitely worth a visit. Their pho bowls are substantially larger than those I've encountered elsewhere, offering a potentially satisfying experience for the more voracious diner but for me, quantity is not enough of a reason to become a regular. Note: There's a $1 uncharge for pho tuoi (fresh noodles).

At first it was just us and one other table, but not long after, more people started coming in, probably for lunch as well. The restaurant is pretty large, with both tables and booths, plus a big table for large groups. This is what we ordered: Combo Rolls This comes as a sampler with five different types of spring rolls. Regular spring rolls, nem nuong rolls (fermented grilled pork), grilled chicken, grilled pork, and shrimp only. I really liked this idea because it lets you try everything without having to order each roll separately. My favorite was the nem nuong roll. Bun Bo Hue I do not eat pork blood or pork loaf, so I substituted them with more tendon and beef meatballs. Because of that, I cannot really comment on how the pork tasted. The broth was okay but a little lacking in flavor. After I asked for shrimp paste, it tasted much better. Bo Kho (Beef Stew) This is my husband favorite dish, so he always orders it whenever a place has it. He ordered the one come with bread as dipping. He did not really like this one. It was not bad, but not great either. The flavor was missing, and the broth was more watered down than how he prefers it. Still, it is worth trying if you like beef stew. Overall, our experience was just okay. The service was fine, but the food did not leave a strong impression on us. We did not stay long since my husband had to get back to work. I would come back to try more dishes, especially pho. Since their name is Pho Guru, I feel like the pho might be better. Plus we dined in around Fall time in 2025 so I think the place would have so change with out last experience

My go-to order is the Bún Thịt Nướng (B2) -- the grilled pork is perfectly seasoned and cooked, the noodles are light, and the vegetables are incredibly fresh. I also love the garden rolls with pork or shrimp. What really sets them apart are the sauces: tangy, balanced, and flavorful without being overly sweet. You can tell care is taken with every component. We've ordered family meals, various entrees and it never disappoints. Their soups are also outstanding -- comforting, deeply flavored, and exactly what you want alongside a Vietnamese meal done right.
