The service was super nice -- the guy was cool and funny. I think he said it's his mom's business and they've been there for 15 years!! You already know that means it's the real deal. We tried: * Spring Rolls: really good, just a solid classic spring roll. * Pho: the broth came out EXTRA hot, exactly how we like it. The flavor was good too -- rich, beefy, and flavorful. Also, the bowl kept the broth hot for a long time, enough for you to actually finish your food while it's still hot, and that's a big extra point for me. We really wanted to come back and try more dishes, but sadly we moved away. We even tried to bring our friends there on our last day in HTX, but they were closed on Monday . My girlfriend and I placed and paid for our lunch order through the Grubhub app. When I arrived to pick it up, the staff insisted the order was not paid for and claimed their online ordering system "doesn't work." Rather than attempting to resolve the issue, they simply dismissed it and argued among themselves, leaving me standing there without any assistance. This isn't the first time we've encountered problems here. Whenever the older staff are working, there always seems to be confusion or an inability to handle basic ordering systems, which results in unnecessary frustration for customers. A restaurant that chooses to accept online orders should be able to honor them and provide a consistent level of service. Unfortunately, this location continues to fall short. read more

Giving this place a 3 due to service. I've been twice. First time there was the sweetest younger lady who gave great service and a good amount of food. Second time, an older lady was very rude, extremely smaller portions and had an attitude when I asked for a second chili sauce. My order was to go. I've been coming here since 2005 when my parents started having a house built. My dad took me here and it was like our spot. Very family friendly. They are staple in the community and I'm so proud of them for being here for so long. Great for couples and solo diners. Tried this because someone on the Nextdoor app said it was the best. It's not a glamorous restaurant and the two ladies cook everything made to order. My husband got the Seafood Pho. He said it was good. I got the beef and white rice. (Bo luc). The beef was melt in your mouth. There was a constant stream of people picking up to go orders. We definitely will be back. Havenot been back in awhile but probably will not come back again. Beef Pho now is pretty much noodle and broth. Extremely paper thin slices of meat that I barely taste anything. And only a few slides swimming in a pool of brown color broth. Just aweful color. This is your typical neighborhood mom and pop store. Nothing fancy about their place simple and clean. The spring rolls are full of fresh shrimps and lettuce dip in the fresh peanut sauces and hot sauce yum. The pho broth is delicious and is full of cilantro and bean spurt and green onions and onion and basil and jalapeno pepper. The beef was marble just right not too much fat. The whole thing was delicious and filling. If you are looking for five stars service this is not the place, but a friendly mom and pop shop this is the place to be. this is one of the best pho i've had in a long time. home made pho are always the best because most places just can't get the broth flavor right. this pho place broth was so flavorful and so good! i was driving around looking for something to eat for lunch and glad i stopped in to try. i did get an order of eggrolls also which wasn't great. it was oily and the meat lacked flavor big time. the texture of the meat was pretty different than any typical eggrolls i've always eaten. meat was kind of overly grounded and mushy. read more

I went in to pick up a to go order and the people were so sweet and very nice, I feel bad writing this review, but once I got home a roach came out of the bag as soon as I opened it. It was so disgusting, my husband and I were freaking out trying to kill it running around my kitchen. I called to let them know what happened and they were trying to accommodate by offering a free meal next time, but after seeing a roach crawl out of my food I don't think I'll be back ever again. read more

No tofu for one of the few vegetarian options. Ordered it without. Vegetarian rolls had rice noodle, lettuce, cilantro and beansprouts in rice paper...thats it. Peanut sauce was ok. The bahn or chicken sandwich was good according to my friend. The vermicelli was ok but since there was no tofu there was also no sause. When I asked about it they replied they had fish sauce or more peanut sause....thats after the fact that I had said that i was a vegitatian like 5 times. Eh. Just another typical Americanize pho shop in Katy. Not so great but I was in dire need of something soupy. Spring rolls were all iceberg lettuce. Eggrolls were kinda mushy inside. Pho broth was extremely dark for some odd reason. I honestly didn't like the fact that the back of the house were talking so loudly on her phone that it echoed all the way to the front.
