We have been loyal to this place for years because the food is pretty good. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely ruins it. The cashier is consistently rude, not just to me, but to everyone in line. There's no friendliness, no patience, and it honestly feels like you're inconveniencing her just by being there. It makes what should be an enjoyable meal end on a sour note. As much as I enjoy their food, the service just isn't worth it. Especially when Pho Dien just opened right down the street and does everything better. Their meat is incredibly tender, the noodles taste freshly made, and the broth is rich and full of flavor. On top of that, the owner is genuinely kind and welcoming, and they have some of the best drinks around. Good food can only carry a restaurant so far. better than a hot bowl of pho! We have already tried most of the nearby spots, so today we decided to check out this one since it had so many reviews. When we got there, the place was packed. Parking can be a little tricky, you will probably need to park behind the building or on the right side, since there are two other stores next door. The restaurant itself was full, with a line even outside, but the wait was not bad at all--about 10 minutes. The staff worked quickly and efficiently, so food came out fast and no one had to wait too long, which I really appreciated. The ambiance is normal to me, nothing really point out to me. Here is what we ordered: * Grilled Beef Spring Rolls: Hands down, our favorite dish of the night. Super flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and the peanut sauce was spot on. Definitely recommend ordering this one. * Pho with Two Meats: The broth was a little bland for my taste--not as rich or beefy as I hoped--and it was not served as hot as I usually like. * Beef Stew (Bo Kho): This also was not piping hot, and the broth leaned more soupy than thick compared to other places I have tried. Also, no carrots in the bowl, which was surprising since that is usually a staple in bo kho. Overall, though, I think this is a solid spot. Love the food! Many authentic Vietnamese dishes to choose from single items to combo plates. This time I went vegetarian and enjoyed the fried tofu with rice and vegetables - sounds bland, but it was delicious. The plate also included a tasty broth. No one compares to this place! I have tried many in Houston, and the broth is what makes the PHO!! I drive here from downtown when I want to indulge in authentic true PHO!!! My favorite is #10 with beef broth. I love the seafood options although PHO is typically beef focused. They serve you right away and provide excellent customer service. They provide reward points where you get $10 off after purchasing a minimal amount of food. I always ask for extra basil and limes...yum! I have tried their other location and it is not the same. Although, that location is close to me. Overall, everything is on point here and you can't go wrong with any of the Pho options. Parking is limited in the front, but you do have ample parking in the back. I have been a patron of Pho Saigon for nearly three years now and believe they are very consistent when it comes to serving a piping hot delicious bowl of pho. The noodles are seldom overcooked like most places and the broth is flavorful. Recently, they've made a big push to expand their brand and rightfully so. Founded in 1998 and celebrating a quarter-century milestone of being in business, they are now around nine (9) locations strong. We have eaten at plenty of excellent pho shops in the Metro D.C. region and Pho Saigon comes very close to what we have had when we lived in the Greater Washington D.C. area. Solid pho place in Katy off Mason Rd. I found myself in Katy wanting Asian food late on a Sunday. Pho Saigon was open and I was surprised to see how packed it was pretty late into the evening. Overall, the pho is delicious and fairly consistent across all Pho Saigon locations with a few exceptions. I ordered a couple bowls of pho for my family plus a Tri color coconut milk-based drink. If I could give negative stars, I would. I ordered two large bowls of pho tai from Pho Saigon and asked that they be packed separately. I picked up my order and placed the bags carefully in my trunk on a completely flat surface -- no bumps, no sharp turns. Just a normal, short drive home. When I got home, I opened my trunk and was horrified to find that one of the bags had been packed so carelessly that the container had tipped or leaked, and over half the pho broth had spilled -- all over the interior of my car. The soup soaked into the carpet and left a greasy, strong-smelling mess. The worst part? I drive a BMW, and now I'm going to have to get the entire trunk professionally cleaned just to get the smell and residue out. This isn't just a small inconvenience -- it's a costly one. I immediately called the restaurant to let them know what happened. At first, I was polite and simply wanted to inform them of the issue. I explained the situation calmly, thinking I'd at least get a sincere apology or maybe some accountability. But instead, the woman on the phone rudely cut me off, denied it ever happened, and basically accused me of lying. Her response was, "That's not possible," as if she knew more about my experience than I did. That's when I got upset -- because being treated like you're making it up, after their mistake damaged your property, is absolutely infuriating. I've ordered from Pho Saigon in the past, but after this experience, never again. It's one thing to make a mistake -- it happens. But to be dismissive, rude, and offer zero accountability is unacceptable. They clearly don't care about their customers once the food leaves the restaurant. There are way too many good pho spots in Houston to waste your money here. Do yourself a favor and skip Pho Saigon -- unless you want ruined upholstery, a steaming bowl of denial, and a side of terrible customer service. read more

This is our second visit to this location, both were awesome. We loved what we had so much the first time that we ordered mostly the exact same thing. My wife got the mi hoanh thanh pho which is an egg noodle soup with Vietnamese wontons, amazing flavor in the broth and we both worked on it. We didn't do any eggrolls this time as we had already blown past our daily carb limits. I thoroughly enjoyed a cafe sua da, iced coffee with condensed milk, I was able to finish this with gusto and ease. I also made a delish grilled pork banh mi disappear.....banh mi thit nuong, it showed up without the fried egg I asked for and as soon as I mentioned it....one showed up, great response time.
