You order at the counter, pay, and then find a clean table. I can't say that I'm a huge fan of paying for a full service meal upfront because they ask also for gratuity upfront. If the service was bad, I don't want to tip more than the standard, and if service was great (or the kids made a mess), then I would want to tip more. We ordered a large selection of dishes for a New Year's Eve lunch for our company. Sandwiches, pho, vermicelli, spring rolls, egg rolls, rice and more. Boy, was the lengthy drive well worth it. We dined here when they first opened. It was just okay. Went here last night for a quick dinner. We both ordered pho and that's not what we were served. I took one look at the broth and immediately knew that this was not pho. It was beef broth from a can. The broth was so dark and salty. There were no pho spices whatsoever. The brisket was undercooked and still tough. It needed another 20 mins of cooking. We are Vietnamese and know what authentic pho tastes like and this isn't it. Very disappointed as we ate at their location by Pearland when it was in a trailer. Even the location on 59S is better. I'm not sure what happened to the food at this location but it is awful. Perhaps their other food is better as they got great reviews, but at this point I'm not sure I can trust these ratings anymore. read more

I stopped here as I was craving a Bành mí and boy did this place not disappoint. From the quick attention to the front desk and welcoming staff they were on point! I had the barbecue pork Bành mí and small Pho Dac Biet that was a perfect size for lunch. The bread was Crispy on the outside and soft in the inside to enjoy without getting bread crumbs all over your mouth and clothes. In addition, to the burst of flavor as soon as you taste the sandwich. I also indulged into spring rolls shrimp and loved they were cut in half sizes just in case you do not want a whole roll. It was perfect for two people. It is a very calm eatery and you can even work from your laptop here with their wifi! I will definitely be making this my go to spot. was super excited to try this place with my family. i've been a big fan of pho binh trailer (rip) since i was a child and been to multiple pho binhs in the htx area. we ordered 2 waters, a thai tea, one chicken pho, one dry chicken pho and one filet mignon and meatball pho. typically pho comes out after ordering within 10-15 mins. we waited over 45 mins. for our food to come out. we never received our waters and even asked for them again and still never received our waters. we were handed only 2 sets of chopsticks and 2 spoons. had to ask for extra spoons and was given plastic to go spoons. i asked for more napkins (liquids + toddlers = MESS) and was given only two sheets..... from my past experience with the other pho binh locations, this was by far the worst. giving two stars bc i do love the other pho binhs but this location needs some major work on service and quality. will keep my business at the other pho binh locations from now on. read more

The pho was disappointing and with all the fixings it became manageable but it was not much protein in my soup. The broth was a bit too watery. We took it upon ourselves to talk to the owner about our issues and he explained that when customers order an appetizer he watches the cameras and waits for them to finish before bringing out the main entree as everything is fresh. He looked pretty nervous to explain this to us and felt as though it was a bad excuse. If he were really watching the cameras for us to finish he would have noticed we were finished with our appetizer and waiting for at least 20 minutes before our food was brought out. Overall our meal was great, my boyfriend enjoyed his food, but my grilled pork was a bit cold for it to have been made fresh to order compared to my bfs Bahn Mi. It is clearly targeted to the demographic in Katy with its quick service layout, which we were not a fan of. The pho is suspiciously dark and was not very flavorful, the meat cuts were different and quite thick. The only thing we really enjoyed was the spicy bone marrow. to say i was devastated when pho binh by night permanently closed was an understatement. i have never had a better broth that is perfectly tangy and salty like that. in my post-closure depression, i decided to try their sister location (i think?) in katy. going from a place that's open til the early hours of the morning to one that closes at 9pm kind of sucks. everyone who works here is super nice. we got the rare steak and brisket pho. the broth wasn't as good as PBBN, but it was still very good. we asked for extra limes but only got 4 slices for 2 people, which in my opinion is a standard amount of limes. the meat was FANTASTIC. the best meat i've had with pho, hands down. we also got the peach iced tea - i asked if we could get it at 25% sweetness, which wasn't a feature on the drink menu, but they let me do it anyway. when you go to any boba place and you say you want your drink to be 25% sweet, it's still overloaded with sugar. i was surprised (in a good way) that our tea was not sweet, but was perfectly balanced by the lychee jelly. overall, not a substitution for PBBN, but very good. read more
