Went there for lunch today and while the service was very nice and friendly. My meal was very meh. I ordered the Grilled Pork Vermicelli bowl. The pork was very thin, dry and overcooked. The carrot and daikon pickled vegetables were not very pickled and thus not very flavorful. The cucumber which should be crisp and fresh instead was dry. The fish sauce dressing that normally accompanies it was very very fish sauce flavor and I normally like it and use it when ordering that dish. Entering was very nice as it was a very friendly and welcoming gentleman that took my order was very helpful and extremely nice. I got my food to go, but while I waited, I didn't notice that the sound in the restaurant echoes and you hear everyone's conversation, especially larger groups. I noticed how they bring out the pho and it was amazing when I got my food home I didn't notice that it wasn't as hot as normal. What I can say is the broth was good, but it could use a little more flavor as I'd like to try the broth without adding any extra spices first the eggrolls were delicious and I really like these spicy pepper taste to them. I do wish they gave me more lettuce because I do like to wrap my egg rolls in the lettuce with the daikon we dipped for the egg rolls was very authentic. read more

This was my first time ordering from here and was looking forward to trying as i've seen such positive reviews on here but unfortunately that wasn't my experience. I ordered the Wonton Pho with Chicken add-on and Crispy Fried Egg Rolls. As I began to fix my bowl of soup I bit into one of the wontons and noticed a strange taste and texture which prompted me to look at it. I was completely shocked to see that it was fully raw on the inside!!! I've never had an experience like this before at any restaurant. It seems as if these weren't cooked in the slightest way. I know pork can be pink at times so that's what I was contemplating at first but this had a glossy, slimy texture. While the store did refund me and was apologetic, I still find this very upsetting and concerning! This is an extreme health violation and I should have never been served this! Great vibes from the moment I stepped inside! We went for a late night dinner around 8:30 pm on a Sunday night and all the bright lights from the chandeliers lit the restaurant very nicely. There were a few people inside already and a couple more came after us. Service was fantastic. Our server was super kind and the staff was attentive. We ordered a small pho with rare steak & tendon and the Mi Quang. Both very good and nice balanced, clean flavor. Only thing was they seemed to skimp on the broth for my Mi Quang a bit - not sure if that was intentional. Items were a bit pricey also, but I guess for the area that's the going rate. A friend decided to take us for Pho as I have never had it, but have always wanted to try it. So she took us to her favorite place Triple S. They made the supreme mistake of putting a menu with pics in front of me and we ended up with three dishes and two appetizers, garlic wings and spring rolls with shrimp and beef added. The rolls were huge and so good they were gone in very short time! And the wings were crispy and packed so full of flavor they would have been gone as well, but the main course started showing up. The Pho was absolutely delicious the broth was hearty tasting with loads of noodles and very tender beef. The shrimp garlic noodles was decimated mostly by me, was cooked to perfection the noodles were tender, shrimp cooked just right not a bit rubbery and just the right amount of garlic ie: a lot! The brown rice platter had to be taken home as we were so full we didn't even make it to it, but had it the next day. And even being reheated it was awesome the pork chops were well seasoned not a bit fatty or chewy. The servicer was a young gentle and his service was excellent always checking to see if we needed anything without being intrusive. The ambiance was casual and family friendly. Decided to venture out to someplace new today for lunch. I found this hidden gem tucked away in a little strip mall on Barker Cypress. I started with hot tea and ordered the shrimp spring rolls with the build your own option for the vermicelli bowl. I couldn't decide on the protein so I added both shrimp and chicken. I also added a side of steamed broccoli. The bowl came with the fish and hoisin sauces on the side so you can add as much or as little as you like. The vegetables were crisp and everything tasted fresh. I definitely enjoyed the meal. The server was courteous and efficient. The lobby was neat, clean and tidy. They played instrumental jazz that was relaxing and not too loud. I'll definitely be back to try many of their other offerings as he mentioned they recently added curry to their menu. read more

Always seen this driving by and after a cold day finally decide to eat here. Not really the best experience. Unfortunately we did go on a busy night but that doesn't excuse a few things. Apps came out with the mea instead of before. Water / beverages came out after the food. The plates of veggies for the pho had to be asked for after 7-8 minutes and almost another 9-10 mins to actually get it, which is a long time if you are waiting for that, to eat. Wow! What an amazing meal I had at Triple S on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is hidden in a strip on Barker Cypress, but the inside is modern and cozy with friendly staff. There are many dishes and drinks to choose from. I personally LOVED the garlic noodle with filet mignon. The filet was so tasty and practically melted in my mouth. I will definitely be back for this dish alone. Everything else - the pho, banh mi, egg rolls, and spring rolls were great as well. No complaints here! read more

They didn't have a seafood for although they'd have a shrimp for I like that you could even in taking the orders to go, you could make some different modifications to be able to have the soup meter needs The meat was delicious. The broth had a nice flavor to it. A nice depth. The fried eggrolls were good. These spring rolls parking lot right in front is busy but there's a lot of parking beyond that front level. I used to like this place and then I placed an order online. it accepted the order took my money and then when I go pick up my order, they say they didn't get it and they close the door in my face so the customer service sucks. The food was okay not the best pho I have had. Service wasn't good. I ordered on uber eats for pick up and walked up to the cashier desk where I saw my food. I stood around for maybe 45 seconds waiting to be helped while two employees continued to talk. They then said "give me a minute" and walked away for about 3-4 minutes. Mind you, I haven't been greeted with a hello or anything friendly. When the employee finally came back to the register I told him my name and my order. He acted so confuse as if I didn't order anything....while I'm actively looking at my food. I came on a Sunday around noon. There were two small families eating inside when I walked in and The service was HORRIBLE. You had to stop and ask the guy just to bring you a menu, napkins, your drink, and food after you previously asked and ordered it after waiting 30 minutes. The eggroll appetizer that I ordered first never came and went to another table who didn't have it(that was the best item). When I finally got the Fried Eggrolls, it was 10 minutes after I'd already started eating my pho. They messed up on my order twice (I ordered lemongrass beef w/ fried rice, chicken garlic noodles, fried Eggrolls, and a small beef pho). The other ppl that were present in the place were given either one of my plate or another's order. Then when you told them it wasn't your food, the guy from the kitchen comes to the front to give some excuse and then brings you plates of what was missing and gives another excuse. I ended up paying $60 worth of subpar food/service after all the mishaps. For this place to have been popular on TikTok, it's a NO Go! ‍ Their food is NO Different from any other Vietnamese Pho & grill spot in Houston. No wonder they're hiring for Help!
