I have always been a fan of Jinya since my first time at their midtown location over more than a decade ago. Fast forward to 2026 and I have become an even bigger fan of this particular location. My niece and I absolutely love coming here for their spicy creamy vegan ramen. It has just the right amount of spice and the flavor of the broth is actually oh-so-delicious! Service is always just as great as the ramen. Must order items besides the ramen are the Brussels sprouts tempura, edamame, and the shrimp tempura. I have also tried their miso eggplant appetizer which was good but I do wish that the eggplant was sliced evenly throughout the dish so that it would have the same texture throughout the entire dish. Some pieces were cooked perfectly while others were not tender because of the cut. Regardless the flavor was still there. Really want to try their chicken ramen next because I feel like this particular location makes everything tastes wayyy better than the other ones I have tried in Houston lol. read more

this is my second time visiting, the first one was dining, and I remember I ask to the tall asian guy since he looks like he goes to the gym: what meals has high protein and he hasn't any clue to answer me, he answered the bowl. but on my second visit i ordered 3 happy meals at the Bar but the lady was so busy and it took like 15 min to take my order, another 20 min to make my food, and i didn't see anybody supporting her. They forgot my ice cream for the 3 meals and I call the store and a guy said they don't put the ice cream because It can melt, i just think they should say it like (ice cream not included to go). Because the kids get excited and if they don't see it they get mad lol. 2 stara for be welcome and say Welcome in Japanese when you get in, and the second star Is for the food at least that's great. read more

I love a good ramen in a cold climate, & obviously nothing beats JINYA ramen. Surprisingly, the wait wasn't that bad, since I went on a weekday. I've tried their non alcoholic drinks and it was so refreshing. If you enjoy a nice cozy dinner with a perfect ambiance, it's a must try. The only thing I didn't like was how the waitress kept asking "are you guys good?" I understand, she's trying to know if we need anything but it felt as if she wanted us to leave. It's good to ask but it was more than 5 times. Other than that, everything was beautiful & my tummy was happy !! read more

I love the announcements when you walk in and when you're leaving! Nothing makes me feel more special!!! I finally got the chance to visit Jinya with my family and we had such an amazing experience! The curry balls were probably my favorite dessert and the margarita was made just right!! Enjoyable. I'd also like to mention that the kids menu is A LOT!! And thank goodness cuz my twins can put some food away! Noodles +chicken and the rice was amazing! My husband and I had the spicy noodles and added wontons and broccoli...it was great! I love that they have a bar area kinda separate from the other area. While the place isnt too big, it's good enough! read more

We absolutely love Jinya! The ramen bowls taste the same no matter what location you visit. Very consistent with soup but maybe not so much the drinks. Service is good and they are always checking on you even if you don't make eye contact. You can feel rushed sometimes when it comes to ordering. Every location looks the same and is clean but the table for 2 is rather small. Overall the BEST ramen we have tried and will keep coming back! Try the curry rice if you like curry! read more

This is a pretty cool place. The small plates are delicious! I had gyoza , JINYA bun, and edamame The other ordered spicy creamy vegan ramen, flying vegan ramen, and vegan red fire opal ramen. I got to taste each one and I have to say the spicy creamy vegan ramen was my favorite. Be sure to order the chili oil on the side if you don't like spice. We sat outside around the fire. Pretty cool. Our waitress was very attentive and provided awesome service! read more

Jinya is my go to comfort ramen because I know it will be delicious every time. The broth is so rich and fatty it melts in your mouth. Their eggs are soft boiled with a nice marinade. They greet you when you enter and leave giving it a very Japanese cozy feel. The service is always pretty quick. Plenty of parking available, even an outside seating option. You can never go wrong with choosing Jinya as a ramen place! It does get expensive once you add extras so expect to pay about $15-$20 a bowl! Always worth going back though! read more

Great place for Pho. Whenever my daughter is back in town from college this is must have. The flying vegan harvest is the best.

My husband and I went for happy hour and it was delish. We ordered, the crispy chicken, crispy rice w/spicy tuna and the pork bao from the HH menu. And b/c you don't go to Jinya w/o getting ramen, my husband had the new birria ramen and I had the tonkotsu black ramen. Both were deliciously flavorful. I also had the lychee matcha mocktail which was superb. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant without being overbearing. read more

Jinja Ramen restaurant in Cypress, Texas is part of a chain network that are usually franchised but very consistent with quality of product and service. When you first walk in they greet you in Japanese normally get you seated right away as long as they're not busy and are quick to get you a menu and get your order started.I normally order the. I normally order the chicken, dumpling Ramen and get extra chicken dumplings and it is always on point and delicious. Came here on Christmas Eve for a quick lunch. I love this location. I come here often. It's pretty clean, service is great and their ramen tastes the best. There are other franchises but this one always serves it hot and fresh. I ordered the Spicy Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Chicken Ramen extra hot, no spinach, no bean sprouts, add an egg and my husband ordered the chefs special. He said the chefs special was great! I love this Jinya because they're consistent. My Spicy Chicken Ramen was hot, the chicken was tender and the egg is always perfectly cooked for me. Overall. - great ramen spot, trendy ambiance, great for groups and date / family night. read more

Yippie! I found my new ramen spot. I checked them out for lunch today and was greeted and seated right away. We got the fried chicken, JINYA bun, egg plant they were all good. The egg plant was my favorite. I got the JINYA Black Ramen and my friends got the level 6 Red Ramen-she was struggling. Both of those were fantastic. Inside was clean and they even have fire pits inside and out. Our waitress was really cool and seemed happy about helping us. She knew the menu very well and gave recommendations. I will be back and signed up for rewards; free ramen here I come. I also want to win the trip. read more

Super nice place for lunch or dinner! I'm not a huge ramen fan and the last time I came I didn't enjoy what I got, but this time it exceeded my expectations. Our waiter was super friendly and we got seared immediately as a party of 7. The service was quick and our waiter answered all of our questions and requests quickly. The ramen was perfectly flavored and I got it spicy, which was absolutely delicious. The addition of corn, garlic and an egg took it over the top. I had enough leftovers for dinner and let me tell you it was much spicier than before due to everything being soaked up in the broth. Would definitely come back just for creamy vegan ramen! It is absolutely delicious even if you aren't vegan. read more

OK, I like ramen in general... but JINYA in Cypress? I'm in love. Like, I dream about this place. Their Sprouting Up Ramen (secret menu, btw!) is next-level. It has roasted Brussels sprouts in it--yes, Brussels sprouts in ramen--and it's SO good. The flavor is unreal, the noodles are thicker and perfectly chewy, and the broth? Chef's kiss. Nothing else even comes close. I've had ramen from a bunch of places, but this one ruins all the others for me in the best way. If you haven't been, go. And trust me--ask for the Sprouting Up Ramen. read more

Get the sushi.... The flavors there were outstanding. Has a classy drink interior. The Ramen was also very good. Not too expensive.

Am I the last person to experience the beauty of Jinya..hypothetical question, but the answer is likely so. I'm late to the party but this spot exceeded my casual lunch expectations, especially from a standardized multi-location joint. Hana flavored sake lychee-yes please! Served cold- I'm in! Awesome service even when in the weeds-I'll take it! In terms of food, I ordered a few light bites. The portions were filling enough to make a mini-meal. The mini sushi cones were expensive for what they were but delicious, like a nicely indulgent hand roll. The grilled rice tuna was also indulgent, the spice from the jalapeño was a perfect addition. Yes! To all of it. Bonus- on a cooler day, 20 can fit around the fire pit outside. I'd image this would make for a pretty solid sunset dinner with friends. All and all, don't be like me, don't sleep on Jinya! read more

Second time at a Jinya and theg did not disappoint. Buffalo cauliflower app was on point Tan tan men ramen was absolutely delicious -- ordered spicy and it was perfection. The food was too salty and there were hardly any gluten free options which isn't a big deal if you're not gluten sensitive but we only went there because they use to have gluten free ramen. The matcha lemonade looked better than it tasted. It tasted like artificial chemicals and was way too sweet. The table was also sticky and gross like they haven't cleaned it. read more

I had the best experience at Jinya recently and had to get in here to share. Cheyenne was our server and she was so peppy and energetic despite it being after 8pm at night! She was super quick about cleaning off our table of any trash and got our orders quickly. It's sad to say but lately, our experience dining out in general at restaurants has not been great with service, so we were very impressed with our service at Jinya! The food is always delicious and was the perfect comfort food on a cold rainy day. I got tonkatsu black with a side of corn and it was packed with so much flavor. The egg was also perfectly cooked and seasoned well. There are mostly small booths for smaller parties and a community table in the center. The atmosphere is very warm and modern. We were so pleased with our experience here! read more

Megan was the absolute best! We luckily got here before the rush. She was always checking in on her multiple tables and bringing out a lot of food. She always had a smile on her face and made sure we're happy and ok. We ordered the crispy chicken, watermelon delight, spicy chicken ramen, umami spicy miso ramen, and the tonkotsu ramen. Everything was delicious! My partner said that his miso ramen was a rad bit too creamy. The spicy sauce on the table made it so much better. He also got his vegetables on the side with no problem. read more

We have been to Jinya Ramen bar a few times and the Ramen is always really good. I had the spicy chicken Ramen and it was good but the spicy level was really mild. My daughter had the one with the Yuzu and it was really good with nice citrus taste. Husband had the chicken wonton ramen and it was completely flavorless and tasted like chicken noodle soup. Little disappointing. He will try something else next time. Overall this place has good service and great ambiance. Good place to go for a good Ramen in cypress. read more
