Not a place to eat if you want microwave food.. No Tap service or Apple Pay as of 8/15/2026.. Cheap drinks and racial prejudice, great stop by and go before you get home. Ambiance is great if you not of color.. read more

Hubby and I visited Scary Canary Saturday evening and it was a great experience. Nice interior with plenty of seating! It's seat yourself but a waitress will come to serve you. Kitchen closes at 10:30 and food service is fast! After 10:30pm we did see a table order pizza so that's available. We ordered an appetizer, entree and drinks and sat outside on the patio for a little bit. We definitely will be back! read more

Travis was my bartender. After a long travel day (4.5 hr drive and 5hr show), and a full bar, he was quick, aware, and service was beyond great. He works Monday -Wednesday I believe. Worth a visit for genuine attentiveness read more

Pros: Unpretentious milieu with chill vibe Personable staff Dim lighting Cheap drinks Cons: French Fries are too spicy. Served asked, "How are the fries"? I said, "Hot". She said, "No worries I'll get you some that aren't". Bonus points! read more

This cool little bar has been down the street and around the corner for some time. Cheap beers, darts, pool, and a pretty awesome atmosphere! Service was fast and not as many people at a city bar. (Already is on top of the local bars because of that). We only tried the fry basket, and the fries alone were super good. Me and my friend played darts all night! The only downfall is that the entire bar smells so strong, like cigarettes! It's very overpowering when you are trying to eat and even just enjoy your time. I would definitely come back and order one of their plates to try more of their food. May eat outside, though! I have been hearing pretty great things about their food. read more

Drinks prices are amazing . Manager is great making sure you are taken care. Also a smoking pub , so have to give it 4 stars. .

Drinks get three stars because bar staff is friendly! Love Stephanie , so nice! However I keep forgetting that the inexperienced guy cooking does not know what he is doing so food is not real good. read more

Cool little bar, drinks are cheap and ambiance is chill, played some fun darts there and met cool ppl, shoutout to "Tiny"

Nice selection and a lot of regulars here. Pros. -dart and pool table -lots of available parking Cons. -menu brews are out of stock -dirty canned beers -smells like heavy cigarettes (smoking allowed inside) read more

Scary Canary Pub - a can of beer on the bar - Dive Bars Near Me - Houston, Texas

This is a hidden gem in cypress and great for hanging with friends. We got some of the food and it was pretty good for bar food.

Atmosphere, food and plenty of room to catch your favorite game and meet your friends.

Very nice place. The bartenders are really nice and service is 5 star. Bigger then I thought it would be. Good food and ambiance. I'll be back soon. read more

I've been here several times in the last few months. On my 2nd visit the bartenders remembered my name and the drink I ordered! Very impressive! The staff is not only attentive, but friendly as well! You feel very welcome here! Right now, on Tuesday, they serve pork and brisket tacos and they are DELICIOUS!!! Best tacos I've had in a long time! I would suggest that they add a chicken option because I bet that would taste awesome, too! They currently serve bone-in wings half-off on Wednesdays with several sauce flavors which are all good! This place also has EXCELLENT drink prices! This bar allows smoking, but it is big enough and ventilated enough that if you are not sitting right at the bar it shouldn't be too bothersome for non-smokers. read more

Cool little spot. Very chill atmosphere. They do allow smoking but you can just find a different table. Duh. The food is here is bomb too! The wings were amazing! Can't beat a $2 well either but the pretty bartenders will definitely hook you up! Oh they have karaoke too! Pools tables. Darts. Long table for groups or you can slum it at the bar. And you can shake that thang about anywhere. Clean restrooms (definitely a plus). Hey you might even see me there... read more

Been to this place a couple times and it's a really nice little spot to hang out with friends. The decor is really unique it has a old scottish bar kind of vibe. The prices are affordable. They have a couple pool tables and darts so you and your competitive friends can play. They also have plenty of TVs at the bars for all the sports. Definitely try this place put. read more

Very racist establishment! The moment you walk in, you can't help but observe the very large confederate flag and terrible smell! However the wing special was decent so I returned. On my 2nd visit I was accosted with yells of the N-word and to "get out!" all while simply eating and enjoying my friend's company. Management did nothing. I immediately asked for my check and left as we were in fear of our safety! I do not recommend this establishment to anyone of color and will never return! Two words my friends...DONT GO!!! read more

Here on Saturday night decent bar but the smell is strong to Cigarette. The music is a DJ box at least for tonite. They Have a wide variety of beer .. I think here is a mix crowd old and young since the Music varies. But no EDM or Mexican. read more

Another place with plastic garbage darts.. why do owners get rid of proper darts and put in pay-to-play kiddie darts? It's so they can take more money out of your pockets to play a game that's been free for over 200 yrs read more

This place has moved mountains. The owner of the establishment really made over this bar as it was not as awesome on the inside as it is now. Music is just right, pool tables, darts, not smokey at all, the whole shebang. We've been a couple times and will continue to return! A+ read more

Awesome neighborhood bar always have a good time when I go there if I'm day drinking or night drinking

Terrible service. You have to ask for everything. Water, drink refills. The place was barely full and I could hardly get a drink. I hope they get their act together soon. It's a hidden location so it would really be nice if the staff and manager had a little more personality to actually make you want to stay in there. We felt like we were bothering them. We had crawfish which were good, but the service s is insanely slow. read more

This is a nice sportsbar with good daily drink and food specials. They DO allow indoor smoking. Fortunately, all 3 smokers were at the bar on this Friday at 3 pm.
