He was the only person on the floor and was handling each customer with care. We had a take out order but sat at the bar while we waited. The music is a mix of EDM, Hip-hop, Rap, and R&B. They have tables and bar top seating. If you have a bigger group, I'm sure you can find a table depending on the time you arrive. Every single one of those ribs I devoured, no meat was left on my plate. The location itself has a really nice view of the lake with plenty of outdoor seating available. Our server, Chase, was fantastic! She took wonderful care of us throughout our meal, keeping everything running smoothly despite how busy it was. The food overall was enjoyable. We tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay and didn't quite live up to what I was hoping for. However, the Philly eggrolls were delicious! We also ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp, which is an absolute favorite of mine from my usual home location in Memorial. My biggest critique of this location comes down to those three-tiered motorized robot servers. Personally, I'm really not a fan. I feel like they cheapen the dining experience rather than elevate it. I don't quite understand the point when a human server--often just whichever nearby staff member happens to be passing by, rather than your actual server--still has to take the food off the tray and place it on your table. It ends up feeling inconsistent and impersonal. I know AI and tech are here to stay and I embrace it where it fits, but we have to ask ourselves: does this actually enhance the customer experience? In my opinion, it doesn't, and those bots must have cost a pretty penny!It's truly a shame to have stellar, personal service from someone like Chase alongside good food, only for the overall experience to feel just "fair" because of a robot cart delivering dishes. I definitely prefer my home location in Memorial. It's smaller, quieter, much easier to park, and thankfully isn't running robot servers (at least not yet!). I run a local social club and we have a WhatsApp group where I shared Cork It and we decided to meetup here on a Tuesday evening. When I arrived at 6pm, there were only 4 people at the bar. We slowly had people from our group trickle in and I would say by 7-8pm, there were about 12 of us in total. We took up 4 of the tables, however there was still plenty of bar/lounge seating as well as a large table in the corner for other patrons. The service was incredibly slow. Took about 10 mins per person to place and receive a drink order, food took a significantly long time. From 6-8pm, I only had the chance to order one drink. Mind you, there were never more than 15-20 patrons at one time (including our group). None of us complained or were upset about the service/wait time. When I went to close out, the bartender complained to me about bringing in so many people and said I should have booked an event/party with them so they "could have been prepared." This wasn't a party or event I was hosting. This was quite literally 12 people who arrived at different times, sitting at open tables or the bar to socialize and order a drink/menu item. In this economy and with how much local places are struggling, I cannot imagine telling a customer they "brought in too much business." I was told Tuesdays are usually "dead." It seemed like she just didn't want to have to actually be busy for 2 hours. As a local community organizer/supporter, I cannot continue to support any place that complains about new customers. If they do not want groups, that's something that could have been shared as we started filling up their tables. Any bar that can't comfortably handle 15 patrons at a time is clearly inexperienced and not expecting to grow. To act like we overwhelmed them is wild. I would think the goal for any bar would be to have their tables taken up at prime dinner time.

They acted giddy and happy to help us put everything together, reassuring us that they would be there to support us on our big day. That all changed the moment they got paid. On the day of the event, we only saw the owners twice, and neither time was to help us. When I walked up to the owner to thank him for having us, his response was completely unprofessional: "Are you kidding? This is for you, you paid for it." The only other time he approached us was to aggressively complain about someone taking up two parking spots--and it wasn't even one of our guests. They also explicitly promised they would check on us throughout the event to see if we needed refills on water or drinks. They completely ghosted. We never saw them, and our guests were left without service. It has been three weeks since the event, and we haven't received a single follow-up call or text to ask how things went. They got their money and completely checked out. Nice place, but terrible owners and even worse service. Never again will we book with them. Save your money and go somewhere where the staff actually cares about your business.
