From DFW but was in the area visiting friends. I was at another establishment for dinner and a drink and asked for a neighborhood bar nearby where I could hang out for a few hours. Nikki's was recommended. Had a wonderful time playing tunes and being served by Susan. Also had a couple good conversations. You can tell this place has a lot of loyal regulars many of which had to stop in for a few minutes to connect with their comrades. It's an old "dive bar" as they call them but couldn't have felt more at home. read more

Nikki's is a neighborhood dive good for no frills beers and mixed drinks. I've come by for a few happy hours with co-workers and have always had friendly service and a couple cold beers. As far as perks go, there's a table in the corner with a crock pot chugging away for the confident to grab a free bite. They've got a pool table, a jukebox and a small smokers patio out back in the alley. Beyond that, grab a bar stool and drink. They don't have a massive selection of beers on tap, or much top shelf booze, but if you temper your expectations, you should be happy enough with the outcome. read more

Worst bartender ever. Her name was Lauren and she dropped our card behind the bar and she insisted she gave it back to us. When we told her she didn't she told us to get the " fuck out" we asked her to look for the card and she said she wasn't going to look through the "hundreds" of cards she had. She eventually found it on the floor behind the bar. She never apologized and flung the card at us. Worst service ever. Do not go here! read more

Got out of my car and stepped on an empty whipit charge. I suppose it's related to the smoke shop being next door. Whatever. It looks like a dive joint but it's not. Its rather clean and neat actually. Was expecting good beer but they have only karbach & st Arnold. The rest is crap. This place could be great with better beer. They are using liquor meters on the shots. Kind of takes the neighbor out of neighborhood bar. What's the point? I expect that with a trendy bar which this is not. They have a back patio which is nice. The have bar food, didn't try any. I passed this place many times and finally stopped by. It's forgettable. Its definitely a regulars type place. If you live nearby maybe this would be a place for you. I probably won't go back. Meter that. read more

This is the best dive in town! All of the bartenders are awesome and the regulars are all great people. It's a great place to stop by after work and take a load off around some cool people.
