Paired with their seasoned dirty rice, their fluffy, buttery biscuits and perfectly seasoned french fries, it was a match made in heaven. I also had to try the famous Bo Berry biscuit, and it did not disappoint, warm, sweet, bursting with blueberries and that classic glaze that makes it impossible to stop at just one. Of course, no Southern meal is complete without a tall cup of sweet tea, and theirs was exactly what I hoped for: strong, refreshing, and perfectly sweetened like grandma made it. We ordered on the app and picked up in the drive thru. The attendant was friendly and told us to pull up to the stop sign to wait for fresh food. The Steak Biscuit and Bo-Tato Rounds came out hot. I liked the biscuit, but the steak was too thin and got lost. My wife said, "It kind of tastes like Grandy's, but Grandy's was better," it has to have been 40 years since she's eaten there. The real star for me was the Bo-Tato Rounds! I would go back just for those. They were hot, flaky and just greasy enough to have that forbidden "it's bad for you" tater bliss!

While each location has been wonderful, my wife and I have always come back to the Cypress location not just for the great food but the waitstaff, management and cooks have been spot-on in everything that we have ordered whether we were in for just the two of us, our extended family as well as having our church group come in for food. We have had multiple different dishes and each one have been proportioned enough that we have taken leftovers home to enjoy later. The 2-3 times that there has been an issue with our order, the waitstaff and management went out of their way to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. The Sunday Brunch is a must have with so many options from your normal brunch fair to the full menu. This restaurant is highly recommended as a go-to place for great food, atmosphere and enjoyability for whatever occasion that you might be having.

Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. She brought me my cinnamon roll after I asked for a refund, I relayed that message to granddaughter. My review reflects on her unwelcoming hostess mentioned.. I was also met with pages of messages on Instagram from their personal page after this review that I KINDLY responded to on how they no longer served us. Apparently you can't be open and honest on yelp without being banned from this restaurant. Lack of professionalism and ability to accept open criticism is clearly an issue & displayed here. Being labeled as much considering the close and friendly relationships I've had with the staff here is disappointing, disgraceful, and disrespectful. I will not longer be commenting on this as of 06/17/2026. 06/16/2026: I am a regular. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed my meal and/or experience here from start to finish here.
