I love that eggs are included, if you don't have eggs, is it really a boil? The crawfish was so good, I'm from NOLA, so I'm VERY picky about my seafood. I only go to two places. I've never sat in to eat, it's always a to-go order. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The owner is amazing, when she's there, she always thanks the customers for their business, and I appreciate that. The ambiance is average restaurant decor. Came to the restaurant didn't seem that busy there wasn't a lot of to go orders going in and out. There's probably five other tables there ended up waiting 15 minutes to get the food. There is no communication from any staff that the weight would be that long nor was there a conversation throughout those 50 minutes, took him about 17 minutes, just to bring us glasses of water that we just tap water put some ice in there. I feel like it can be cleaner. Never like you when there's things that need to be fixed like the door knob in the men's restroom. There's no handle on the inside. But when we did have service, it was friendly and courteous. It's not proactive. It's all reactionary. Food was delicious freshly cooked hot flavorful so give it four stars for the food. It was great, not exceptional. Service I gave a three stars because there's average got more attention after we asked why the heck he was taking so long to get the food The atmosphere I'm gonna give us three need to clean some things up. Me and my wife went here tonight and we both had the #10 platter it had the fry fish and shrimp with fries and hush puppies, everything was great and what I love the most was the hush puppies, they were so tasty delicious I wish we had more, the fries were hot and so good as well. The place is cute. It definitely markets to a certain demographic. I felt like some of the prices were high. The crab flavor was good, though it didn't taste fresh. It wasn't fishy but tasted like it was frozen. Half the legs were half empty instead of being filled with meat. The shrimp were the best part, though on the smaller size. They give you a ton of potatoes in one serving and one boiled corn. I liked the spicy the cashier recommended. The fried corn was different. It had like a lemon pepper seasoning that just didn't seem to go with the rest of what we were eating, and we only ate a couple bites. The hushpuppies were probably one of the best things we had, and we ordered a second side of them. They serve a bunch of daiquiri, though they tasted a little freezer burnt to me. So I'm not sure how often they're changed out. We opted for beer, and they do have great prices on draft beer. The cashier and staff were nice, though they really looked like they were just there to do their job and leave. I might give them another try during crawfish season. read more

We ordered the loaded platter which was more than enough food for two people to share. It came with 3 snow crab clusters and loads of shrimp in addition to corn and potatoes. I believe our flavor choice was king me ~ so aiming for more spice/heatness to the boil. The shrimp were headless peeled and devined which I love. However, I was not the biggest fan of the actual flavor of the sauce. It tasted super buttery to me and therefore I couldn't really appreciate any of the other spices. The presentation was amazing and truly the food did come out so quick which we appreciated but the flavor just wasn't what we were looking for. My girlfriend was craving crawfish, so we decided to check out Krab Kingz Cypress. With plenty of great reviews and a solid 10-year run, we figured it would be a good choice. First Impressions & Ordering: The parking lot was full, so we had to park across the street--usually a good sign that a place is popular. When we walked in, we realized you order at the counter. No big deal, but there wasn't a dedicated cashier, so we waited 10-15 minutes for one of the staff to come take orders. When we ordered two crawfish specials, they told us the wait time would be about an hour. Fair enough--it's peak crawfish season, and happy hour was still going on, so we decided to grab some drinks and wait. Drinks & Service: Happy hour prices were solid--$3 for a cold beer and $5 for a large, strong frozen drink. However, reordering drinks was unnecessarily frustrating. You'd think you could order at the bar, but nope--you have to go back to the main counter and wait in the same slow-moving line as new food orders. One of the times I went to reorder, the group in front of me left because they were told they were out of crawfish--at 7 or 7:30 on a Friday night. Crawfish & Food Quality: After about an hour, our crawfish finally arrived. It was... fine. The flavor was good, and they were mostly cooked right, but the size was underwhelming. It's mid-March, not super early in the season, so I expected better. About 20% of my 3 lbs were nice and large, but another 20% were pretty small. The potatoes, corn, and butter that came with the special were tasty, though. Staff & Overall Experience: One thing I will say--the staff was very nice and polite, despite the chaos. They were doing their best, but it was clear that the overall disorganization was the real issue. The lack of a dedicated cashier, the inefficient drink ordering process, and running out of crawfish during peak hours all point to a management problem, not a staff problem. Final Thoughts: Krab Kingz has potential to be great, but until they improve their organization and service flow, the experience will continue to feel frustrating. If they can streamline the ordering process and better manage their inventory, this could be a top-tier spot. I placed a phone order for future time. Some folks customer service need some training. When delivering items to a table is polite to ask if anything is needed. Especially with paying customers who is willing to drive over half an hour to do business. My food was Luke warm. The fried lobster was like warm. And spots of the crust was soggy from the steam. The snow crab meat got cold quickly. They missed replacing the egg for a corn. They remade the crab shrimp and potatoes. Did not replace the soggy lobster tail. Since Leon said it was gone when he visit the table. Cool. Jessica is so pleasant and is still in training her energy is warm and apologetic and appreciative. I appreciate her attempts to smooth the unpleasant visit. I'm in no rush to come back. I'll wait till they have years of experience like the original location. Walking in we could tell this place was popular! They have happy hour 3-6 weekdays with $5 daiquiris. We ordered the 1 krab bunch lunch special for $17.99 and the catfish 2 piece for $14.99 with a medium daiquiri. The staff were cool, and the ambiance is great. I found the food to be lacking compared to the price point. I fail to understand how only seasoning the butter makes for good food. Why wouldn't you season the actual food too? They only seasoned one side of the corn cob. Only the crab shell got any kind of seasoning. The tools they gave were plastic that broke. The spicy sausage was a regular sausage in a bowl of seasoned butter that lacked any heat. The catfish was mid and the only seasoning was the leftover butter from the sausage. No lemon wedges. No hot sauce. They gave me plastic utensils that didn't cut a damn thing. My utensils shouldn't bend when I'm eating. For what turned out to be $82 I expected better and was disappointed. This place has such a good atmosphere and good people working there that it would be a shame for this to be the standard. Hopefully this was a one-off, and this doesn't happen to anyone else. Okay, let's get into it! Was one of my go to spots for crab legs and crab boil. So I've been to the physical location several times and also have ordered delivery several times. Pros: - nice variety and menu selections - you can place pick up orders - specials during non peek times weekdays - you can order delivery via Uber - nice location and decor - when I come in during the week a lady who I assume to be a manager always makes it a point to have conversation with me and make me feel seen, if that makes sense. Cons: - the food quality lately has been inconsistent. Some times its spot on, other times it's watery/soggy, other times it's over cooked. - the to-go packing is not sustainable. They use to provide large aluminum pans with lids for large orders back in the food truck days. Those pans held the sauce well. However, now they divide everything into smaller Styrofoam containers, this packaging always causes the sauce to leak all over the bag no matter what you do. I haven't ordered from here in a while because I don't like rolling the dice when it comes to the quality of the food for the price. However, I may give them another shot in the future. read more
