We stopped by here on a Thursday evening. It was fairly empty. They provided chips and dip as we waited. The dip was an interesting mix of salsa, queso and Cajun red beans. For an appetizer, we had the Cajun empanadas. They were good and the only reason why I'm giving the restaurant three stars. Entrees - My friend ordered a fish dish that they seemed to like. I ordered the étouffée. When it arrived, there was hair in it. I had to send it back. They sent out a new one, but it tasted like they dumped an entire bottle of black pepper into it. I don't know if it was purposefully made that way since I didn't taste the first batch. However, as a New Orleans native, it wasn't close what I was used to, but I wasn't expecting it to taste exactly like home. I ended up only eating the side salad. Servers were helpful and friendly, although I did have to wait quite a while for someone to take my to go order. The food was tasty and my favorite bite was the boudin balls with sauce, absolutely delicious. The shrimp poboy was also tasty. My only complaint was the catfish poboy. The amount of fish was very disappointing. The catfish was one measly filet that only covered half of the sandwich, very disappointing considering it costs like $16 bucks. read more

Don't be in a hurry, but they do oysters right. Services nowadays is suspect with lack of help but they try hard! Gumbo is real, same for the red beans. Restrooms are clean, ambiance is good and not super loud. I'll be back! read more

What a great place! We were looking for non-meat items for Lent. We have been here a few times and they have the BEST po-boy bread (If you know you know). I was craving crawfish and ordered two pounds. It is the beginning of the crawfish season so they weren't super large (as expected) but they tasted amazing. My husband and daughter got shrimp po boys that were great! Our experience was so great the entire time. We were so lucky to have the best waiter (David). He made the experience even better. One thing that sets BB's apart from others is their chips and dip that you get upon arrival. It is amazing. Thank you BB's for a wonderful dinner tonight. We will be back soon! read more

So happy they've opened a BBs in Cypress. So close to home. Their crawfish is one of the best I've ever had. I always order their crawfish with the Tex- Orleans Way (crawfish paste seasoning). I love it when they do their promotions on Wednesdays you get 5lbs of crawfish for $30. Definitely a steal. Other items there I've enjoyed are their fried oysters, boudin balls, and gumbo. The service was great just the food didnt match that energy, I came to this location because i was in the area at the time and was craving a seafood boil (first time going to bb's by the way) We ordered a pound of shrimp with egg, potato, and corn. The food was quick to come out which was surprising because there was a wait to even get seated. The egg was so rubbery and hard it had me wondering how long it was sitting before getting served, not even at the low end chinese buffets had the boiled eggs at this texture, the shrimp were super rubbery as well and hard, the shell was even hard to remove from the shrimp itself, same thing with the corn just rubbery and firm legit the only thing that was great was the potato and their tex-orleans sauce, it was so disappointing for a first time at this restaurant though, definitely my last time coming here read more
