Pappadeux is always a winner! Been coming to this location since I was a little girl. We came in for Mother's Day and everything was fresh and hot, not to mention HUGE portions. They are a little pricey but for the amount of food you get truly a value. The server went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed everything. Also can't get enough of their bread and butter. Highly recommend.

This was my first time trying Pappadeaux and we came as a large group to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were given a private dining room and a few servers to serve us all. The servers were AMAZING and so patient with us. They recommended so many good things and were very kind. The service overall was excellent. I got the Hot Honey Gator Bites, Passion Fruit Lemon Drop & the Jumbo Shrimp Brochette. Will come again!

I had the fried crawfish medium order for lunch, it came with french fries that were absolutely delicious and the crawfish was crunchy and full of flavor. It was really good. Highly recommend it. I only complain about Pappadeaux's is it's always so noisy and it wasn't even packed. It was hard to hear my friend talk . Plenty of parking.

Their complimentary bread sucks! Super hard

Only giving 4 stars because their complimentary bread is horrible. I'd expect better quality soft bread at a restaurant like this, not bread that you can literally knock someone out with. It was hard as a rock and not easy to cut into. Also I don't recommend the shrimp and crawfish fondue. Unless you love the flavor and aftertaste of crawfish. Didn't realize it would overpower the whole appetizer and had a unique, unappetizing flavor. However I did love and thoroughly enjoy the Crispy Salmon & Jumbo crab. And my husband loved his Texas Redfish. Also the service from our waiter Idhant was outstanding. The ambiance is nice and it's a big establishment. So overall, I do recommend.

I always enjoy the experience at Pappadeaux! I have been here several times with my family. The food is top notch, the portions are very generous. My favorite plate is the Atlantic Salmon Alexander, I would love to have the secret for the cream sauce on the top ! the strawberry lemonade it's super fresh . The service is always outstanding It's normally plenty of parking, it's gets very busy during the weekends and special occasions as Mother's Day, Valentines' Day, etc , but I have always been able to find a spot. Enjoy !

This was my first visit to this location. It's just like the others so no need to explain there. My server was a young man that was nice as he took our orders. Now when he asked if we wanted garlic bread, I was under the impression that he meant the regular bread that usually comes out to the table. Well that was not what he was referring to. So this was also my first time having their garlic bread and although I was a bit upset with the misunderstanding, it was really good. Especially with the melted cheese on it. He definitely put me on. I believe it was only $2-$3 during the lunch time that we were there. But now I might have to get this again. I also ordered their Mardi Gras Pasta as it was one of his favored recommendations over the Gumbo. And once again, this young man put me on. It was definitely delicious and blew my expectations. It came with a piece of bread but not with the cheese on it. I would surely go back to this location if I'm in the area. But I know when I go to any other locations, that I have to try these again.

I was actually very disappointed. We wanted a booth or a window table, but we were advised that they could only be secured if we made a reservation. We were placed in a crammed area by a pillar. Later I asked someone sitting by the window did they make a reservation they stated no they just asked to be placed there, so the host lied. Alexis was our waiter, she was serving so many tables we had to continually wait long until her return. We had got the seafood platter to share with a substitute for the stuffed shrimps and oysters & few additional sides. They messed up our order. Only the baked potatoes come out piping hot everything else was lukewarm/cold. They didn't do the substitutes and brought out broccolini out cold. When we brought it to their attention they were apologetic, they did take the broccolini back and bring the exact same broccolini back out because the piece I bit was still on top front and center. We were not charged for the broccolini. The potatoes were good, the fried catfish was good. The hot sauce they had was really good. I do believe they were just short staffed and not paying close attention to the order, and it being rodeo season did not make it any better.

I went to this restaurant for my birthday dinner with my daughter and thoroughly enjoyed it! I ordered the gator bites, shrimp étouffée and my daughter had the Parmesan pasta. The food was absolutely delicious and waiter was nice. My daughter has a shellfish allergy and the staff did everything to separate her food from any contact with shellfish. She enjoyed her food with a smile and I absolutely had a wonderful birthday dinner! Ty Papadeaux!

The service was amazing. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. I was hungry when I arrived and knew exactly what I wanted to eat. I asked if our bread could be brought out quickly and he delivered, professionally and happily. Not once did I feel that I was troubling him too much. Like when I ordered a virgin pina colada and it came out with whipped cream and a cherry on top, I asked him to take it back because I didn't want those things added to my drink. He happily and quickly obliged. We arrived early evening so as we were seated the restaurant wasn't full but in our section it was cozy sitting between other restaurant goers. As our meal came the restaurant started to become busy with a hum of people coming in for an early dinner. I just loved watching the waiters and waitresses move about so focused and precision in their step. Overall, I had an enjoyable time. The only disappointment that I had was how salty my fish and shrimp was. This is the second time I've eaten at pappadeaux's within a couple of months and both times, my food was too salty.

My girlfriend and I met here for lunch right when they opened. It was very nice. The food was fresh and hot, and delicious! I ordered from the lunch menu and got the Shrimp Combo. We did wait awhile for our food but the Manager, Elvin, was quick to apologize and offer us free desserts. It was still pricey but I'll be back.

It had been years since I'd visited, and I'm so glad I came back! Parking was easy, and we were greeted by a friendly hostess right away. Our server, Franklin, was outstanding--attentive, personable, and ready with great recommendations. The food was even better than I remembered! The Crispy Salmon was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the Redfish Pontchartrain was absolutely amazing. If you're craving fresh, flavorful seafood with exceptional service, this is the spot!

I ordered-the three piece catfish with fries and a side salad. Unfortunately, I was only able to eat one piece of fish and none of the salad. Drink- Peach sweet tea appetizer- mozzarella sticks. My friend ordered the Greek salad and gumbo. The fish and fries were fried to perfection and seasoned just right. I was only able to eat one piece of the fish .

James is the man. First-Class service with a superb temperament and personality.

Was lucky enough to receive a gift card from a friend to the Pappas restaurants, and we wanted to visit Pappadeaux since we both like that cuisine but hadn't had visited for over 15 years..... We're both so happy and glad we did this afternoon and lucked out by having James as our server. Most restaurants are pretty much like one another but not this location. James made our visit special by showing us a supreme level of respect, attention and appreciation for the two of us joining them for lunch today. He genuinely made us feel appreciated for our business and it showed by treating us like family or a good friend, and that's very special! The decor & ambience was relaxed and the food was made with love - for a large chain restaurant, that's not something we expected but the kitchen team put effort and care with our dishes. We had the blackened salmon Caesar salad and the Blackened Catfish Opelousas with a generous amount of grilled shrimp, plump oysters and lump crab meat in that amazing sauce. Do yourself a favor and make it out to the 1960 location near Willowbrook and ask for James - he's a breath of fresh air with his wonderful temperament, big personality and superb first-class service. I even asked him his permission to take his photo for this review and he agreed and struck a pose. What a guy and what an experience - tell them David & Amy sent you.

Feels good when an establishment takes pride in their customer's feedback and puts a plan into action. Honestly, part of me was hoping that last time was just a fluke or an off day. This time around, everything from the service to the food was great. We had a 12:30 Sunday reservation for two and opted to sit inside this time. We ordered the cast-iron cornbread, chargrilled oysters, and a cup of gumbo each to start. For entrées, I had the Gulf Fish, while my husband went with the crawfish Florentine. Everything came out beautifully timed, almost like a perfectly paced three-course meal, which obviously made the whole experience feel elevated and relaxed. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. I also tried the prickly pear aid (non-alcoholic), and it was super refreshing, definitely worth ordering if you like a little tartness to cleanse your palate. Overall, this visit felt like a completely different experience than last time. It delivered the elevated experience a place like Eunice promises and what I was used to originally. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to both the service and the food quality. Our server was very slow throughout the evening. After ordering cocktails, it took approximately 20 minutes for them to arrive. We then ordered our meals... I had the burger and fries, while my girlfriend ordered the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were noticeably over salted. After finishing our meals, we waited an additional 15-20 minutes just to receive a dessert menu. Eventually, we decided not to wait any longer and went to Dessert Gallery down the street instead. While the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant were excellent, the slow service and food issues negatively impacted the experience. Based on this visit, I would likely not return.

We went on a Saturday for lunch. Hopefully this was just a one-off, but if you're looking for good Cajun boiled crawfish, this is not it. We started off with 6 lbs (group of 4) of their regular crawfish. First off, they put the Cajun seasoning on outside/shell (!!), which is a cardinal sin for Cajuns. They also minimally seasoned the boil, so the meat was lacking salt and flavor. We ordered 3 more lbs with the "wet sauce" (garlic butter), thinking the lack of flavor may be attributed to this being the first-ish batch of the day. Nope, the second batch was even less seasoned than the first. The sauce was good, but it didn't make up for the unseasoned meat. The crawfish were a good size, at least... Come on guys, I expect more from a Gulf Coast seafood restaurant!

Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16.
