O.M.G. This was my very first time having a seafood boil and man was I missing out. The wait was about 30 minutes for 2 people on a Saturday evening around 6:30. The staff was friendly and accommodating with my first visit! The inside decor was so cool. I'm so glad I went and DEFINITELY going back!

I ordered in advance online. Food was ready in 15 mins. Good service as I picked up my order. They confirmed my phone number and gave me the order. We got snow crabs, headless and head on shrimp, sausage potatoes and corn. Also got a boiled egg. I got wings for my son. These are the best lemon pepper wings. Very meaty and seasoned. The seafood was good but not spicy enough for me. I need to kick up the spice level. Also ordered extra potatoes but not corn. We ended up with 1 corn. Good meal.

The sign says all you need to know about a place. But the food is good. Service is hit or miss. Don't leave this place tipsy or the JV police will be waiting for you outside.

Want to start off by saying I've tried 3 different craft crab locations including the one in Panama City beach Florida. But in Houston I've tried two the 1960/45 location and this one on 290. The 290 location has been the better go to. I've also seen another location near nasa area. But we ordered 3LBs of crawfish and 1LB of shrimp boil and it was a 8/10. Flavor was on point but could have been more spicy.but overall still very delicious. Corn and potatoes were good as well. Love how they have a huge red hummer just sitting in the entry lol

What a great place to relax with my family and dine. This was a first for me, but my niece has been here more than a couple of times. She was spot on when she said it's like being on the Bayou. It's a true authentic seafood restaurant with all the trimmings, music in the background, fishnets hanging from the ceiling, and the big monstrous truck greeting you at the door. I so much enjoyed the atmosphere, and our waitress was the sweetest. As you can see, we enjoyed the food so much. The Texas combined Louisiana flavors flow through every bite of our food. We ordered three seafood boils, one catfish basket, and a shrimp basket. We were too stuffed to add a dessert. But next time, I'll get my dessert!

Came in with my parents on Easter Sunday. It's a huge restaurant with plenty of seating so we didn't have to wait to be sat down. It was our first time having a proper seafood boil and for our first experience, not having anything to compare it to beforehand it was pretty good. I ordered their headless shrimp in their mixed seasoning and it was pretty tasty. It was a decent experience and if I'm ever in the mood for seafood I'll probably be back.

Visiting over Holiday Season. This is hands down a very good establishment. Restaurant was decorated for holidays and music made atmosphere fun and welcoming. Our server Willy was very attentive and made our visit even better. For drinks I ordered from the bar the Hennessy Lemon drop and Hennessy Boomarita, which were great and strong( no complaints here). For dinner had the lobster tail special, which came in a boil bag, one lobster tail, a cluster of snow crabs, 1/2 lb of shrimp, sausage corn and potatoes. I also added boiled eggs. My sister had the fried shrimp with French fries basket. These were the best fried shrimp I've had in along time and the tartar sauce was phenomenal. I will definitely try this place when I visit Houston again, it's definitely better than our Boil places in Virginia.

I cannot lie, I had an extremely long day. I only pulled up here because I know it's a quiet place. However, I am extremely happy I came because Ambrosia made our night! She was polite, well spoken, attentive, and funny. Recommendations for food? She's got it. Recommendations for drinks? She's got it. Table dirty? She's on it! Her spirit was so pleasant that we left her a nice tip. She's young with more sense of customer service than folks twice her age. Oh yeah, shout out to the silent heroes of the night: the cooks. Ba-bay (in my Louisiana accent) that fried shrimp platter and boiled combo bag was PHENOMENAL. Bottom line: Great food + Great service = repeat customers.

Feels good when an establishment takes pride in their customer's feedback and puts a plan into action. Honestly, part of me was hoping that last time was just a fluke or an off day. This time around, everything from the service to the food was great. We had a 12:30 Sunday reservation for two and opted to sit inside this time. We ordered the cast-iron cornbread, chargrilled oysters, and a cup of gumbo each to start. For entrées, I had the Gulf Fish, while my husband went with the crawfish Florentine. Everything came out beautifully timed, almost like a perfectly paced three-course meal, which obviously made the whole experience feel elevated and relaxed. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. I also tried the prickly pear aid (non-alcoholic), and it was super refreshing, definitely worth ordering if you like a little tartness to cleanse your palate. Overall, this visit felt like a completely different experience than last time. It delivered the elevated experience a place like Eunice promises and what I was used to originally. Looking forward to celebrating my birthday here in June!

Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to both the service and the food quality. Our server was very slow throughout the evening. After ordering cocktails, it took approximately 20 minutes for them to arrive. We then ordered our meals... I had the burger and fries, while my girlfriend ordered the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were noticeably over salted. After finishing our meals, we waited an additional 15-20 minutes just to receive a dessert menu. Eventually, we decided not to wait any longer and went to Dessert Gallery down the street instead. While the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant were excellent, the slow service and food issues negatively impacted the experience. Based on this visit, I would likely not return.

The vibe is great, the decor is awesome, the food delivers consistently, and service rarely takes a day off -- it's just a solid place to go when you're up for some great southern comfort classics. Cocktails, delicious. The daily food specials make it refreshing. The oysters never disappoint. We've rarely had to wait long on any ordered items and servers are all top notch. My only minor complaint is some of the larger groups visiting can sometimes forget there are others in the restaurant. We don't need to hear your entire conversation about the latest office gossip.

*this review is only for crawfish, not their regular menu (which is amazing) *…read more We went here during crawfish season because they've been advertising their $8/lb crawfish, and we trusted that it would be great given the quality of their regular menu. We went on a Saturday for lunch. Hopefully this was just a one-off, but if you're looking for good Cajun boiled crawfish, this is not it. We started off with 6 lbs (group of 4) of their regular crawfish. First off, they put the Cajun seasoning on outside/shell (!!), which is a cardinal sin for Cajuns. They also minimally seasoned the boil, so the meat was lacking salt and flavor. We ordered 3 more lbs with the "wet sauce" (garlic butter), thinking the lack of flavor may be attributed to this being the first-ish batch of the day. Nope, the second batch was even less seasoned than the first. The sauce was good, but it didn't make up for the unseasoned meat. The crawfish were a good size, at least... Come on guys, I expect more from a Gulf Coast seafood restaurant!

Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. They were tasty. I like Rouxpour and would return. My only negative is that their prices are a little on the high side in my opinion.

YEAH, they understood the assignment. The gumbo is finger‑licking good -- argue with somebody else about it. I get the seafood version minus the sausage, and I clear that bowl every time. The Chargrilled Rockefeller? That's the one you call your mama about. Big, flavorful, perfect. And the deviled eggs... listen. I don't even like deviled eggs, but these? My mouth is literally watering thinking about them. Smooth, creamy yolk, perfectly seasoned shrimp on top -- a combo I didn't know I needed. The crab cakes? Chef's kiss. Packed with fresh crab, and that aioli is doing exactly what it needs to do. The only miss for me was the crab and asparagus -- it just wasn't giving. No flavor, no cohesion... just no. The crème brûlée is delicious, but I'm still wishing they made beignets. Now the drinks? Top 2 and not number 2, do you hear me? The Mexican Martini and the Texas Blueberry Martini -- TEA. (Yes, the little tea‑finger gesture is happening.) And the staff? Amazing. I actually found out I was laid off while I was sitting at happy hour, and the way they comforted me...
