Update: I'm forgiving and love a good second chance. I've come back to this location about 5 times since my last review and my view has definitely improved. My food has been consistently hot, fresh and delicious. Very quick turn around time. I've even unofficially created my own breakfast. *The Marie - The trifecta with scrambled eggs, a chocolate chip pancake, and million dollar bacon instead of regular with a cup of coffee. Love it. Ysidira was my server and she was so attentive, kind, and anticipated all my needs! Edgar gets an honorable mention in my book. Everytime I come in he always has a smile and a wave. Came here for sunday brunch with two of my friends and had a great time! Good food, good service, and loved how cozy this place felt. I haven't been in the cypress area in a long time and I am glad to see that this place is still going strong since I left! We all ordered orange mimosas as well as hot coffee to go with our meals. I got the Parma Skillet Hash, one friend got the Chimichanga, and my other friend got the Biscuits and Gravy, and we all shared the French Toast. All of our meals were very good! We all kind of shared each of our meals with each other and I think my favorite was the skillet hash and the biscuits and gravy. Next time, I would definitely ask for the potatoes to be crispier. Everything besides the potatoes needing to be crispier, was well seasoned, and well portioned. We all finished everything along with our coffee and mimosas. Overall, I will definitely be back whenever I am in the area again and needing my brunch fix. If you are going on a sunday, I highly recommend coming early or setting a reservation! As this was my first time here, I was a little bit disappointed. Upon arrival, we were told it would be a 10 minute wait to get a table. However, having worked industry before I noticed six tables were immediately open yet. We still had to wait 10 minutes to get a table. I attribute this to the younger staff who may be a little bit inexperienced. The food was nothing to write home about. As you can see from my photo, I had ordered my sandwich with no lettuce and no tomato and I basically got a lettuce and tomato sandwich with a little bit of turkey on it. Not the best. The soup, however, was amazing. The soup of the day was vegetable. My girlfriends food was also lackluster. She ordered the Gruyere and ham omelette, which was burned to a crisp on the outside rims, stacked high in the middle with the ham, and had a slice of cheese literally thrown on top of it. That wasn't fully melted. The eggs were completely overcooked and borderline inedible . The accompanying potatoes were actually very well prepared. Mimosas came with a very cheap champagne that you had to pour and mix yourself. This was OK because I like a lot more champagne than orange juice, but it seemed kind of cheap and a cop out. I'm not sure if they were just having an off day, but our waitress herself was very lovely and nice and accommodating. The staff were friendly, they just seem confused. I would give this a solid two stars for the first time out despite my 4 star upon check-in. read more

We went here about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday. This wasn't my first time having First Watch, but their menu has progressed since the last time I had it about 1-2 years ago. This location gets extremely busy on weekends, so I recommend joining the waitlist via their app to save some time. Even after joining the app and getting quoted a 10-20 minute wait time we waited another 10-15 minutes after that since there were still no tables. If you have a party larger than 4 I highly recommend you get there early on the weekends or else you'll probably be waiting a while. The food overall was 7/10. Just slightly above basic breakfast foods but I was craving a banana pancake this day which is why we went! Service was a 3/5 since our waitress completely forgot about our drink order and we had to remind her about it 5 minutes after we got our food. read more

I've only ordered breakfast here until today. I had a Turkey burger and asked for wheat bread. I didn't ask them too, but they grilled the bread and it was delicious! Of course when I got home there was bacon in it. Called First Watch to tell them the order was wrong and they told me to come back in for them to remake it. so I drove back up there, they remake it, I get back home and now in the first bite is hair. Drove back up there, The manager tried to tell me it was from a cooking brush they use to clean the pans with. (Either way it's not edible). They gave me a $20 gift card, and no refund was issued or any sort of empathy for making us drive back and forth 3 times. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stopped by a week later, ordered the same thing to-go and get home to find bacon in the meal again. I drove back to First Watch and asked for a refund. 2nd time trying First Watch out, my first time was at a different location--years ago, it wasn't the best experience or taste. Glad my second visit was much better! The food was great, I had the farmhouse skillet hash and the butterfly pea tea. The waitstaff was nice, but a few things: they quoted a 30-40 minute wait time and it ended up being about an hour and 15 minutes (if we had been quoted that wait time, we would have found somewhere else to eat), our server took around 15 minutes getting to our table to take our drink order so another server came and covered for a little bit, and our appetizer came out 10 minutes after our main meals were served. The servers all seemed a little frazzled so I am wondering if all of this happened because they were understaffed.
