Plenty of parking in the lot. Cute and homey decor. Very big menu that accommodates different dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan and keto. Service was friendly and the food was good. I am not vegan but got the portobello mushroom sandwich was tasty. I also enjoyed the lavender berry lemonade. Telling my family and friends about this place!
Wowow! This place is absolutely delicious. I'm usually pretty underwhelmed with breakfast/brunch places but this place did not disappoint. The waitlist can be long but it is worth it! Just be sure to check the wait time and sign yourself up for the waitlist if you aren't there yet. Just sort of get a gauge of when you could be and put yourself on the list depending on the waitlist time. Once we ordered we got the food very quickly. I loved my fried chicken eggs Benedict. Such a yummy hollandaise sauce and very crispy chicken. My husband enjoyed his sausage gravy and biscuit breakfast. And we both were obsessed with the banana nut cookie butter waffle. I love how the nuts were candied pecans! The owner is incredibly nice and checked up on every table. Very personable and a great experience here!
What a stunning restaurant. The greenery throughout the store made everything feel so wholesome and the elegant decor added a touch of sophistication. The exterior is just as beautifully decorated. It's clear that chef-owner Lori Pope poured a lot of time, heart, and soul into both the menu and the store's design. The hostess was super friendly. As soon as I walked in, she gave me a warm and smiling greeting. The menu was a feast for the eyes. It had a lot of lovely pictures of the different dishes. I was ecstatic to see that there were so many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Also, most of the dishes can be requested to be made gluten-free. Big plus. You don't order at your table, instead you go to the counter in the back and make sure to bring the sheet with your table number on it. The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. I am happy there's a locally owned and created brunch place like Harvest Kitchen and will definitely be back to try other dishes. Note: There's an automatic 15% service charge to every order.
I went here with my mom and dad and we all enjoyed our food. My dad got the spicy rancheros, my mom got the lemon smth pancakes, and I got the ribeye steak and eggs. The steak was very juicy and the bread that it came with was very good as well. The pancake was very flavorful and nice as well. The place was decorated super nice and clean with some good photo ops. The chef came around to check up on us one time which was nice but other than that we weren't checked up on again. I understand that the place is very busy though. Although it was kinda expensive the food was very good and filled us up.
This place is a hidden gem for some nice brunch!!! The place is so cute, and the service is really good. The owner came up to us which was really sweet and nice. The food here is amazing too. I got the eggs Benedict with chicken and waffles - so so good. I went with a large group and everyone loved what they got too. I highly recommend coming here if you're looking for chicken and waffles!!
Not worth the hype! Since I'm plant based, thought this would be a good spot. Today they got my order wrong 3 times. Brought a salad with chicken, oh did I say I was plant based? Asked for no candied pecans, guess what I got? Candied pecans. The lettuce was old with several pieces gross. Came with buttered toast, despite asking for no fat! No coffee in 3/4 containers. I won't be back and will save 20$ by going to Jason's deli next time
Hi this is my 2nd time here and I must say this is now a favorite of mines . There is nothing that I can point out as a con ... so let's talk about the pros ! - the food is 1000/10 - hospitality from the chef is wonderful . She is very sweet and make sure to walk around - the tostado is top tier !! The grits spectacular. Super creamy . Never had good grits in Houston - French toast is 10/10 - breakfast tacos are amazinggggggg Ambiance is beautiful ! Very homelike cozy . So if you're wondering if you should go ? GO let her know Shania said it's the best ever ! Won't disappoint Blessings to the chef .pray you make millions girl power !!!

The food is outstanding, and as someone who recently started a keto journey, I was so impressed by the variety of keto-friendly options available. The hot chicken breakfast tacos are a must, and their keto desserts are next level, every single one was delicious. The ambiance is just as amazing as the food. From the moment you walk in, it feels like home. The décor is beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. One of my favorite touches was how they personalize each table by placing your name on it when you're seated which instantly makes the experience feel special and welcoming. The owner and chef, Lori, is an absolute joy. She personally goes around greeting each table and truly connects with her guests. When I mentioned my keto lifestyle, she took the time to share helpful advice on how to maintain it, which meant so much to me. Her warmth and passion shine through, and it's easy to see why Harvest has such an incredible reputation and has been loved by the community for so many years. I will definitely be back!

This is a family owned spot that has delicious food and amazing service. The chef and owner even makes it a point to stop by your table to make sure your experience is excellent. Everything that we ordered was so delicious that I definitely will be returning. I ordered the Mango Tango Chicken Tostada and Chai Tea Latte. Both 5/5! The ambience is pretty chill, but you can also bring a family or a group. They just don't have very large tables.
Still the best brunch in greater Houston? Hands down YES! !!COME SEE THE CHRISTMAS DECOR!! I would go as far as to say the best brunch spot I've ever eaten!! Chef Lori just keeps outdoing herself. The presentations, the flavor profiles. It's absolutely wild. Check out the pictures, pick anything on the menu. Literally anything.
I needed to update my review 06/17/26 Never did I threaten her granddaughter or the hostess. Her underage granddaughter often works here during school breaks. She brought me my cinnamon roll after I asked for a refund, I relayed that message to granddaughter. My review reflects on her unwelcoming hostess mentioned.. I was also met with pages of messages on Instagram from their personal page after this review that I KINDLY responded to on how they no longer served us. Apparently you can't be open and honest on yelp without being banned from this restaurant. Lack of professionalism and ability to accept open criticism is clearly an issue & displayed here. Being labeled as much considering the close and friendly relationships I've had with the staff here is disappointing, disgraceful, and disrespectful. I will not longer be commenting on this as of 06/17/2026. 06/16/2026: I am a regular. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed my meal and/or experience here from start to finish here. Today was my last straw. The experience and food is noticeably different when chef Lori is not here. For $80 I expect my food to come fresh and delivered with the rest of the tables food. I don't expect to sit down for 10 - 15 minutes to then be notified they are out of what I ordered. I've sat down for an extra 5 - 10 minutes and I saw 10 empty tables with no line. The whole experience here has gone downhill and rapidly fast. To say the least, I will not consider myself a regular here anymore. I added an old picture because I really use to enjoy this place.
I've visited Harvest Kitchen almost a dozen times and the place always amazes me. The food is phenomenal and the staff are incredible with crowd management and food service. The restaurant has expanded since my first time there but the decor is great reflecting a Fall theme. The food is incredible and worth whatever the wait. Their menu itself is a work of art with all the pictures of creative dishes. You will always get a meal that looks as great as it is delicious. Because of the popularity, you will want to take advantage of the call ahead seating option. There is practically no space inside to wait and it could be over an hour. We decided to try this place out for the first time because we were in the area and wanted to dine somewhere with good vegetarian or vegan options. If you're dining in, check in with the host/hostess and they will tell you where you will be seated. You will be given a "ticket" to take to the counter to place your order. After you place your order, your food will be brought out to your designated table. We had a very enjoyable brunch at Harvest and will definitely come back next time we're in Katy. read more
Well this is my go-to brunch spot to bring all my out-of-towners. I can't believe I don't still have a review posted in the system! Let me start by saying I've been here multiple, multiple times & I've never had any food items that weren't good. I always get breakfast (even if it's lunch time) so I don't know much about the lunch items. Not only is the food outstanding with a creative twist, it's consistent. Over the years, the place has expanded several times so now there is a decent amount of dine-in seating in addition to the outdoor seating. The place still stays packed but with their wait list in advance/text notification system & efficiency in seating customers, if there is a wait things move along smoothly. Additionally, anyone who is waiting knows it's worth the wait!! The service staff are friendly. The atmosphere is homey & they decorate for the various holidays & seasons. Owner/chef Lori is always walking around asking guests if everything is ok. On at least 2 occasions she happened to chat with me/my guest about some dietary restrictions & she whipped something up for us to try. My go-to dish is the harvest breakfast where you can pick 4 breakfast items from a list. This is a great way to sample more menu items. Here's my take on some of my favorites: - Sourdough pancakes are thin & really delicious. - Belgium Leige waffle is very sweet with the pearl sugar "nuggets" in them so taste them before you add a lot of syrup. - Scrambled eggs are well seasoned, not bland. - Avocado & tomato or the fresh fruit are nice light touches as one of the side item choices. - Fried chicken tenders are really good. Spice level 3 (medium) is not that spicy. It's flavorful. - Grilled chicken tenders are good. As much as I typically eat grilled or baked chicken, I allow myself to choose fried for these. - Grits are creamy. I get them with no cheese. I'm not a big grits person but I do like these! The menu is very extensive. It includes vegan, vegetarian, keto & gluten free. Is the breakfast a little pricey, the answer is "it's all relative." Sometimes it's just worth paying for a great meal. In case you haven't gotten the message, Harvest Kitchen is a must try. Do yourself a favor & have a visit. I'm betting it will stay on your list as a repeat eating spot!! Tips: - Use the text message wait list & signup before you leave your house. - You can always get 1 pancake on the side for $5. - 15% gratuity is included at checkout, as you pay you'll get options for an additional % or custom % like 0%, 3, 5% or more. read more

We have been meaning to try this brunch spot near us ever since moving to Katy! The first time we went it was over an hour wait on a Sunday afternoon. We decided to try again early Saturday morning. Ended up still being a 50-55 min wait on 10am Saturday. I'm glad we waited though bc easily worth it! You enter the waitlist via a QR code on a sign outside the restaurant and then wait in your car where they'll text you whenever your table is ready. You wait in a line to order at the register and then sit at your assigned table where they bring you your food. Inside ambiance was spectacular, attention to detail and very Fall oriented which we loved. Very homey and mom/pop shop feel. Service was great and super prompt. Food was ran out immediately when ready and very fresh/hot. We got the pumpkin spiced latte and salted caramel latte which came out very quickly. The flavors were a bit muted and not overly sweet. Probably the weakest part of the meal. We got the double chicken and waffles and the monte Cristo, as well as a French toast trio to share. Chicken waffle-5/5. Amazing crunchy batter with like a Nashville hot syrup. We ordered the level 3 moderate spicy. The waffles were almost like candied and crispy. The chicken tenders were huge! Easily could have been satisfied with the one tender serving. Monte Cristo-5/5. The best Monte cristo I've had in years! Batter was crispy and doughy like a donut. And served with a raspberry marmalade. And 2 eggs cooked your way. French toast trio (banana nut cookie butter, lemon berry, and cinnamon)-5/5. The French toast were small so it is a very shareable plate. Served with cinnamon sugar and syrup. Made from a sourdough bread, so a bit thicker than the typical French toast. Amazing brunch and amazing time! We can't wait to come back with our families to try more of this spectacular and extensive menu! read more

I've always ordered delivery from this place and regret waiting so freaking long to dine in. The food is even more amazing in person and the whole place is so cute. It gives off a mom and pop Cracker Barrel vibe and is very inviting the moment you walk in. With a one hour wait, it was still worth it and of course, I tried it on Father's Day so I'm sure that played into the wait time. The table gets ready with your name on a hand written plaque, which is even rare for fine dining, let alone a cozier place like this one. 10/10 would recommend anyone to come and trust me, though the delivery is great, at the location, everything is better' read more

I've eaten here twice. I really do like the food. It's really good. The chef comes around and checks on you and make sure everything's good to go. Anna that carrot cake is so good and I definitely loved their quiche and that salad was so yummy and anything that makes poached eggs so good the only thing I don't like is that they have them automatic gratuity but that's it. Everything else here is really great. Highly recommend. read more

My niece treated me to brunch at this quaint/eclectic restaurant. What can I say? This place blew me away on so many levels. The food is amazing; freshly made chicken and waffles and variety of Fresh then have a large vegan menu. If you're in the neighborhood. I had the opportunity of meeting the owner and you can tell she takes pride in preparing the best entrees possible for her customers. She comes out and floated around to check on every customer. She even bought me a free vegan meal00I will stop in and get this place up try. My husband and I were looking for something different and boy did we find it! This delightful restaurant is tucked away in a corner of Katy. It is a treasure. This place is a perfect place for a quiet, cozy date, brunch with friends or family meal as they are very family friendly. The food is some of the best I've had in ages. There are no words to describe how amazing the waffle was, but I'll try. It was large, but fluffy, sweet, buttery and in my humble opinion, better than those "magical" waffles you get at Disney resorts. Seriously, the best waffle I've ever had. It complimented the fried chicken tender perfectly. And that chicken - home-cooked like mom's, not a fast food chicken tender. I got the kids portion because I am a light eater and it was perfect, but they do have an adult version and a double I believe complete with sides. When scooting into our booth, we moved the table a little too much and some coffee spilled. I went to ask for extra napkins and before I made it back from the coffee bar someone was at our table cleaning it up. They are on the ball! I know you'll be pouring over the menu when you're in line, but don't forget to turn around and look at the local items for sale - bath soaps, hand-made wash cloths, etc. We will 100% be back! read more

A Katy Gem Worth the Wait! Five stars all the way. It was our first visit, and it definitely won't be our last! We arrived around 8:25 a.m. on a Saturday and the line had already started. We hopped on the waitlist and were promptly seated once the doors opened. Since it was my birthday brunch, I ordered the quiche and a waffle, while my husband enjoyed the biscuits and gravy along with the French toast. Everything was delicious--the waffle had a sugar pearl topping that was over the top, the crustless quiche was perfectly flavorful, the biscuits and gravy were rich and hearty, and the French toast was simply yummy! Chef Lori stopped by our table to wish me a happy birthday and even gave me the cutest tiara to celebrate. She and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and personable--such a thoughtful touch that made the experience extra special. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, perfect for a ladies' brunch or a relaxed couples' breakfast. Wonderful service, lovely ambiance, and great food--we'll definitely be back! Went here for a little brekky with a friend visiting from DC. This was both our first time and came highly recommended by a friend of mine from the gym. Like he said if you're looking for a bomb brunch spot THIS THE ONE. And not gonna lie he cooked with this one. Ordered a special variant of their chicken and waffles I mean it had this special bagel/bun with a cheese melted over top and had nice creamy scrambled eggs with two pieces of mild to hot chicken tenders (they were LONG) and there was also a lil avocado poking in too, and if my description didn't give it away, it was really GOOD. But don't let that take away from the supporting cast of food cause those little round breakfast potatoes omg, I mean good spice, good taste, good little crisp. Perfection. Just cause we were feeling fancy too and got the affogato and it was good don't get me wrong but like it was spur of moment kind of thing like I wasn't raving about it. Honestly the quality of anything you get you I don't think you'd be disappointed with, it's kind of like what kind of vibe you're feeling like classic breakfast items with pancakes or French toast? I wish I could tell Lori in-person, but this food is special. I can only imagine the thought, care, love, money, and time that went into making these recipes this luscious and delicious. You can tell the entire menu has been a labor of love, and I am so thankful to have gotten the opportunity to try her food today. First, every single person I spoke to in the restaurant was wonderfully friendly and made you feel at home. Everyone spoke to me so kindly and actually seemed like they wanted to be there. Their personalities fed the calming vibe I felt stepping into the door. I love the ambiance of the restaurant too and how it feels like you're actually in a person's very large kitchen. Comfort is what I felt immediately. Having had a gluten allergy for almost two decades, it is hard to find some of the food I grew up with back in the day. Today, I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with kettle chips and fruit. I can truly say that this was the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. Every single thing about this sandwich was thought out and beautifully executed. HUGE chicken breast - not a pounded thin breast. CHUNKY and tender and perfectly seasoned and nicely smothered with just the right amount of Nashville Hot Sauce. The coleslaw wasn't too creamy, so it didn't weight the sandwich down. The homemade pickles gave a perfect vinegar kick to the sandwich, and how this gluten free bun held up against this bird is beyond me. I even had it in a container for almost 20 minutes, and it was still perfection and did not fall apart. Every part of that sandwich was even better than I imagined it was going to be, and I honestly had stopped eating sandwiches because gluten free ones are rarely good, and the bun/bread is normally junk and crumbly. The fruit had blueberries the size of a thumbnail, so HUGE, and they were juicy and delicious. Strawberries were also great! I know it's wild I'm talking about a fruit cup, but here we are. Those chips are not something I could eat everyday only because my doctor would be displeased, but they are those deep brown kettle chips pulled out just at the right time for crunch and wonderful potato flavor. I also got pastries, but after that sandwich I needed a breather, but I admit to tasting a pecan off the keto pumpkin roll and YES PLEASE. I am so thankful to get to eat such wonderful gluten free food that has had so much care put into it. What a treat to have fueled my body today with Lori and team's amazing food! Truly one of the best meals I have had in a very long time, and it was takeout - not even dine-in! I cannot wait to come back again! read more

We went the Saturday before Mother's Day for the first time and it was great. The service was different but wonderful, they ask about dietary restrictions before hand, there's a nameplate placed on your table. It all felt very personalized. The food was just as good as it looked and so fresh, the presentationwas the icing on the cake!! The service at Harvest Kitchen was great! We even had a chance to speak to Chef Pope who allowed us to have a complimentary slice of carrot cake! It was a quaint restaurant tucked away in a shopping center. Had I not looked for local restaurants on Yelp, I'm afraid I would have never stopped by. We were seated within 20 minutes which was great because it gave us time to look over the menu which had a variety of options that are suitable for a variety of dietary preferences and restrictions. My friend and I had chai tea and a chai latte respectively, which we enjoyed. We shared the spicy cauliflower which we enjoyed. We got medium spice level and it was a nice heat with a bit of sweetness. Reminded me of a BBQ rub you'd find on a nice brisket. My friend ordered the vegetarian tacos which she enjoyed and I got the Fried Goat Cheese Avocado Toast which was great! I love goat cheese and savored each bite. Hidden gem. This place is so good. Good service, friendly staff. Food is pricey but I can say they aren't wrong charging what they are charging. It's really good. It's always packed. My only gripe, they got rid of the Monte Cristo. The best item on their menu. I hope they bring it back. read more
