I've never left a 1 star review but this was the worst experience I've had in Houston. Also i'd like to say that Ritanie our waitress was incredible and nothing below was her fault!! I ordered the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl and a water. 1. When the plate was served I found it odd that I didn't see any Barbacoa in the dish. I figured it's in the sauce and looked for TEN MINUTES while also looking at photos of the dish online. It did not have any barbacoa in the bowl. I explain this to a different waitress and she takes the food back to the kitchen and brings it out again with a small piece of barbocoa sitting conveniently on top of my food! She tries to point that out saying there's meat in it which is absolutely ridiculous! Very insulting and gross. SEE THE VIDEO, there's only 1 piece of meat on top. I didnt take a single bite of food. Absolutely unacceptable to bring a plate of food back from the kitchen trying to trick the customer to avoid remaking the dish. They comped a single order of avocado toast and the manager came to apologize. Completely ruined my experience and would not recommend this place to anyone. By the time I noticed the waitress was not around so did not bother to exchange that! The elevated egg sandwich was pretty good but overall- just meh! That is all I can muster. The latest disappointment was when we each ordered the chorizo omelette, and I am not exaggerating when I tell you that there was approximately 1 tablespoon of chorizo in each of our omelettes. I placed an online order and was able to pick it up within 10 minutes. I got the sunny Seoul hash and trifecta breakfast. I feel like the portions are relatively small, but the food always hits the spot. The hash was so good with the bits of pork belly and kimchi. Loved topping it off with a sunny side up egg. For the trifecta breakfast, I was able to replace the waffle with the cinnamon chip pancake, which I've been wanting to try. It was delightful, and the cinnamon chips had a nice crunch to them with every bite. The scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked, so next time I'd probably go for a sunny side up egg. read more

The poached eggs were very undercooked with really runny whites, the bacon was not freshly fried and they only put the cheese on top of the cheesey grits rather than mixing it in, so it was clumpy and bland. This review is based off of 2 visits in the last 1 week. One was during the week and the other on a Sunday morning! Both visits are service was fine; it was pretty standard. The food on our 1st visit was great! Everything was as we asked on the 1st try! However, our 2nd visit was not so much. Idk why people feel as if everyone like parsley and cilantro but I don't and Ive never had it randomly put on my eggs before. So they recooked my eggs which then came out runny. Bacon definitely under cooked. Had to pretty much send my whole plate back. My potatoes were not cooked completely and had to send them back not once but 4 times before they came out right. And I felt bad sending them back but I was very clear i wanted them completely cooked, actually I wanted them over cooked. Looking at the pictures; uou can see the difference. By the time they did come out we were done eating. Honestly the only things i enjoyed this 2nd trip was the juice and avocado. The other person was happy with all their food. Expectations vs reality were way off. I was expecting some real southern made grits and shrimp. Shrimpy tomato soup. Hardly any grits. Very spicy for no reason. Bread was hard! What I received was more like a tomato soup, the plate was covered in tomatoes and the grits were so soupy and there was hardly any grits and some extra spicy shrimp with all these toppings. Spice does not equate to seasoning!!! The food had absolutely no flavor. Then I got the Hawaiian French toast. You can't smack a pineapple on something and call it "Hawaiian." Overall my server only came to check on us twice, once, to take our order and next to give us the check. I was extremely disappointed and I had such higher expectations.
