Club, just ok
Anne Marie O.

Our party ordered the Kid half waffle- plenty big and tasty- Kid pancake- huge and "very good" according to my kid- the club- huge but "not great" by my other kid- Florentine Benny w/out the muffin- delicious! The secret is in the acidity of the sauce. The waitresses oh so friendly, attentive, quick and not over bearing. I wish I'd gotten her name. Ambiance was typical brunch rush but not too loud and there was no wait on a Sat at 10:30 am

Had the million dollar bacon and it tasted like a million dollar . Wife said if she worked here they wouldn't have any bacon to serve lol. The wake up water melon drink is delicious and my plate was delicious also. We both had the trifecta breakfast except I had the waffle and wife had the carrot cake pancakes. They both were so good and our server Alex made our experience A+++.

Sunny Seoul hash
Angela K.

I placed an online order and was able to pick it up within 10 minutes. I got the sunny Seoul hash and trifecta breakfast. I feel like the portions are relatively small, but the food always hits the spot. The hash was so good with the bits of pork belly and kimchi. Loved topping it off with a sunny side up egg. For the trifecta breakfast, I was able to replace the waffle with the cinnamon chip pancake, which I've been wanting to try. It was delightful, and the cinnamon chips had a nice crunch to them with every bite. The scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked, so next time I'd probably go for a sunny side up egg.

Bloody Mary
Macy W.

Maria was pleasant, outgoing, considerate, and kind. I've been a restaurant GM for 7 years and I would love to have her attentiveness in my organization. The new addition of the breakfast sandwich with the hot honey is great.

Side of avocado $2.29

Love the food! The market hash was excellent. Catherin was a great server. Con: they are stingy with their avocado.

How big of a group can they take cause they don't take reservations?

I'm really not sure but the place is small. I think the one off of 99 is a little larger

I noticed they have a decent size patio, does anyone know if they are pet friendly?

The patio is definitely pet friendly! ? So bring your fur babies!

The exterior is just as beautifully decorated. It's clear that chef-owner Lori Pope poured a lot of time, heart, and soul into both the menu and the store's design. The hostess was super friendly. As soon as I walked in, she gave me a warm and smiling greeting. The menu was a feast for the eyes. It had a lot of lovely pictures of the different dishes. I was ecstatic to see that there were so many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Also, most of the dishes can be requested to be made gluten-free. Big plus. You don't order at your table, instead you go to the counter in the back and make sure to bring the sheet with your table number on it. The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. I am happy there's a locally owned and created brunch place like Harvest Kitchen and will definitely be back to try other dishes. Note: There's an automatic 15% service charge to every order.

This is done because of the ordering process and the requirement to pay at the top of the meal rather than at the end and service was actually performed. The fact that all was done was the delivery of our order and not one check on the table to see how the meal was. They did come by and ask for the dishes, but didn't ask how the meal was. Rating: AWESOME - GREAT - GOOD - FAIR - POOR

We were seated and given a tour of the menu and some suggested options to try. Once the order was placed and the appetizers arrived, the chef came out, introduced himself and spoke to us what we liked best and answered questions about each item. He also came out after the mains were served to make sure everything was being enjoyed. We ordered a few sampler platters for appetizers, as well as oxtail, antelope and ostrich for the mains as we wanted to get a taste of everything. There was nothing that didn't taste amazing! This was the first time we tried camel, kangaroo, antelope and ostrich. We were surprised at how flavorful each of them and the other items were. The adventure was topped off with a slice of the most amazing key lime pie, courtesy of the chef. We will definitely be returning!

Judge it by their menu…read more Table for 2 and our baby for Mother's Day Brunch. $42 per person for a 3 course brunch, sign us up! $55 for premium experience, even better! But wait, there's more....... The exterior could definitely use some work. Host stand plopped outside. Inside felt a little crowded. Wine cellar-ish. Mother's Day, a bit chaotic for all restaurants. Took 10-15 minutes to be greeted after being sat. No big deal, I get it. Santiago was great. We did the mystery mimosa experience which was fun! We go to order our food and BOOM!! This is where they get you. It was all a lie. A very deceiving menu written in a way where you think you're going to get oxtails and jollof rice plus appetizer and dessert for $55 per person. Because that's a great price, not really a deal, just a great price. WRONG. Santiago had to clarify that it was $55 EXTRA ON TOP OF $42 PER PERSON. SO $97 PER PERSON FOR OXTAILS AND JOLLOF RICE, AN APP & DESSERT. RIDICULOUS! TOTALLY DISHONEST AND DECEIVING. Write it as $55 additional per person, so everyone knows what they're getting into before they reserve their table. Because Santiago admitted everyone he served that day was shocked at the additional cost. Not wanting to ruin my wife's FIRST Mother's Day, I brushed it off and still continued with the order. Appetizer: tequeño & empanada. Bland, came out cold and after our entrees came out. Entrees: Oxtail & Jollof rice. I loved it. Flavor was great. Just wish there was a lot more. For $97, you expect to have 6-8 large oxtails and a side of rice. What i got was 4 very tiny oxtails and a full plate of rice!! Peri peri chicken & jollof rice- flavor was nice and smoky. But again, for $97, you expect more than 2 avg size leg quarters and a full plate of rice. Dessert: They were out of key lime pie by noon. I saw the cheesecake, it was a thin plain slice, so we opted for their seis leches cake. It was not good. It was not soaked enough, very dry. The reason the score wasn't lower was because service was great, the entrees tasted great and they gave each mother a single rose and Mother's Day card which had a pin in it that said best mom ever. Which made my wife's day even that much better. Thank you Chef Casey. But I don't think I would visit again solely based on the deceiving menu and small portions that are not worth the additional cost.

I had been watching this one being built for a while and was especially curious to try it since this location has a full bar, which adds a really fun twist to the traditional coffee shop concept. I stopped in for lunch and decided to sit out on the patio which ended up being the perfect choice. The atmosphere was relaxed, bright, and inviting with a nice open feel that makes it easy to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in and everything moved quickly and smoothly. I ordered the guava mimosa and it was SO good. Light, refreshing, and honestly the perfect daytime drink. For food I had the chicken avocado wrap and substituted the chips for truffle fries and both were SOOOOO good. The wrap was fresh, warm, and packed with flavor and the truffle fries were absolutely worth the upgrade. I love that this location keeps the cozy Buzz and Bites feel while also leaning into a slightly more elevated vibe with the bar and patio seating. This restaurant definitely aims to please. I was being very specific about what I wanted for my ribeye steak tonight; waitress Jessie was awesome and listened carefully to my requests. And then to make sure that I was absolutely happy, she brought Chef Kenneth to the table to discuss what I was looking for. Kenneth returned from the kitchen with three beautiful-looking ribeye steaks and we discussed which one would give me the best dining experience. He does some of the butchering himself so he knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up being served the most fabulous Wagyu steak I've had in a very long time. Unlike the other steaks that can have a seasoning on them, the Wagyu is just salt and pepper and then is served with a beautiful compound butter slathered all over it. They make that butter in-house and it has wine and shallots and bone marrow and other wonderful stuff. Trust me, it's amazing! I ordered extra on the side and poured that all over the top of the steak. Delicious!! Sometimes little things count and it was served with grilled onion that was tasty. I could have had a side of mashed potatoes or asparagus, but I decided to treat myself and try the mac-n-cheese instead. Half of that food was my lunch the next day, so I left enough room for dessert, where my choice was the apple pie bread pudding with cinnamon roll ice cream. That was nice and moist and I enjoyed it. Overall, this was a really great dining experience and I'm so glad that bad traffic gave me the excuse to come here. Will definitely plan a return visit!!
