We stopped in around 9am on a Saturday and we're seated immediately, though the place was filling up quickly. We started with two of their juices which were both delicious and refreshing. Snacking on an order of candied bacon over coffee, we waited for our breakfast from the seasonal menu. I tried the carnitas burrito and my wife decided on the pumpkin pancake with chicken sausage and eggs. The food disappeared from both plates in short order and we washed it down with another cup of coffee, which was better than average. Service was horrible. Wait times were horrible. Salmon that should have been laid on top came out in a bowl cooked. You shouldn't cook smoked salmon. They had to take back our plate twice before they got it right. Salads were both yellow and wilted. First watch use to be good quality. They are turning into Waffle House quality. read more

Ugh, we so wanted to love this place. We were in the area because my husband was test driving a new car. I found this place, and we were excited to try it, but nothing was particularly good. The atmosphere is nice when you walk in, and there was plenty of parking when we went on a weekend mid-morning. When we sat down we both ordered cups of coffee. The coffee was fine, but it wasn't great. I've had many better cups of coffee, and my husband agreed. Farmhouse hash - my husband ordered this dish, and he said he was very underwhelmed. He likes a similar dish from another restaurant, and he said this one was mostly potatoes, and it didn't come together for him as much. Morning Market Veg Omelet - this was very very meh. There was not enough goat cheese to make the omelet moist, so it was very dry. The vegetables didn't come together well at all. The best part was by far the toast. Service was good, and nothing else was bad, but the food was just extremely mediocre. I've come here 5 times in the past month and I've always had great service and amazing food. Just like any restaurant there will undoubtedly be small issues, I've only had one in the few times I've come. And that was more of a seating issue. I took one star off just because after getting moved, the waitress never came over to let us know we would be having a different one. We never saw our server until the end after we were almost finished with our food. Never got any more coffee/water till we were finished with everything. Racist Much... Waited 35 minutes to be seated only to leave still hungry without ever receiving our food. The waitress took our order, but decided 3-4 groups who were seated after us was more important. Made sure she greeted them chipper with a smile through her mask. They also received their drinks and one table finished their food before we received our drinks. We literally had to yell to get the waitress to get our drinks. The waitress than admits that she forgot. To say the least, we don't know if she forgot our order because after a hour and 30 min we called the manager and explained the issue. I have had this place bookmark for a while now. I finally got a chance to go one Saturday and there was no waiting like do you read reviews say I was able to be seated right away. I waited for someone to seat me and afterwords they were able to give me a menu and take my drink order and then came back to take my main order. The food came in a relatively short time and I had waffles and eggs and bacon. The waffle was very fluffy and they leave the coffee carafe on your table! It is an open seating area and it is slightly loud but it would be a little difficult to have a conversation unless you're sitting right next to someone. Since I was alone I didn't have that problem LOL. The food was tasty and I do plan to return, one thing to keep in mind is that they close at 2 PM daily. read more

This location is miles better than the location at Grand Parkway and 10. Upon walking in to this location, you smell breakfast instead of bathroom, which is welcomed. We had to wait 5 minutes or so this Saturday at about 11:30 for a table for two. Our host was kind but not too attentive. When we got our food he failed to bring silverware so we had to wait for a few minutes so he could bring us utensils as our food grew cold. This location cooks their eggs better than the other location in that their eggs aren't consistently completely solid; however on my boyfriend's eggs, one poach was perfect and the other was over hard. Our waiter also forgot the sausage we ordered, but that's okay because we didn't like it anyway. The banana granola pancake is excellent as always and today we tried the grits. Be sure to add salt! Other than that, the restaurant was clean despite being completely packed, and for the most part our food was on point. This First Watch is definitely first in my book. I ordered the veggie potato hash. Half way through entree I found bacon? I'm have a strict vegan diet, no animal products. I immediately felt ill. I don't know how much more I may have consumed. I immediately addressed it with the waitstaff. No manager responded, only a bill. I paid the entire bill but feel I paid for food I didn't request or consume. You could put yourself in the waiting list before you get here so we didn't have to wait when we arrived. This was really cool for me. Service was ok- it took pretty long time for us to get our food. We ordered a waffle and crepe dish from kids meal, a Benedict egg with ham and traditional breakfast. All of the foods were alright, eating healthy might be the selling point of this place. The whole grain toast came with the meal was the spotlight. It was really fresh and good. Overall this is an interesting place to go and try their healthy foods. Lovely way to brunch it up with friends and family! The interior is welcoming and the wait isn't too bad even for larger parties on the weekend. A quick check-in at the host/hostess stand with your mobile number will put you in line for the next available table, and when you get the text, your table is ready...convenient! Once my party of 7 were seated we were given menus to peruse but we didn't meet our server until maybe ten minutes in? Service was mediocre and as the entrees were slowly brought to the table there was a little confusion as to who ordered what...seemed like there were multiple kitchen runners helping the server out. We each ordered either coffee or juice, an entree, and two additional plates to share amongst the group. I loved the juice blended with ginger and turmeric but the kale one was also very refreshing. The smoked salmon eggs benedict was decent, not what I'm used to getting as their version of the egg muffin wasn't what I expected, and the salmon portion could be a little more. The yolk was runny the way I love it! The chickichanga was an awesome mingle of flavors...avocado, sour cream, flour tortilla, chicken, eggs, and cheese! I always want myself an avocado toast so of course trying one here was the only option. It was pretty good but adding bacon on top was what made it delicious. Really good brunch place, healthy choices and lots of variety. Some of the plates are smaller than others. My husband and I shared three different options, but I'm also pregnant and hungrier than usual, so my portion estimates may be a bit off. There is coffee served while you wait for a table, which is nice, but no water for those who cannot drink coffee. The wait times range greatly. Our first time here, it was nearly an hour wait. Today, since we came in around 1:40, it was only a ten min wait. The nice thing is that they will take your number down and text you when your table is ready so you are able to walk to either Best Buy or one of the other stores in the area to wait. Just remember, this place closes at 2:30 every day so get here before then. I love the lemon ricotta pancakes, the Belgian waffles, and some of the other things we have tried. I love any type of breakfast places. Breakfast is good anytime and anywhere. So I was excited to try this new place. The menu is very interesting. They have many different breakfast plates and brunch plates. They offer sandwiches, soups and salads also. My one complaint is they don't have any normal breakfast platters for people like me that can't have certain foods due to allergies. I decided to try the BLTE, and i loved it. It's your usual BLt but with eggs on it and it was fantastic. It comes on a nature wheat bread and it was fresh and yummy. You get to chose soup or salad with it. So I tried the tomato basil and it was wonderful. Smooth, tasty and fresh. If you love tomato soup, this one rocks. The service there is a little slow and I think they have too many wait staff people because there was a lot of standing around and chatting. First, I looked up suggestions for Saturday brunch on Yelp, which also let me know that there was a 45-minute wait a little before noon. I did for the first time use Yelp's get-in-line feature and was happy to report I had a table within the first couple of minutes of my arrival. It was indeed very busy but my waitress came by promptly and took our order. I ordered coffee (not that great imo) and Farmhouse Skillet Hash (without cheese for me!), my friend ordered the breakfast tacos. The food came out promptly and I must admit was tasty and fresh tasting. I even tried my friends tacos - yum. The service was nothing extraordinary, I actually was going to order something besides the coffee I didn't like but our waitress didn't come by until after our food arrived. At that point I just drank my water. Also, paying at the register was a bit of a turn off because there was a line to pay and was crowded near the entrance.
