It's clean, chill music. The cats are nice and playful. There's a huge obstacle course on the wall that you can watch the cats play. This place is awesome. 5/5. Will come back. -9 year old customer's review.

We had such an amazing experience! This is a clean facility and the cats are very sweet. The owners are so kind and shared a ton of great info on their business and cats. We are already planning our return visit!

This spot is such a cozy and aesthetic cat lounge. I've only experienced one cat cafe in Seattle, but this one is much larger and you can tell the staff really cares about the cats' wellbeing and safety. They took the time to go over the rules and instructions on how to interact with the cats and made sure we had hand sanitizers and wipes when entering and exiting. They're also attentive and very kind throughout the whole experience. There's plenty of toys and they give out treats for you to feed the cats yourselves as well! There is a little locker station to store your fragile items with lint rollers if you need it. All cats are up for adoption and would highly recommend checking this place out!

A friend and I visited in 3-9-25, The cafe is clean, cats are well taken care of and the owner is very aware of what he wants from this cafe. I felt like from the start, a lot was considered in putting this space together, down to furniture placement and decor. You get to choose from a lot of cat wands before you enter the room, you also get a key to a locker to put all your stuff in. Cats are introduced on the wall with their pics All the cats are comfortable enough to where each one feels safe so all of their personalities stands out. They have an abundance of wall space, not just stairs, almost like wall hotels, for them to create their own bubble as well as mental stimulation toys. The owner and workers do their best to be aware of what's going on to make the experience for both cats and guess enjoyable. The cafe puts effort into helping us have individual moments with the kitties. They gave us towels to attract the cats onto our laps and gave us dental treats to give out The owner is aware that not all cats can fit in this environment, so when this happens, they try to find a home for them outside of this space. He also tries to highlight the older cats personalities because it is harder for older ones to get adopted when there are so many cute kittens around. I really hope more people come visit whether is it to just support the place and be able to chill with some cats, or if you want an environment that helps you choose a cat based on how they are during, what I think, is the best time of day, to get to know a cat. Once a month on Mondays, they have four hours with the kitties for $25. If you work from home, or your a student who is studying during this time, please stop by if you just want to chill with cats.

When I found out they had a Sphynx I booked a ticket immediately!! My husband, me, and step daughter made our way across town (over an hour drive) for this place. Parking was easy, there is a large lot and the space was cozy and clean. I couldn't smell cat litter at all! In the main area you have pictures of all the cats and there are various doors to go through to prevent cat runaways. They even had complimentary juice for afterwards. The cats seemed well taken care of and had all kinds of places to climb on to, scratch, even to run on a giant wheel. This place was a cat lovers dream aka me! I'm giving it 5 stars for the place overall but I will say, none of the cats we came across were overly friendly. Even the Sphynx was skittish and every Sphynx I've met is a cuddly bug including mine that I had for 9 years (rip H). I can't fault a business for something out of their control. Cats do what they wanna do.

    Best cat lounge!

Nicest cat lounge I have ever seen. Very clean. Calm and quiet on the inside. The grandkids enjoyed it! We will definitely come back.

This was a newly started business and i can only imagine where it will go. The cats were cute but not super playful more for pets. The owner was nice and you can tell he really cares for these cats. This is a cat lounge not a cafe there is no food. socks are needed. I would not bring younger kids (under 10) here though.

Great service and ambiance! Loved getting to see all the cats and the service was great:)

What a wonderful ambience and friendly and active kitties to play with! I was only there for an hour but I could've easily stayed many more! The cats are so sweet and well taken care of. The lounge is run perfectly and is an easy and affordable way to get some cat serotonin! I wish I could have adopted them all Please take an hour to visit these fantastic cats

As a child, I have seen real elephants in old temples, they don't have them anymore. Other than that its been zoo and safari. But this was different.... Kennedy introduced himself as the guy who was taking care of animals since 5 generations and he is studying to be a vet. The main mahout was a small guy and he was hilarious. He did most of the talking about all the animals. These elephants are rescue elephants which have been handed over by the zoo for various reasons, or, so I understand. There are 3 elephants Paige with longest teeth, Jeanie with a little short ones , and Krissy with none. With poaching increasing, the number of Krissy's are increasing. That will keep them safe I guess. Not sure why the previous reviews are so brief. We got to learn about them, feed them carrots, even phones if u r willing to give away ( ha ha- Paige really seemed to want them), how to keep their foot and nails in shape, bathing them so on and so forth. This was the first time I had heard a live trumpet and it was adorable. In the end we posed for pics. They are tamed and trained no doubt, but seemed to be enjoying our company and well treated by their owners. They have plenty of parking. Tickets are purchased online, most often they are open only one weekend a month. Restrooms are available. Food not allowed, but a bottle of water is ok. Got to meet Abu the camel, his partner, a zebra and a billy goat and his family too. I wanted to hold one and did not know how to- one of the helper guys I approached said just pick them up and hold - really ! Then some other fellow visitor helped.

The entrance was kinda of hard to spot as the sign is kinda small but we found it! Come here if you love animals and learning about animals. Great for families and couples.

My family and I were in town from Chicago for a wedding, and wanted to do something memorable that we can always cherish before we left. I found A Place For Dreamers on Yelp, and immediately knew this was a rare opportunity for my us to experience an activity together as first-timers. I gave a call, was greeted on the phone very nicely, and all my questions were answered. I felt comfortable and ready to book, so I made the reservation for me, my wife, my 9 year old, and 8 year old. After a beautiful drive, we arrived where we could immediately see the beautiful horses. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who made sure we were comfortable from the beginning all the way to the end of the experience. He gave us a very clear tutorial, and we were riding before we knew it. The ride itself was pleasant on the trails, and not once did we ever feel uncomfortable or worried about directing our horses. We drove away very happily, and have a lot of memories to cherish. We do not live in Texas, otherwise we'd be coming back very soon. Next time we visit the area, we certainly will stop by again. I recommend giving it a try to anyone who is considering it. To the team at A Place for Dreamers, thank you for maling this a memorable experience for us. Please keep up the amazing work!!

Roland, our trail guide, was outstanding. He has a loving command of the horses as an experienced horse trainer, who is majoring in animal science. APFD, thank you so much for a great time of refreshing as we prepared to enter 2026. We would definitely recommend APFD to anyone who wants to take in the serenity of nature, disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the day, and needs a whoosah break. Tickets are only $10, and that alone, is worth the 5-star review. For less than the price of a couple coffee's or cartons of eggs, you are able to have some really cool interactions with animals. If you want to experience anything else like this, you'll have to drive an hour to the Houston Zoo, pay a lot more money for tickets, deal with crowds/parking/etc. The Learning Zoo is obviously not trying to compare itself to the Houston Zoo, but where else are you going to get to play with goats, pigs, birds, a pony, tortoises and snakes? The location is really hidden behind 1488. You drive through a residential street, and then all the way at the back, you make a couple of turns, and suddenly you're at The Learning Zoo. When you walk in, you are offered some lettuce and carrots for the animals for an additional $10, which is definitely worth it. Plus, they have some animals inside the lobby area - snakes, hedgehogs, other reptiles, etc. Then you head outside to the main part of the experience. You can walk amongst the tortoises, get "attacked" by all of the birds in their sanctuary, join the goats and pigs in their pen, and they even brought out a 14 foot snake for people to hold and take pictures with. Everyone here was incredibly nice, too. We were only there for about 45 minutes, but for $40, it was worth every penny.

I love the concept and idea of a safe place for cats and us being able to play with them so we decided to take time out of our morning to check this place out. The cats were friendly, mainly sleeping but it was well maintained and looked like a clean and safe environment for the cats. The reason for my low review is due to the way the business is handling a refund which I thought would be simple and is based on a confusion with their staff members. Online, it states a reservation needs to be made so while reading the rules, we made a reservation. I signed the waiver for myself and my 2 kids and walked in first. I saw they had a 30% military discount and asked if I could get a refund and repurchase. I was told she couldn't refund but since it didn't apply online, I would be able to email them and request for the difference back. Ok, no big deal. I paid for the second adult in store since now I know, we get military discount. Fast forward, I email and they refuse to give a refund. They said online, they can't verify that we qualify for the discount which is why we can only get the discount in store. I find it extremely rude for them to continue to emphasize that discounts are not applicable to online reservation since their system can't verify it when they could just simply ask for us to send through email our ID to get the price difference back like many other businesses would. I could also send the receipt showing where they did already verify us in store and where the discount is applied in store. The employee told me I would be able to request a refund and if I can prove my eligibility, I feel like they should honor it. They did offer a complimentary visit but again, I'm from Dallas so with this bad experience, I'm not enticed to return or recommend this place.

You first walk in and it is a small sitting area to switch your shoes (strange for those that don't have an Asian upbringing). It's a Korean company, and I think the front desk girl said something about it being the first of this specific company in Houston?? Anyways-- after you switch your shoes, you go inside and pay, like $20/hour to go hang out with all of these adoptable cats! If you are a first responder/teacher/student there is a small discount! You get 1 canned/bottled drink from the fridge and you get a few handfuls of freeze dried chicken to give to the kitty cats. All of their bios are on the walls, just read their collars or ask the front desk girl. TBH This was a well spent $20 for something. All proceeds go to the supplies for the care of these beautiful babies. There were like,20 something cats, but the space is big enough and they have a lot of those robot self cleaning kitty litter boxes so it does not smell strongly of cats at all! There are plenty of board games and books to read, there are plenty of places to sit and outlets for your phone or laptop. I fell in love with one cat named, "Rome" but I was unprepared to take him home to Dallas. TBH the only thing I didn't really care for was asking the front desk girl about anything-- it seemed like I was bothering her.
