I enjoyed the environment and look of the restaurant l. Food was a bit more in the bland side, on the flip side the potatos tasted amazing. The pomegranate sunrise held it down super delicious. Jeff was the best server I had in while I want to give him 5 stars for the wonderful job he did. read more

Really good brunch place, healthy choices and lots of variety. Some of the plates are smaller than others. My husband and I shared three different options, but I'm also pregnant and hungrier than usual, so my portion estimates may be a bit off. There is coffee served while you wait for a table, which is nice, but no water for those who cannot drink coffee. The wait times range greatly. Our first time here, it was nearly an hour wait. Today, since we came in around 1:40, it was only a ten min wait. The nice thing is that they will take your number down and text you when your table is ready so you are able to walk to either Best Buy or one of the other stores in the area to wait. Just remember, this place closes at 2:30 every day so get here before then. I love the lemon ricotta pancakes, the Belgian waffles, and some of the other things we have tried. I will keep coming back to sample new things! read more

Failed. When a guest orders no protein, and specifically request no animal products, including dairy and egg, please make sure foods are not handled with the same utensils handling animal products. I ordered the veggie potato hash. Half way through entree I found bacon? I'm have a strict vegan diet, no animal products. I immediately felt ill. I don't know how much more I may have consumed. I immediately addressed it with the waitstaff. No manager responded, only a bill. I paid the entire bill but feel I paid for food I didn't request or consume. Sadly after several years of being a faithful patron I can no longer subject myself to unsanitary conditions and possibly a threat to my health. read more

I love any type of breakfast places. Breakfast is good anytime and anywhere. So I was excited to try this new place. The menu is very interesting. They have many different breakfast plates and brunch plates. They offer sandwiches, soups and salads also. My one complaint is they don't have any normal breakfast platters for people like me that can't have certain foods due to allergies. I decided to try the BLTE, and i loved it. It's your usual BLt but with eggs on it and it was fantastic. It comes on a nature wheat bread and it was fresh and yummy. You get to chose soup or salad with it. So I tried the tomato basil and it was wonderful. Smooth, tasty and fresh. If you love tomato soup, this one rocks. The service there is a little slow and I think they have too many wait staff people because there was a lot of standing around and chatting. Other then that, this place is very good and definitely a to go place! read more

This place surprised me! The food is really good and they have some great heathy drink options. Their regular kale tonic is super refreshing but a little sweet. I didn't realize it was a chain, but I was happily surprised by the quality and taste of their specials. I also got the blueberry lemon quinoa pancakes and enjoyed it! If you're looking for a breakfast spot, check this place out if you're in the area! read more

Ordered the Tacos al Pastor Hash Togo, there is hardly any meat, the potatoes are burnt, and the 2 slices of Avocado are rock hard. I will be completely honest and admit that I am not usually excited trying out new chains but I like the whole farm fresh idea and was willing to give it a shot. First, I looked up suggestions for Saturday brunch on Yelp, which also let me know that there was a 45-minute wait a little before noon. I did for the first time use Yelp's get-in-line feature and was happy to report I had a table within the first couple of minutes of my arrival. It was indeed very busy but my waitress came by promptly and took our order. I ordered coffee (not that great imo) and Farmhouse Skillet Hash (without cheese for me!), my friend ordered the breakfast tacos. The food came out promptly and I must admit was tasty and fresh tasting. I even tried my friends tacos - yum. The service was nothing extraordinary, I actually was going to order something besides the coffee I didn't like but our waitress didn't come by until after our food arrived. At that point I just drank my water. Also, paying at the register was a bit of a turn off because there was a line to pay and was crowded near the entrance. Overall, it was a pretty experience and I would eat here again. read more

I'm not really into eating healthy (hehe) when I eat out. The only reason I tried this is because of all the hype it was getting. I've heard many people talk about this place and recommend that I try it. In my honest opinion, I wasn't too much of a fan. I didn't really know what to order so I ended up with a sandwich, soup & salad. I never order sandwiches when I eat out. I cant remember the name of my meal but it was just decent and had good flavors. I also thought the price was a little high. I came here one day after a test alone and spent $18. So that's that! read more

This place is great!. Tried joining the waitlist online but could only do 6 people so i called and they fixed it for me. I think i waited probably around 4 minutes to be seated on a Saturday. Our server Tyler did great and was really attentive, i took one star just because they lost one of our plates and it come out after almost everyone else had almost finish eating. Overall great food and really great service from everyone here. Will definitely come back!. Thank you Tyler for a great experience. read more

So I came here with my friends and the interior was very cool and rustic chic. Anyhoo got us some coffees and side of water. Ordered our food, had to flag down our waitress since she was standing right outside the kitchen area with other waitresses and hadn't come by after giving us our drinks. I got my avocado toast first, first time trying it, and got to say it was delicious. They did not skimp on the avocado which I really appreciated. My friends also enjoyed their food and everything was very filling. The only thing I'd say was a bit off putting was that we had to call for our waitress several times. Other than that great food and good times with friends. read more

First Watch is definitely a must try! We were in Houston and had to make a decision between here and Waffle House. We did not regret any part of the experience at First Watch. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the hostess and she walked us to our table. The waitress came and was extremely friendly! She went over the menu with us and asked if we had any questions. We ordered the BLT eggs benedit, the multigrain pancakes (I believe it's called), the million dollar bacon and Floridian French Toast. The food was definitely an experience for us. Everything was so good and fresh: from the arugula on the eggs benedit to the fruit on top of the french toast. All while we were consistently receiving service from our amazing waitress. We have tried other First Watch locations and the food cannot be compared. It was definitely an experience for us. Only thing I would change if I could would be the selection of drinks. I was expecting a bigger selection of ""espressoish" drinks, but does not affect the experience whatsoever! read more

Restaurant has very nice menu options with breakfast as well as brunch. I was impressed with the quick service, we ordered breakfast and food was cooked within ten minutes (felt like closer to five). Very good atmosphere. We reserved a place in line via Google and only had to wait about five minutes once we got there, on a Sunday morning... Miguel tended to us and did a great job. read more

Never heard of First watch prior to eating here and didn't know they had so many locations in different states but THIS JUST MIGHT BE MY NEW FAVORITE BRUNCH SPOT! I really enjoyed the pork belly bacon & cheesy grits! If there was a way to marry the pork belly bacon and their popular millionaires bacon. Everything my family ordered was delicious! I definitely hope to go back and try other menu items as well. Price wise I definitely think you get your value's worth for really great food. Good sized portion food where you feel full but not grudgingly full. I loved the layout of the restaurant, family friendly, hangout friendly, and good customer service. Tip: call ahead and make a reservation! It can get pretty busy so it'll help to avoid long waits for an available table. read more

Horrible... For starters during the weekends this location gets so so SO hectic, the food takes forever the servers look absolutely stressed the heck out ! no managers ever really in sight to help the servers out as much. Main focus for this establishment is to hire a better kitchen staff, no matter how many times i come back or different days and times i choose to come the food isn't the same as it used to be and it takes FOREVER. i hope this location is able to get a better management team ASAP ! read more

Absolutely the worst place. This is supposed to a BLT minus the lettuce. It came with wilted lettuce. Who puts cheese on a BLT I can only imagine they did that to hide measly 2 pieces of bacon. This mockery of a sandwich cost $9.96 Ten freaking bucks. Do not ever waste your money on this atrocity. If this is consistent with the product they deliver they should be out of business already. Please do not patronize this place. They are mocking the community. Laughing in your face and filling their pockets with your money. If you go there you are an idiot. read more

Brunch heaven. I've had this place on my list to try and now I wish I had gone sooner. I used Yelp to place myself in the wait list and off we went. Our server was Abby and she was the sweetest. She took time to chat with her tables and had such a sunny personality, you can tell she takes pride in her job. Hats off to Abby! We had coffee, juice, the traditional breakfast and my son had the kids ham sandwich then at the last minute we added the Millionaire bacon. Everything was absolutely perfect. The toast was thick but fluffy, the eggs weren't over cooked ( which is something I run into a lot) the potatoes were plentiful and my son loved his fruit. The bacon was the best I've ever had, completely worth the price. Everything was wonderful but I did see some frustrated people. Trying to pop in for brunch in Katy and not expecting a wait is unrealistic. Getting on the waitlist through Yelp cut down our wait and we were prepared for things not to be a speedy process. We will definitely be back! read more

I'm a huge first watch fan as I've been to the one in Atlanta, Nashville, Phoenix, etc.. So imagine my excitement when I went to Katy to host an event and while sitting in my room I searched on breakfast and saw first watch. This location is Beautiful and extremely new which may account for my terrible experience. I called in an order for a green juice and a waffle with bananas and walnuts to go. I arrived 10 minutes later as I was told it would be 10-15 minutes. I paid and had a seat along with my girlfriend who I had been bragging about this place to and I wanted her to experience it as we had already scheduled a breakfast date for the following day. 25 minutes roll by and I inquire about my order and was told they are working on it. 10 more minutes roll by and come to find out I paid and no one every put the order in to the kitchen so now I would just like to leave after speaking to a manager and getting a refund. The manager comes up and says sorry it will be out in 10 minutes and just really dont' want to give me a refund so I can LEAVE as its been 50 minutes for a green juice and a waffle that only takes about 2-3 minutes to make. He eventually ran back and came back with all my goods (still no refund) and apologized again for the inconvenience. I appreciate his sorrow but I still don't agree with putting off my refund as almost an hour for a juice and a waffle is unreal. We made it back to the room and the food and juice were good as I expected but I still can't deal with how I waited an extreme amount of time for it. read more

Came with family on 4th of July for brunch. Location in next to the Sprint store which a Best Buy and Babies R Us behind it. So, ample parking available. We used the yelp app to get on the wait list which said 15 to 20 min. Note, you can only add yourself on the list when you are within 10 miles of the restaurant. Our party of 4 adults, 1 kid, and 2 infants were seated in a booth near the kitchen. We did have to wait a bit as one reviewer noted that the kitchen hasn't quite caught up in preparing the orders in a timely manner or can handle a full crowd. I worked in a restaurant before so I understand when the kitchen is slammed, the hostess will have to slow down on sitting patrons to time it. So even when you see open tables and she hasn't seat you or anyone yet, that's because they are slammed. Idk what people would complain more about, waiting for a table or waiting for the food? Either way, you will need patience when coming here until the figure out their work flow. The food took a while to come out so again, patience. Even the appetizer of the avocado toast took a long time to come out.... followed by the entrees that took another 20 min. The food itself was pretty good. Great breakfast or brunch stop. My husband enjoyed his crab and asparagus omelette. I got the Elevated Egg Sandwich which was underwhelming but typical. Ice coffee was good and the guys enjoyed their cold brew. Kids meal is also very hearty. The waiter was nice however not as attentive or checked on us to tell us our food status which would have been nice. I think if he did that, that would help calm patron's nerves. Also, he wrote down the wrong order for my sister. When the order finally came out we immediately informed him of the error. He tried to convince her to keep the incorrect order while sliding a complimentary orange juice but that didn't work. She wanted the order she requested so he brought it back to the kitchen to get the correct order. My sister said she would wait. I guess he noticed her irritation and tried to give her another complimentary item but she didn't want it. I give him a star for trying to make her happy and correct the mistake. Even though it was his error, it didn't expedite the order so we had to wait the same time for the entree to come out. So there are some kinks to work out but I give credit for the waiter noticing the unsatisfactory event and did his best to correct it. We will try to venture to other First Watch locations and see if they differ. read more

UPDATE: I still enjoy the food. I am obsessed with the market veggie sandwich and avocado chopped salad. They also have a new juice out called the "Strawberry Smash". If you haven't tried it yet, quick run to your nearest First Watch (this one to be specific). I can't get enough of this place. If you are used to eating unhealthy and not so clean, you may not enjoy this place. But you should DEFINITELY GIVE IT A TRY IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR LIFESTYLE! I came here for an early breakfast (before 8 am) and they were surprisingly busy. They had a lot of options that sounded delicious, but I opted for the Market Skillet Hash. It has eggs with zucchini, shallots, spinach, mushrooms, goat cheese (I subbed gruyere), and mozz atop fresh seasoned potatoes. It was extremely low on all the veggies...like I could probably count the pieces of zucchini, and the potatoes were in big chunks that were slightly undercooked and bland. There was a decent amount of cheese to make it palatable, but overall, it was kind of disappointing. I tried a bite of the ricotta pancakes with lemon curd, and that was much better. I'd been contemplating getting the french toast and after my lackluster meal, I wish I had. I'd come back, but only out of convenience and to try completely different menu items. read more
