Went for brunch but decided to get lunch. They are pretty busy from 12-2 as to be expected for a brunch restaurant. Originally we were sat at the bar, but did request a table since I was uncomfortable in the seat. They accommodated us , which I appreciated. The service was pretty fast. It took longer to place the order than to actually receive the food. I did have the double cheeseburger which was just okay , but the honey mustard sauce was pretty good! I did like how they paired the burger with brunch potatoes. Decent brunch spot overall. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for so long. We're originally from Louisiana, and they have a location over there too, but we just never had the chance to go. Now that we moved here and pass by this one almost every day, I finally told myself, okay, we're going! I'm a brunch lover. I can eat brunch any time of the day. There was a small 5-10 minute wait, mostly for them to clean tables. It was definitely busy -- people kept coming in and the restaurant was almost full. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but I didn't see anyone sitting outside. Here's what we ordered: Shrimp N Grits: It looked really good when it came out, but honestly it didn't have enough Cajun flavor for me. It wasn't bad at all though -- I still finished everything lol. Crab Cake Benedict and Brunch Jambalaya (lunch duos): The crab cake was kind of dry. I could taste the crab, but I just didn't like how they made it. The jambalaya was decent, not the best I've had but okay. Sausage Patties: Pretty greasy, but the flavor was decent. Overall, everything was just okay to me. Not bad, not great -- just decent. The service, though, was really good. Even during peak hour, our server checked on us often and kept our waters filled without us having to ask. I took my mom out to breakfast for her birthday at Another Broken Egg Cafe before a big day out. We had flown in the night before so we were eager to have a solid meal. Our waitress was super nice and since we were the only ones for most of the meal, she was very attentive. The restaurant was clean and very bright. The menu was easy to read and navigate. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. My mom wasn't thrilled with how crispy the bacon was so she gave it to me. I thought they were perfect! I've experienced ABCE in Georgia and Mississippi so I am basing the experience off of my multiple experiences with the other restaurants. To be fair, this location just opened. They have a few kinks to work out. We sat at the bar because it is first come, first serve seating. The bar servers had difficulty attending to the bar customers and filling drink orders for dining customers. They often forgot items we and other customers requested and had to be reminded a few times. Both my husband and I had the traditional breakfast with grits. The grits were not flavorful so we had to add butter, salt and pepper. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary with no bacon but it had bacon so they had to remake the drink. The bartender showed her irritation towards us so we had to correct her for that. She apologized and told us they had a rush of people so she was overwhelmed. This is what I mean when there are kinks that need to be worked out. It wasn't that many people in the restaurant. They need more organization and communication. I will try it again after a few more months. As of today it's a 5/10. read more

Came here on a weekend to have brunch with a friend. I was greeted and seated quickly. The service here is great, but unfortunately that's where the good things end. I tried the Blackened Shrimp Salad and the Lemon Goat Cheese Pancakes. The small shrimp in the salad were overcooked and tough and the Parmesan pieces tasted stale. I liked the caramelized pineapple pieces, but the dressing did not have enough flavor to save the dish. I ordered the lemon goat pancakes because the combination intrigued me. They turned out to be regular pancakes with chunks of lemon zest plopped around and sprinkled goat cheese. Overall while the staff is nice and attentive, the food isn't worth coming for. read more

I haven't been this disappointed in a while. The pancakes, as you can see were grainy and dry. The potatoes were not even hot and they tasted like they sat out for a while. Which they probably did, because it took them 30 minutes to get our food out. I had the hash brown Benedict and it literally had no flavor. It tasted like flavorless mush. My boyfriend who is not one to ever leave food, wasn't even able to finish my leftovers. And his omelette was fishy and cold and he rated it a 2/10. Very disappointed. read more

When we arrived it looked pretty crowded but we were seating pretty quickly. Our sever quickly took our order and within @ 15 minutes our food came out. I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant where I was completely ignored before. After about 15 minutes after being seated we had to go to the hostess stand to ask them for assistance in ordering our drinks. Hostess staff was extremely nice and helpful so the person they sent was able to get our order taken (still no sign of our waitress). We received our food which was good and the only reason this was not a one star review. Our waitress finally appeared while we just started eating (she came by once) and that was the only time we saw her. I should have known to ask for the check when they delivered the food so that we would not be waiting forever for our check. So maybe that's my fault for thinking the waitress would actually come back by to take care of the check.... After completing our meal, stacking the empty plates at the end of the table (so there was no chance they could think we were still working on it) and waiting 10 plus minutes we decided to head back to the hostess stand to pay for our meal. I wish I could say that the poor service only happened to us but it didn't seem like any of the tables near us were being attended to. If you just really HAVE to go to Another Broken Egg (you know, because the beignets are great), then do yourself a favor and go to the one on Westheimer. read more

She didn't know anything about the menu She messed our orders all up. The manager had to step in and fix everything. He was good! The food was good. This restaurant was close to our hotel while visiting Houston, TX. It has outdoor seating and its pet friendly which we didn't know otherwise our furbaby would have joined us. Casual restaurant that offers some very nice "brunch-tails" (drinks) as well and brunch items. The service was warm, and friendly and our food arrive relatively fast. I've been to this restaurant several times before and always enjoyed it, but it's unbelievable how much the service and quality have dropped. I ordered an Irish coffee, and they asked if I wanted it "roasted or Colombian," but what they brought was just a regular coffee that tasted like boiled water. When I asked about it, the waiter told me they didn't have Irish coffee at all and didn't even ask if I want anything else or offer another option. My husband ordered a vanilla spike, and it tasted awful, like everything except coffee. Then the waiter came back and told me he had made a mistake and that they did have Irish coffee, so he brought it out... but all three drinks we tried tasted exactly the same: lots of liquor with a terrible flavor. My husband ended up ordering an orange juice, which was honestly the best thing we had. The food wasn't any better. I ordered the seasonal toast and my husband got the waffle, but we left most of the food untouched, along with all the coffees. To top it off, when the bill arrived, the waiter even charged me for the coffee he messed up -- the one I didn't order and didn't drink because it was awful. This place started off great, but now the quality and service are far below what you pay for. I enjoyed my food so much when I was here last time I came back with a few coworkers how Sunday brunch. It was quite busy to be expected, so I joined the waltlist prior to my arrival, and the hostess advised that they don't get those alerts. Luckily, there was no wait, and our party of 5 was able to get a table. I ordered the lobster brie omelet again, and it was just as amazing as the first time I ordered it. Fluffy eggs and flavorful sauce. I also added 2 pancakes to my order. They were okay. Wish they were fluffy it seemed a little chewy, a weird texture We did have a few hiccups with orders My friends' chicken and waffles were an after thought everyone else got their plates, and this plate didn't come out for another 15 min. Maybe they forgot to put the order in. There seemed to be some confusion. My other friend ordered the smoked salmon Benedict, and her eggs had to be sent back they were boiled, not poached. I ordered the Country Power Bowl - I had mine with the standard scrambled eggs filled with country ham, tomatoes, no onions, over Cheddar Jack cheese grits. With country sausage gravy on the side. Served with baked bacon and an over-sized biscuit. And potatoes on the side. I also treated myself to a $5 blueberry mimosa. A Monday - Thursday special for different flavors and also had a coffee. Everything was dry and flavorless. Lots of salt & pepper had to be added. The bacon mentioned was mixed in and not the slices of bacon I was expecting. I did see or tasted ham. Our server was great! Only weird thing was when we paid, she threw in a double Dip of handing us a business card saying if we needed a realtor to contact her. We thought that was very odd. I went there for brunch during my lunch break on a Thursday around 12:45pm. They're open daily until 2pm and 3pm on weekends. Parking was no problem, we received a very welcoming greeting and immediately seated. Our server made great recommendations from the menu but I already knew what I wanted seeing as how this was my 3rd visit but my friend's 1st. I had the cinnamon roll french toast with their house-made sausage and my choice of eggs-scrambled. The 1st time I had it was best and perhaps that because this visit was very close to closing but it did not disappoint, very tasty. My friend enjoyed her shrimp 'n grits but said they were not the best she ever had, but did have some seasoning to it. But that mocktail though... it was quite refreshing! We were on work lunch break so we couldn't indulge in the real drinks, but I have in my other 2 visits and they have tang good drinks. They are not stingy on the liquor at all!!! I'll continue to keep this place in rotation and make sure I can have the real drinks and continue trying new entrees. read more

My family visited for the first time and my 2 daughters' birthday gift cards got stolen by one of the waiters - they had planned to go spend/use it to buy their bycicles after brunch but the lack of integrity by one of their employees lead to an all round bad experience for all of us. We escalated to the manager who gave us his number to follow-up directly but he has not picked his calls since then, and has not returned our calls. It is sad and we feel nrglected. read more

The restaurant, which seemed a little small was clean as a whistle. What really sets this location apart was Coriana my server. What a delightful you lady.
