It is very difficult to replicate a successful model however, these folks have done so and done so with great success and well deserved. First let me address the patio, which is a wonderful place to dine. The ambience is perfect and when the weather permits, which is late fall and early spring, it truly is a wonderful experience. The service is the same as the service in the Katy Local table, which is just wonderful. Very attentive, very efficient a wonderful experience to be quite honest with you. And when I said, it is difficult to manage a distinct setting with the same level of service as I said earlier, these folks have achieved that which is laudable. The menu is precisely the same, and the food is well prepared in ample quantities and I do not believe that I've experienced a single meal that is not good. Now this is just my personal experience. I won't speak for all yelpers, but I think the food to be quite dependable and the serving is quite ample given the cost. The same is true of the bar, which is quite good. read more

I really like the menu's strong focus on vegetarian and gluten-free options. My table ordered: Blue Crabcakes - The cakes had a very crispy outer layer. The batter is heavier than I would like in my crabcakes. I also felt like there was a lot of filler in the cakes compared to the actual crab. I would rate this dish 2/5. Margarita Pizza - Their pizza had a unique, seedy texture at the bottom that provided a delightful crunch in every bite. It was topped with fresh tomato slices and was incredibly cheesy. I would definitely order it again. 5/5. Philly Cheesesteak - My mom gave this sandwich a 4/5. The dish was served with fries, of which I sampled a few. I wish they were freshly hand-cut fries, as these seemed to have the telltale texture of having been pre-frozen before frying. Chicken Potpie - I didn't sample this dish, but it looked very appealing. My date gave it a 3/5 rating because the filling was quite bland and had a disproportionately high ratio of green peas to other ingredients. Strawberry Lemonade - Their lemonades are delicious!. The honey ginger roasted Brussel sprout salad was amazing! Added the beef tenderloin, the meat was a little tough since it was fully cooked. I asked beforehand if it could be cooked to medium rare and they said they have to fully cook it. Sad. Next time, I prob would get a different add on. Local Table Fulshear used to be our go to place for eating out for a long time. It used to be a welcoming and comfortable place. It was a different story yesterday which made us very uncomfortable. We went there yesterday and the order took insanely long. The waitress came and said the kitchen is running slow. We thought our order was bigger and hence taking longer. She said if we want we can talk to the manager. We didn't say or do anything. We didn't get the lemon we requested with water. When the order came, we asked for the ketchup and the cookie which were missing from two of the orders. Another person came and asked if we needed anything and we asked for ketchup again and still it didn't come. After a while she came and asked if we wanted any dessert. We told that we didn't want to wait that long again and not ordering any dessert, but please bring the cookie which was part of the order. She said she'll get it before we leave to take home. We asked for the bill when we finish eating, which she brought quickly. When asked for the cookie again, she said when she went back to get it, she realized that it was over. But she never bothered to tell us. When asked why didn't she tell us, she said she thought we were in a rush for any dessert. We already paid for it and the kid was upset - she ordered that because it came with the cookie. The waitress kept saying that there is no more cookies. It'd have been a little courteous to let us know that they ran out of cookies instead being rude about it and teasing us. It is not about the cookie, it is the way we were treated which made us feel bad. We felt like this is all you get here, eat if you want or shut up and leave. Regret being a repeat customer. We're NOT going back to that store!! read more

We ordered the Hummus and Brussel Sprouts from Local Table recently for a pickup order. The Brussel Sprouts were good as usual but the Hummus was half as big as it used to be. I guess we will start going to Mezzi when we want a full order. Every time we go to pickup an order at the register there are 6 to 8 young employees talking in Spanish to each other and we feel we are intruding just to pick up our order. Probably time for management to Manage and quit trying to skimp on expense by providing less food. read more

They were very soggy and not crispy at all, even tasted a little funny. -The gyro tasted like Restaurant Depot gyro. -I ended up getting food poisoning the night we ate at this location. -Would like to see additional entree options or seasonal/specials added to the menu. This location needs to improve its execution and food quality, so I will visit the Cinco Ranch and Cypress locations for now. read more

This is a "happening " restaurant in Fulshear so you may want to come in early if your don't like waiting. It's popular because Local Table has a reputation for serving good, heathy food. But I'm giving them three stars for dinner and four stars for lunch. I don't think I will come back here for dinner. My party of three found the dinner menu very limited. None of us could decide and it wasn't because we had three great choices. In the end we went Rustic and ordered both the Rustic Pizza and the Rustic Pasta dishes. Meh. We ordered the Brussel sprout appetizer to start, it was delicious. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries and my fiancé the chicken burger. All tasted great, no complaints there. Bar drink took almost until the entrees arrived, but were ordered first. Our server was not overly friendly, only came to the table for essential times. Had to stop another server to get a box and the check so we could head out. Usually the servers are fantastic, so maybe an off night for this one?
