All three were amazing but the pepperoni was the family favorite followed by the Philly. We also had bbq which was really close tie with Philly. Bottom line is the value for what you get is simply not there. Yes, the food is good! Hot, prepared fresh, and tasty. I got a Buffalo chicken, my boyfriend got a pepperoni pizza, and my roomie got the BLT one with a fried egg. We also shared fried pickles. I drank the fountain root beer by Stubborn Soda, same for the boyfriend. My roomie got the Twisted Tea (not what you think). But guys...it's JUST grilled cheese with extra stuff on it. My roommate and I agree that our sandwiches didn't eat like a grilled cheese, more like just a sandwich. The crispy tender bite with ooey gooey cheese didn't seem to happen, though it did for the pepperoni pizza one. It's all decent, it's yummy. But...we spent almost $60 for the three of us...on grilled cheese. It's almost...embarrassing to have to write that out loud for the internet to see. The soda is good! I tried the twisted tea and it's very good, but it toes the line of toothpasty. It doesn't quite turn me off, but it makes me think about toothpaste, which is probably more than enough to turn others off - and you don't get refills, by the way. The fried pickles were very good! Don't recommend. At all. For the price you pay I would expect higher quality food. The portion sizes are small, the grilled cheese is tiny and their burger has no flavor whatsoever. The first time I came it took 15 minutes for a grilled cheese and the "tomato basil soup" which is literally hot marinara sauce. The quality is just so bad and it took 20-25 minutes for a burger, a grilled cheese, fries, and flavorless mac and cheese balls. Walking in, the entire restaurant smells like bathroom. And it stays like that. The smell doesn't go away. The music is blasting so you can hardly hear your own thoughts. Usually the person at the cashier is pretty chill so it's not anything really related to service. The quality has gone down immensely, apparently. Man I really loved the food truck they had! Now, with them at a brick and mortar, I'm super happy. However, it's crazy that they have food truck pricing (you know what I mean!) versus brick and mortar prices. 2 people, almost $50 was a little up there for the meal. I was also disappointed that my meal took almost 20 minutes to make since I watched others get there's. I will however say that the wait was WORTH IT! The brisket was a hit and not a miss. I would hands down come back. Especially since they are getting a bar built inside. But I'm afraid to see those prices as well. Time will tell! read more

This place is pretty mediocre. The food is okay, but it's nothing I would write home about. This place does have a "bar" like the other locations, but there is no one there, and not functioning. Some of their signature drinks such as twisted tea were not available as well (pretty disappointing). Overall, I would only come here for the lunch special, but not to this location! read more

Meh. If I could get over the price, I might be able to give it more stars. But I can't. $40 for lunch for two. I paid $6 for 6 average size onion rings! But let's go back to the beginning. One of my daughters absolutely loves grilled cheese so she was stoked when this place opened. The inside is well done for the most part. However, don't sit at the hightop chairs - the seat itself if about 8-10 inches across and absolutely tiny to sit on, even my daughter said it was too small for her. There's also no where to put your feet so you'll just be sliding forward and off the chair the whole time. The music that was looping over and over again made me feel like I was back at a never-ending rave with that mind-numbing, repetitive beat. Onto the food. My daughter ordered the plain ol' grilled cheese - which I was ecstatic about since the average price for a sandwich there is $12. For just the sandwich. Being a purist, she chose the original at "just" $9. But then she got sweet potato fries (best thing out of everything we tried) and a fountain drink which brought her lunch to a little over $17. Side note - there are no diet fountain drinks available. They do offer a Diet Coke if you pay by the bottle. Other than that, prepare for full sugar. I ordered the Cheesesticks and Tomato Soup Dipper (from the appetizer menu) with some onion rings and the "famous" limeade. I thought the cheesesticks would be like little grilled cheeses or similar to garlic bread with cheese on them but they are actually similar to fried mozzarella cheese sticks except they aren't sticks. They are like little nuggets. And they are spicy!! I'm sure some people would like them but I can't handle spice and definitely wouldn't have ordered them if I knew. The tomato soup "dipper" is about the size of one of those ketchup containers at a fast food place. The truffle onion rings were too truffle-y and, like I said early, too expensive for what you get. The limeade was very sweet, but good. My meal came to about $18. Also, our food was ready 20 minutes after we ordered. By then, my limeade was gone and, of course, no refills. 20 minutes is a long time for grilled cheese and throwing some things in a fryer. The people that worked there were kind and they seemed to be very diligent about keeping the tables cleaned and keeping the trays and things cleared around the trashcan. Other than that, I don't have much positive to say. I don't plan to be back. I left feeling greasy, sugary, and empty-pocketed. I'll be surprised if it lasts very long. Just like Tom and Chee that was across I-10 before - too pricey and too niche of a market. Sorry Twisted! Edited to add: both my daughter and I got sick the evening after eating here.
