We had such a wonderful lunch at Local Table thanks to John's incredible service. My husband and our three-year-old went in for lunch, and John went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable and easy for both of them. Great spot if you're in the Cypress area. Parking was a pain, as it always is in these "town center" type places. So plan on dropping off your crew and taking a little stroll to get back. Came in with my friend on a Monday around mid-day. They were pretty busy, so we decided to sit by the bar. The bartender was super friendly and attentive the entire time despite how busy she was. My friend and I both ordered the strawberry spritz and it was very refreshing, not overly sweet at all. As an entree I ordered the lemon pasta with shrimp, it was good the flavor of the pasta was nice and the shrimp was cooked well. We tried the Ahi Tuna Tostadas (special menu), Ahi Tuna Tartare, soup of the day (Tortilla Soup), Lemon Pasta with shrimp and the Asian Chicken Salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the pasta and my brother said the Asian Chicken Salad was the best he's ever had. Portion sizes were on the smaller side of the scale. Our server was very nice and patient with us (2 of the 3 of us have severe food allergies). There were a few TVs, so if you're a sport watcher, that's an option for you. Anyways, I'd taken a break from Local Table, after moving further away, but thought it'd be a quieter option to watch the Texans game last night. It delivered on providing a quieter, less crowded atmosphere compared to the bar. Plus, their bar on this night was spacious and relatively empty. Yes, there were more children and couples, but it's hard to beat a peaceful game experience sitting at the open air bar. The food and drink were solid overall. While I think the cucumber basil gimlet needs a bit more work, the beer is cold, my grilled chicken pesto sandwich was delicious (when I got the perfect bite of red pepper, savory cheese, pesto, and grilled chicken slathered in olive oil (or maybe that was the pesto)), and I'm glad I did not skip the chocolate lava cake. We met some friends for brunch today to celebrate the holiday season. I had the mimosa flight. My daughter had Briar Patch Dour and and all the drinks were delicious. My son ordered an espresso which came in a normal size coffee mug. I asked the waiter, and he said they were all out of espresso cups. Oh well! A small hick up. We were seated outside and it was a beautiful day. I ordered the crab cakes and the ahi tuna poke bowl. To drink, I ordered the blueberry cucumber martini. The meal tasted delicious and fresh. Pros: Reservations can be made on OpenTable, staff is very friendly. Cons: The pricing felt a bit high compared to the portion sizes. The $12 hummus appetizer had a $3 upcharge for veggies, which included about 7-8 carrot and cucumber sticks, and the jalapeño hummus only had a couple of very thinly sliced jalapeños. The $22 kabob plate came with four small pieces of meat--two chicken and two beef--felt limited for the price. There was also an automatic 18% gratuity added for a party of two, which was surprising. He was attentive without being obtrusive. We never had to ask for refills, he kept us topped off at all times. The men all really enjoyed their apple cinnamon Old Fashioned's. Our group had mixed reviews of the spinach artichoke dip, some really liked it, others felt it was on the bland side. The Lemon Pasta was very flavorful with the capers and sun dried tomatoes. My son loved the Bianca Pizza, the crust was nice and crisp. The Bread Pudding served with vanilla ice cream was absolutely delicious! We had a very nice experience and will continue to return! Went here for brunch on a Saturday morning. It was pretty busy although we were to get a table immediately. The food was freshly prepared, delicious and and friendly service from Adrian. Very inviting atmosphere. A large indoor bar and lots of outdoor seating. The parking directly in front of the restaurant will be difficult as it's basically I think only like six spots, but there's a parking lot behind both directly and across the other retail stores, but I can imagine that this place can get very busy . When we went there on Saturday between 10 AM to 12 PM they did have a kids menu that kids could be free which also included a juice and also a cookie. Would recommend this place so we'll probably come back a nice restaurant with fresh flavors. We were promptly seated, and our server and server in training was attentive, letting us order drinks and food as soon as we were ready. The food came out quickly, and everything was delicious. The restaurant itself is really nice and spacious, perfect for accommodating larger parties. They also have a bar, plus both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the Chicken and Biscuit Benedict along with a Passion Fruit Mule, and both were fantastic. To top it off, since it was our first time there, they surprised us with a croissant pie and ice cream for dessert. The pie filling was sweet and flavorful, although the croissant was different it wasn't bad. I only wish I hadn't gotten so full so I could've finished it all. Not only is the ambience extremely comfortable, but the service is incredibly reliable and the food quite dependable and really very delicious. We went on one of the evenings where you can order a bottle of wine and get a pizza which in this case was wonderful in addition, we had tuna tartare which was equally delicious and frankly a wonderful bargain. I do not love writing a negative review, but I would be remiss to over-inflate the experience. The reason for this is due to poor service. We were not greeted by a host at the door. We started looking at the menu while we waited, and someone eventually led us to a table. It then took 10min. for us to get our order taken, which was by flagging someone down to serve us. The restaurant seems to lack direction in its processes, which I could only imagine being a nightmare when it's busy. The food was alright. We both had the local burger. My only complaint about the food would be expecting thick applewood smoked bacon and receiving thin bacon without a crunch. Honestly, not worth the price point. It is decent, but there are a ton of excellent burger places that blow this joint out of the water. The ambiance is fine. My husband got chicken fried steak, I got Margherita pizza and we shared a Caesar salad. Shout out to our absolutely lovely server, Bailey! Hello everyone! Today was lunch time for me. So I started with the Momosa drink, this is a good drink to warm up to. Then I had a shrimp and chip appetizer which was delicious. My main event was the Cheese Burger Americana. This was a very good tasting burger. It came with seasoned fries which was very nice. Finally I had just enough room to try the Bread pudding. This was different to me but it was very tasty as well. The service here was spot on even though it was busy.
